Country world adventures was absolutely amazing. Their customer service was their top priority. I’ve been on multiple zip lines in Mexico and this was by far the safest I’ve ever felt. The food was so delicious. Everything there is community based. I would highly recommend. There was only 5 people in our group for zip lines and just the two of us for horseback riding. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing day here. Highly recomend visiting. They were so sweet, helpful, and attentive. We did the waterfall, zipline, Horseback ride, with lunch.

Tour guide was friendly and super helpful. The waterfalls were a 10/10 for sure. The lunch was amazing and the chicken was moist and tasty. Cannot complain one bit.

Wir hatten einen super Tag mit Zip-Line, Wasserfällen und Ausritt. Alle Aktivitäten waren gut organisiert und aufregend.

I'm going to review this per activity.
The 12 waterfall jumps were fantastic. My fiance had gotten sick the night before so this agency combined me into a different agency's group. That was a little awkward to wait around but once we got going it was amazing. The walk is quite difficult in the humidity but once you start jumping you forget it all. The first 2 are small then the biggest of the 12. Several were slides which was a lot of fun. We will definitely do the waterfall jumps again when we come back. Bring a waterproof camera, photos are $50 USD from the organization. Also water shoes or closed toe sandles are recommended. They rent shoes for $3 USD but people that had them didnt like them.
The lunch was ho-hum. Everyone else at this agency had eaten so it was a little cold and a lot of flies, but I was fed.
The ziplining... this started out okay, 1-5 went smoothly. When I headed to number 6 the two helpers were fixing the brake on line #7. They worked on it for a good 10+ minutes. Then I did #6 (2400 ft!) And it was awesome. On #7 I got on, zipped and.... the brake did not work. When the 2nd man realized that he tried to grab me but it didnt work I slammed into the tree at the end. I was asked if I was okay, I told him it stung a lot but I'm okay. No broken bones or gashing cuts. How ever today I have a massive bruise (despite icing it at the hotel last night) and I'm sore all over and have a smaller bruise on my other hip. I still did #8 but was very paranoid of another brake failure.
The horse riding was good, wet and a slippery but good. There wasnt much instructions just toes up, heel down. Left, right, stop. In as quick succession as you read that is how long the instructions took.
Overall I'd recommend the waterfall jumps, but not the other two activities. We did not receive any compensation for the brake failure, or the fact that we paid for 2 tickets and only used 1. Attached is an image of line 6, and my bruise from hitting the tree.

Dear Elky--Judy, we appreciate all comments to our excursions.
As I have been personally in contact with you and I also have been your host at the ranch I would like to add my point of view as well. Keeping our customer service high, our company accepted your fiances last minute cancellation from your booking through TripAdvisor (TA) experiences. We informed TA about the cancellation and received a refund confirmation within 48 hours. You never asked me for a refund but it was a normal automatic process for our company and TA. I am sure you received your credit card refund within the next business days after your cancellation. If not, please contact TA. We even would have accepted a cancellation for both of you but this was not requested.
We did all the activities with you as the only exclusive participant! I told you that the Waterfalls are a National Park and that using their guides is an obligation. Unlike us they do not give service to a single person and add people up to smaller groups. We drove you there and also gave you the horseback tour and the zip lines as an exclusive participant. It has been raining those days and things might not have been as usual. I apologize for that, and of course I apologize if you got hurt on zip line no.7. You never told me about an incident and even confirmed to me after the zip lines that everything was fine. Under no circumstances is it possible at our zip lines to hit a tree!!! There are emergency stops before getting to the end of a line. If you come in in the correct body position (leaning back and keeping up your legs), as explained in the briefing at the beginning, what can happen is that your body and legs swing up and forward to compensate an eventual impact. Regarding to the guide, at the end of zip line no.7 you changed position and came in backwards and in an already standing position, so that your calf hit backwards the exit step from the zip line. I am very sorry for this unusual incident. I could not make it up to you that day, but maybe you give me a chance when you and your fiance are visiting Puerto Plata again.

