One of thee best excursion experiences we have had in Jamaica. The water fall was beautiful and the Pelican Bar was amazing. We were a big group of 10 and had the pleasure of having Marlon and his Uncle be our tour guides for the day and let me tell you...they were the best!! We were able to past by historical places in between and learn a little about Jamaica from them. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and they gave us really good vibes that we trusted them enough to watch our belongings while we all enjoyed each excursion. That is how safe we felt with them. They picked us up at 8:30am and did not get back til about 8pm because they were nice enough to take us to a gift shop and local restaurant after all excursions. 100% recommend a booking with Marlon and or his Uncle.

If you are looking for a privet tour guide Marlon was awesome. He is out of negril. We stayed there a few nights and took us to YS falls and pelican bar. He’s full of island knowledge and even made a few extra stops to show us things along the way. We also stayed a few nights in Ocho Rico’s and wanted to go to blue hole and Dunns falls. We loved our day with Marlon so much we asked his rates to drive up there to take us. His prices are extremely fair so we booked another day with him. Before we arrived in Jamaica I saw so many company’s and excursion options it was very overwhelming. If you’re unsure what to do reach out to Marlon Harris … you’ll get the best guide, best rate, and privet trip to make it your own. You won’t be disappointed!!!

We felt like VIP. Marlon was our guide and Orlando was with him. They picked us up from our hotel at 08:30 am and took us to YS Falls, stopping at Peter Tosh’s grave site along the way. Once at YS Falls, we were assigned a guide who led us through the falls and took our photos with my phone and did a very good job. As we were leaving we saw they do zip-lining and asked Marlon if it would be okay. He smiled and said to take as much time as we wanted. After zip-lining, we were ready to go. Marlon showed us the freshwater pools, shopping, and food areas to ensure we were ready and that we were getting the full experience. He then drove us to the Pelican Bar and said to take as long as we wanted. Wow!!! We could’ve stayed at the Pelican Bar all day!!! They had a full bar, took cards, had food, great swimming, it was so nice. However, after two hours, we called for Marlon to get us. We asked him to bring us to his opinion of the best jerk chicken place in Negril, so he did. Though, he said he’d wait for us to eat, we got our food to go as we were ready to be back at the hotel. He dropped us off at 05:30 pm. We had a great time. Marlon took good care of us and drove safely. We highly recommend Marlon Tours!!!

Great communication and Marlon was straight forward and accommodating. You are paying for a driver and tour guide for the day, essentially. He was patient and will go with the flow as you desire. Probably more expensive than hotel transport options but was worth the certainty. Was a perfect option for YS Falls and the pelican bar.

An absolute must i took my mum 60 and not that confident in mobility with replacement hips he guides are great with assistance & taking lots of pics for memories- book with marlon tours he was fabulous +1 (876) 385-1751

We booked the Pelican Bar and YS Falls tour for a day trip and Marlon was AWESOME! He went above and beyond and delivered an amazing experience. I would highly recommend! He was familiar with the guides and knew the roads very well. He also knew a lot about the history of the island! Great ride and tour!

Marlen was FANTASTIC, very accommodating & knowledgeable of the area. Our transit was about 1.5 hours and we were informed about all the areas we were passing during this time. Any question you have, he will have answer. Fiancé and I did not feel rushed or pressured, just enjoyed our time! Highly recommend! (YS FALLS & PELICAN BAR).

*FULL DISCLAIMER ** marlon was GREAT— very accommodating & genuinely nice. Reading between the lines is important here when it comes to the description of the excursion. What you’re paying $120 U.S for Is JUST the transportation to the Falls & to the shore of pelican Bar. 1. YS falls is an almost 2 hr drive from Negril . I don’t want to imagine how far it is from Montego Bay. Pelican bar is maybe 20 mins further than YS. A lot of winding & bumpy roads . 2. There is a $20 admission fee for the falls that is not included in what is paid thru TripAdvisor . We came on a day after it rained so the falls were BROWN, when they’re normally crystal clear & beautiful. Total buzzkill. There are several pools throughout that you can lounge @ — marlon does not rush you so it’s to your own leisure. 3. Pelican bar is accessible by boat— you pull up to someone’s house & met by a guy with a boat. Not sure if Marlon meets with the same guy every trip, but we asked how much he wanted to take us out to pelican— it’s basically at your discretion to negotiate a price. He quoted us one price & wanted more money when we got back. He got NOTHING extra. We gave what we agreed to At the beginning. We understand the hustle culture of Jamaica but GTFOH, man. Pelican bar was a cool experience but if you wanted to order food, it’s a 45 min wait for mid cuisine. There is no bathroom (obviously, you’re in the middle of the ocean) & with the 2 hr drive back, just don’t bother, don’t drink LOL Definitely not your more orthodox excursions & it’s not worth the money, in my opinion. Grossly inflated . But again, marlon was great. Showed us things along the way that were interesting facts.

This was an amazing day. The driver/guide is so kind, answers questions about town and sites. He showed us a great place for pocket pita food! The guides at the falls and horses were excellent, made sure we were comfotable and pictures taken for all excursion. Had a great day and would definitely book again.

Booked this trip with Marlon Tours (876) 279-6741 or (876) 428-1770. Marlon was setup right outside our hotel (Legends Resort). We told him that we wanted to do YS Falls and Floyd's Pelican Bar.
Marlon took care of the rest. He contacted both places to make sure they were going to be open (with COVID and everything). We started at 8:00am and it was a full day of adventure.
YS Falls was far more than we realized. You can spend a whole day there if you want. It is amazing what they built.
We asked Marlon to stop for lunch somewhere on our way to Floyd's and we stopped at Las Vegas Cafe outside Black River. It was good food, but service was a little slow and we spent 1 1/2 hours there.
After lunch, we were only 20 minutes to our boat ride out to Floyd's. I don't think I can tell you anymore about Floyd's Pelican Bar than you've probably already heard if you've searched it. It is exactly as you would think.
Advice: Take water shoes!
