I dived with Quincy on the Tugboat and at Directors Bay. It is a cool and attentive instructor which makes diving very pleasant.
The sites are fishy and rich in flora colors included, I even had the chance to see a sea horse on the second dive.
In short a very nice experience in Curaçao!

Scubacao was simply great. I booked with them for a one day port excursion on a cruise. Communication was great both booking and leading up to the dives. Mat was great as well as his assistant DM visiting from Columbia (forgive me for forgetting her name but she was a great DM. )
What was most impressed with were the dives. I also dove Aruba and Bonaire on this trip and at least for this trip, Curacao was my favorite. The shore entry/exit was much easier and safer than Bonaire, and at least the dive sites I went to there seemed to be more wildlife on reefs of comparable health. Visibility was similar to Bonaire, at about 60’-70’ , and much better than Aruba.
I would definitely recommend diving with them and if I’m in Curacao again will as well. Thank you!

Visited Curacao for a day from a cruise ship. Picked up close to the cruise terminal (2 minutes walk) and taken to their dive shop.
Everyone was super friendly and the shop/bus/equipment was spotlessly clean.
Fantastic dive experiences with plenty to see.
Would 100% recommend and will definitely choose this dive shop for future visits to the island.

I had a lovely time diving with scubacao! I did several guided dives and my underwater navigation course with them. All instructors are very capable and we had lots of fun! A dive school that really shows you the nicest spots on the island and we saw lots of turtles during the dives. I recommend this school to friends for their open water course and they all loved it

Wow! Not enough stars to give! Our two shore dives were unparalleled in the health and beauty of the reef and the sea life we saw. Quincy was a great dive guide, going slow and pointing things out to us. My longest fives ever, at 54 and 57 minutes. We have been divers since 1999 and this was our finest dive ever!

Amazing dive with Jillian! They picked us up from the cruise ship and brought us to the dive shop. The equipment they furnished was newer and in good repair. Scubacao offers the option to have a photographer, and we highly recommend this. Leo did a great job at a reasonable price. Jillian, took us on two dives and was excellent on her attention to detail and worked hard to make sure we were comfortable in our gear. She pointed out a lot of marine life. Thank you Jillian and Leo!

Perfect day spent with Jillian! She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and patient. She sets a perfect tone and pace for a day of diving. Juan picked us up and brought us to the shop. He was friendly and informative about the area and plans for the day. Pre-dive plans and briefs were thorough. Leo also joined to take professional pictures…Highly recommended! We purchased all of the pictures.
Jillian brought us to 2 dive sites, Marie Pampoen and Double Reef. Both were shore dives and were impressive sites.
Thanks for the great day, Jillian! We hope to be back for more.

I am a Padi-certified open water diver, with more than 80 dives in my life.
This is my first time diving from the shore. I always did it on board.
Being an older person the effort is very hard.
To begin with, each diver must assemble his equipment, that is, prepare the entire system of vest and compressor tubes. This takes a lot of time.
In addition, you must carry all the equipment with tank included for a distance of approximately 50 m to enter the water. Only there are the fins placed.
The first descent was next to a dock and we reached 18 m deep where there was a sunken boat.
Very good marine fauna.
Great visibility.
The instructor, Quincy, was excellent, he helped me at all times.
Afterwards we went to Jan Thiel beach to do the 2nd descent, repeating everything from the 1st.
Once in the water you had to swim about 100 m to the drop-off point.
At first with the current in favor everything was fine, but then we had to return and the current against us made everything difficult.
When we ascended we were in the sea with strong waves almost 200 m from the coast and we had to swim back.
Another great effort for everyone.
Nothing remarkable was seen on this dive.
We disassembled the equipment and returned to the diving center.
The price of US 135.- seems excessive to me because it does not imply any fuel consumption

Primero que nada, muchas gracias por tomarse el tiempo en dejarnos un review.
Siento escuchar que no se sintieron cómodos buceando desde orilla.
La verdad es que recibimos personas de todas las edades y nunca hemos tenido problema. Si el caminar es muy pesado, son solo unos metros, el instructor siempre esta dispuesto a llevar el equipo al agua por ti.
En Scubaçao alentamos a los buzos a armar sus propios equipos para mantenerse al día con sus habilidades de buceo, pero siempre el instructor esta ahi para chequear que todo este ok y si se lo piden, él o ella también armara el equipo por ustedes.
Con respecto a las condiciones del mar, siempre buscamos el mejor punto de buceo para las condiciones del día. Para hacer lo más simple para nuestros buzos.
Pero nos alegra saber que disfrutaron la visibilidad de sus buceos y la ayuda de Quincy en todo momento.

I spent a week diving in Curaçao and booked a 5-day package with Scubaçao. I could not be happier with my selection of this dive centre. The service is attentive and the staff are professional, knowledgeable and super-friendly. Over the course of the 5 days, I had the pleasure of being guided by Quincy, Mats and Juan for my dives as part of small groups, or even private dives. Each brought their own vibe to the dives but fun, safety and knowledge-sharing were the constants among them.
Scubaçao will certainly be my go-to dive centre when I return to the island.
