Life of Taiwan Customised Private Tours is a fantastic source to arrange a visit to Taiwan. I was laying over for 5 days after a Cambodian medical mission, knew little about Taiwan, but was curious. Upon contacting them inquiring about the possibility of a private tour, they rapidly replied and together we dialed in on an itinerary that would make the most out of my time there, and satisfy my passion for photography.
My guide, Hsi Hua Ceng, awaited me at the airport and off we went. We immediately became good friends and he was a delight to be with. As conditions arose, such as, peak bloom of the cherry blossoms, we altered the itinerary on the fly to maximize the beauty of the sites visited. They selected B&B's and hotels for me to stay in, and even 1 night in a private home. I cannot thank the entire team enough for arranging such a fun and memorable visit to Taiwan, a place I hope to visit many times more ( with a Life of Taiwan tour!!!)

We just finished our amazing tour experience in Taiwan with the extremely professional and passionate team from Life of Taiwan.
Our point contact ; Gloria , who planned and tweaked our itinerary from our suggested criteria, made sure our confidence and outcome was aligned.
We wanted to experience the natural beauty of Taiwan, with its mountains, terrains, local food, culture and also to learn about the aboriginal tribe. The trip had to be slow paced, to allow us to take photos and videos, and to really appreciate the environments.
With our family of 4 from Singapore ( including a senior citizen and child ) our 8 day private tour was meticulously planned with our suggested criteria, and we began our journey with a very professional and extremely patient, polite and helpful guide; Joe.
What we experienced in our maiden trip was much more than we expected, because of Life of Taiwan really made us appreciate what is called - Amazing Taiwan.
We really like to thank especially Gloria and Joe, and we will be back, because Mountains are waiting for us.

The mountains do indeed wait. They are waiting for me as well. This is the perfect time of year to be in the mountains. Crisp and cool perfect for hiking. Hope we get a chance to meet when you return and thanks again for this wonderful review. Makes me very proud of our wonderful team.

We booked a 6-days-trip and asked for a guide speaking Mandarin and English. The trip preparations, emails answered by Gloria the same day, were perfect. Joe, our guide not only talked to us in the languages required, he also was very knowledgable in Taiwanese society, culture, history and politics. He showed as around and we saw many wonderful things and we aso learned a lot of this fine country.
Based on our experience, we really can recommend this company, Gloria and her team.

Thank you for you kind review. We are delighted that everything worked out so well for you all. We appreciate you kind words and praise. I agree that Taiwan is really a fine country. It is both understated and underrated. I have had the honour of living here for 25 years and am still learning! Fascinating culture and fantastic people. Come back soon there is a lot more to see and do!

Gloria Lee put together a custom tour as, having lived in Taiwan many moos ago, I had visited some of the places on the advertised tours. I also said that I preferred local hotels rather than 'anywhere' International Hotels and resorts. And so it was.
I had two guides over this period. Both were very good in their different ways. They were knowledgeable, informative and caring and introduced me to local foods,
All in all the tour was successful and memorable despite a lot of rain The mountains and lakes of Taiwan are beautiful in the rain with musical dripping raindrops and wreathed in misty clouds.
Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
