Visited Tracy Arm with Allen Marine. Highly recommend the fjords because of its breathtaking scenery and amazing encounters with Alaska wildlife. The crew was so nice and fun, with great knowledge of the fjords, also very understanding of the passengers’ craze for wildlife. The captain stopped the boat every time wild animal spotted so that passengers get more photo time.

Terrific commentary by Elena (hope I spelled it correctly). She was so knowledgeable and engaged with the material; like any great teacher, she was inspiring. I learned heaps.

Really great group of crew members. Catered to their guests totally. Laid back and excited about Alaska as if it was their first trip.

If you only have time for one day tour in Juneau, the Tracy Arm excursion is the one to take!! Our trip was fabulous and had a blue sky day all the way! Saw sea lions, eagles and lots of seals (moms and babies) at the glacier. Saw a whale on the way. Our tour was able to visit BOTH Sawyer Glaciers- yes they are different huge chunks of ice. Breath taking! Beautiful waterfalls along the way- one you get close enough to to feel the spray. Need at least 7 hours for this tour.

What a beautiful day it was to go out to Tracy Arm fjord..as bright and sunny as it gets in Juneau..
Perfect, better than perfect, weather to go out to Tracy's Arm fjords with @allenmarinetoursak aboard Saint Helaina to see some wildlife (a humpback, stellar sea lions, harbor seals with new born pups- some just 2 weeks old) and most importantly another beautiful Glacier called South Sawyer.
My husband and I saw a part of the glacier calving, first time ever, into the water (if only I had captured the video and the sound it makes)
Ohhhh what colors, the trees, the water, the glacier... Perfect greens and blues...
Day spent well with a very attentive, entertaining and knowledge crew - Michaela, Hunter, Emma and Captain Adam..

Jeff, Hannah and crew were fantastic! The crew were all so accommodating and knowledgeable about Tracy Arm Fjord and the glaciers! We were lucky to see orcas on our way up and they expressed that that was a real treat even for them! The cascades and waterfall were breathtaking! Saw many birds, seals and sea lions and eagles as we left the port! The glaciers are astonishing to see and they get right up to one. The food options and treats were great! They served us a great sandwich and chips cocoa and coffee and sodas along with a glacier ice cocktail!
This is a great tour for families. With an upper and lower heated cabin, clean bathrooms and ample room to enjoy every angle of the scenery! Comfortable seating and tables and an upper deck for viewing. No matter the season wear layers and raincoat and if your hands are out taking photos you’ll walk some gloves. It’s windy! It was our favorite tour while on the Norwegian encore! I loved that they tendered right up to our ship and off we went! So worth the money and long hours that felt like we could go for days without a complaint! Thanks to the crew, we had so much fun.

We booked this as an excursion while on Sapphire Princess. There is a pick-up coach at the cruise ship pier followed by a 30 min (ish) drive to the boat. Jonathan was our driver and kept us informed about the local area, a few jokes, and pointed out a number of Bald Eagles on the way. The whale tour boat was excellent, and good staff and complimentary tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were provided. There are restroom facilities on board also, along with a good selection of snacks available to purchase. We managed to see a number of humpback whales, a couple of seals, and bald eagles.

We did a tour that covered the Raptor center, the Fortress of the Bear refuge and whale watching in Sitka with this company. Overall a good tour. I just wish we could've had more time at the Raptor center to walk around, it felt very rushed. Had plenty of time at the other places. Saw a few humpbacks and some sea lions on the marine tour part of it. All the operators were friendly and knowledgable.

Allen Marine is wonderful! We are fairly recent locals… 2 years in AK so going somewhere new in Alaska was such a treat! Our children (19 and 24) were visiting from Chicago so we took them to Tracy Arm. It was stunningly beautiful! Allen Marine has the BEST staff, great snacks, always looking out for wildlife… stopping for fun sights (bears, whales, etc). They are kind and knowledgeable and so fun/friendly! Go on this trip!

The boat ride was smooth, the staff was amazing, and the dinner was Delicious!!! All you can eat king crab 🦀 legs, prime rib, and salmon. All the side dishes were awesome as well. Definitely worth the money. Will absolutely be returning in the future!😊

The description of the Hubbard Glacier by catamaran tour warns of a "narrow, moderately steep gangway." Stairs or ramp? Railings? Just how steep is it? Does anyone have a photo pf the gangway?

The steepness of the gangway is relative to the tide level when you board. Lower the tide the steeper the grade. There is staff there that help those in need. We had some with special needs and the staff made sure they were taking care of.

Can anyone see this?! What time is the evening whale quest offered? Planning on doing it August 1 on a NCL cruise but I cannot see what the start and end times are of it and Allen Marine won't tell me (they just said book direct with the cruise line except I haven't booked it yet!).

We were on a tour several years ago. It was very good......but a highlight was the microphones lowered into the water........so we could hear the alpha female sound the alarm.............the the bubbles appeared.

We did not have microphones lowered into the water--this was a very small tour--about 18 people max on the boat. I booked locally, since I did not come to Juneau via a cruise line.

When booking the "EVENING WHALE QUEST WITH DINNER" through Carnival, what time do you pick us up at the ship? We are in Juneau from 7:00am - 11:00pm and plan to rent a car that morning and afternoon.