I did the zip line, horseback ride, and waterfall tour. Everyone was so professional, so courteous, and so accommodating. Ziplining was great. Lots of walking that I didn't expect though. Then horseback riding. I thought the horseback ride would be a slow leisurely walk. It is not. It was a trot/faster than a trot and I did get scared, but the guides were right there to make sure I was ok. During the horseback ride, we saw some mango trees and wanted some mangos. The guides climbed up the trees and started picking the mangos to give to us. Then you get a great lunch and relax for a little bit before you go on the hike to the waterfalls. It was a little difficult in the heat and after the horse ride to hike 30 min uphill. And it was steep. The guide (a different person this time) climbed up a crazy high tree to cut down some other fruit (I forgot the name). We got to the falls and I thought it was just to see the falls. No. You jump and slide down the natural waterfalls. It was awesome. Hold your nose, otherwise the water will just shoot up and you will breathe it in. On the ride back to the hotel, we asked to stop by a fruit stand we saw on the way there and the driver and host were happy to do so. Fantastic adventure to take if you're going to DR.

Awesome trip! The waterfalls were amazing. The guides were so helpful to the whole group. Hot walk up but well worth it. It was challenging but it felt so great to complete all the jumps/slides. Ziplines were well managed and I felt very safe. Horseback riding was a blast. Enough of a challenge without being too much. Lunch was delicious and whole adventure was so well run. Would recommend this to everyone!

Round trip (from and to our resort) with the main tour guide for this all day excursion. This excursion does require a fair amount of walking and easy to moderate hiking on wet and rocky terrain.
1st stop- Waterfall adventure. Beautiful easy hike (25-ish minutes) to the waterfalls. We ate some delicious fruit, picked by our guides, from the trail. Breathtaking waterfalls that you can jump, slide, or ladder down into. The guides were super helpful in directing you how to jump or slide. They were also patient and encouraging. Water shoes or old sneakers are a must. We wore our water shoes and they worked out great! Photographs and video are available for purchase. Best part of the day for sure!!
2nd stop - The ranch for zip-line & horseback riding. We were transported from the waterfalls to a ranch where the zip line and horseback riding took place. Lockers were available to rent. A delicious Dominican lunch was provided (rice, beans, chicken, fruit, veggies). They can accommodate food allergies if you let them know a few days in advance. Eight fun-filled zip-lines (some walking involved to reach each platform). The guides did the breaking for everyone. The horseback ride was around the ranch property. The horses were tame and the trail was an easy ride. We wore trail running shoes for these two activities.
We were exhausted when we returned to the resort. Fun and exciting day!
Things to consider: sunscreen, swim suit, shorts, towel, change of clothes, cash, sunglasses, footwear for each activity, fitness level

Definitely jumping, splashing, and swimming at the waterfalls in amazing blue water was a highlight. Zip lining was fun and horseback riding was long, and scenic on dirt roads. Worth the money!! Lunch was yummy too!

Depends when you get picked up. We got picked up first as we were the farthest so we got picked up at 7:30 am and got dropped off last around 5pm.

Hi, I see where Penny went back to the ranch to see the pink flamingos. Are they there all the time? I'm coming at the end of November 24- December 1 and would love to come to the ranch so I can see the flamingos. They are my favorite.
Also could you tell how the weather is during this time of year? Tnx

I am not sure, I suggest contacting the ranch directly. They are fantastic at responding. They have only a few flamingos, they are not a main attraction. handling the iguanas, the parrots are a highlight of the animal/avian part of the adventure. I am sure that they care for these birds and reps and mammals year round and they are their own. This is a small, well run, personally managed ranch. I recommend it highly for that reason.
In regards to the weather, google it. that is the best way to determine average temp and wind and weather

My husband doesn't meet the requirements for the zip lining. Would he still be able to do the tour? Would there be a break in pricing?
