One of the best parts of our trip! We wanted to do the Hato Caves and sea turtles, but we weren't able to book it due to scheduling. This was the next best option and it did NOT disappoint! Our guides at Samurai were on time and so very welcoming. It ended up essentially being a private tour for us because no one else booked for that time from what I understand. We had some GREAT conversation with the guide about the island, economy, living, politics... everything really! They weren't kidding when they said the turtles are used to people. They were all over the right side of the pier and will come right up to you (make sure to give them their space and no touching!). The locals at the beach are so kind and it wasnt overcrowded at all. After we were done there, we went for a quick view at the Protected flamingo area and were told about how they all fly in to mate on the island.

I booked this activity for my mom and daughter and they (along with my nephews and their grandmother, who were also a part of our traveling group) loved it! Booking was simple, from drop-off to pick-up everything was well-organized, professional, and entertaining. They picked up directly from our vacation rental, so I did not have to worry about making sure my mom and daughter could navigate the city alone or about having to reserve a taxi. The driver and tour guide were very friendly; they arrived early and did not rush our group to leave earlier than planned. The kids really had fun singing karaoke with the guides as they traveled to the destination. There was plenty of marine life to see once they got there, including the turtles of course! The kids enjoyed the snorkeling experience, and the grandmothers appreciated the calm, relaxing atmosphere. They were beyond satisfied with their experience and I am glad we chose this one. Would highly recommend.

We loved this tour, and our tour guide was very talkative and full of wonderful information. It is amazing how many turtles we were able to interact and swim with. It truly was something that we will not soon forget. This is definitely a must see for anyone visiting Curaçao!

Rudy did a great job guiding the tour, which was very informative. The bus ride was very scenic and the weather was perfect. Swimming with the turtle was definitely pretty cool. I would definitely recommend this tour, which can be booked independently from the cruise ship in case all of the excursions are filled up on the ships.
For those that haven’t been to Curaçao, the locals are extremely nice and laid back, and I would also recommend coming here.

My wife and I had an absolutely incredible tour with Rudy and Glenn. The turtles were amazing. We saw several and were able to get very close. We also learned a lot about Curacao. Both Rudy and Glenn are very knowledgeable. The flamingos were cool, also. We had the tour on our last day, but wish we had done the tour on day 1. We learned so much that would have made our weeklong visit so much better. Thank you!

You are definitely swimming with the turtles on this adventure! They are amazing to watch! You do see other fish as well. The shore is rocky so I would recommend water shoes. Our tour guide Rudy was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the island and the culture. It is a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

This tour is beyond amazing and YES you will see and partially interact with sea turtles. The beach you will go to is small and secluded with a wonderful host of local fishermen that you'll meet. The tour guides especially Sendy are BEYOND AMAZING!!! Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I travel in the Caribbean often but hands down Samurai was the BEST tour company to date.

We had such a fun time doing this. The driver was short and easy in an A/C van. There were only 8 people in our group, which was nice. The water where we went to see the turtles was like being in a swimming pool. It was so clear and we got to see several different turtles and so many fish. From there we went to see the flamingos, but they were too far away. We had an amazing group of tour guides and I am kicking myself for not writing down their names. One had a knee injury, so her coworker took over. Would highly recommend and will use this company again when we come back!

Truly an Amazing Experience! Perfect half day excursion, nice easy AC ride. Rudy our tour guide and Glenn the driver were both Excellent! Traveled to a local beach with multiple sea turtles and tropical fish for an excellent snorkeling adventure! Flamingos in their natural habitat stop on the way home! Definitely add this tour to your vacation

This was a fantastic tour! Rudy, our tour guide, a marine biologist, was super informative! Not only giving information about turtles and flamingos, but plenty of information about Curaçao!
Snorkeling with the turtles was certainly the highlight. There were quite a few other people at the beach swimming as well, but if you hang out a little distance away from where they're feeding the turtles they will end up working there way to you. It's certainly quite the experience to be swimming only inches away from some of these turtles.
Once we left Playa Grandi, we stopped to see quite the flock of flamingos in a salt flat. They're cool to see, but swimming with the turtles was more fun in my opinion. I'm my opinion the flamingos are a bonus to swimming with the turtles.
If you're in Curaçao and want to snorkel with turtles and see some flamingos, this is the trip for you! Rudy is fantastic and you won't be disappointed!
