What a dream day out at sea!! Our boat captains Kenny and Susannah picked us up from town and we were off! We had an early start which was amazing because our first stop at The Baths beat any crowds, we had just enough time to explore and swim in the most crystal clear water you’ve ever seen. We were greeted with a charcuterie board back on the boat and headed to Jost Van Dyke, while Kenny and Susannah told us so many interesting and cheeky facts about surrounding islands, homes, history - I learned so much! Our captains always asked if we wanted to stop and snorkel or keep moving and we wanted to head straight to Soggy Dollar ;) We had the most incredible day with the best captains out there who made us feel so comfortable and pampered with drinks and snacks, too! The only problem was having to leave the boat at the end of the day :( Thank you to our boat Pirate Girl and our wonderful captains!

We took a family of five on a boat day with Captain Rachel to the BVIs. She’s enthusiast and very attentive to the needs of everyone in the boat. We had Grandma all the way to college aged folks. Safety is her top concern but she’s great at capturing all the highlights with great pics. Highly recommended!

AMAZING experience! Sally and Eric were absolutely the best guides, bartenders, and overall amazing people. Highly highly recommend doing the private charters — they really made all the difference and gave this first time islander an unbelievable experience.

Our family of 4 chartered the 37-foot Axopar with Stormy Pirates one of the days we were on St. Thomas for the week. This was the highlight of our trip! Captain Rachel and Sally were the best hosts, and made our trip not only easy and smooth, but full of great facts and wonderful service. The boat was spotless, fast, and had plenty of room.
We lucked out the day way went as it was the flattest I've ever seen the ocean. There were also no cruise ships in port so our destinations were not crowded at all.
We left from Red Hook around 8 AM and were back on STT by 4.
During our 8-hour private charter, we had a beautiful ride over to Virgin Gorda, then grabbed a cab to visit the Baths. Sally was our guide (and resident photographer) and knew so many interesting facts, while Rachel stayed with the boat and handle all the BVI customs process while we were enjoying our tour (don't forget passport and cash!).
After a couple of hours, we hopped back on the boat and headed to Jost van Dyke to enjoy the beach and grab lunch. No shortage of beach bars, and we went with Soggy Dollar. Food was actually very good, as were the souveniers and painkillers. Had time to swim for a bit before heading back on boat to clear US customs at St. John before docking back in Red Hook.
We look forward to trying a different trip with Stormy Pirates the next time we return to St. Thomas. It was an A+ day!

We had the most amazing day in the BVI. First stop the Tipsy Shark for breakfast while our amazing Captain Rachel navigated customs. Rachel then took us to the Indians to snorkel and Willie T’s for a drink and a jump. We then headed to White Bay and the soggy dollar for afternoon fun. Captain Rachel was amazing. She’s a skilled captain that knows how to make a charter fun!

We originally booked the sail to soggy dollar bar tour and when it cancelled Stormy Pirates worked with us to find another tour they worked and boy was it amazing! Kenny was an amazing boat captain and tour guide. Anyone who wants to see the USVI and BVI hotspots in one day should look no further. Our first stop was at Foxy’s, then onto the Soggy Dollar Bar, stopped by the Indian’s to snorkel and then past Willy T’s. Great day and fantastic company!

We come to St. Thomas every year and have used other charter companies but keep coming back to Stormy Pirates! They’re the best! The crew is always so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My husband, myself, our 3 young kids (ages 7, 5, and 1.5) and my parents all took a private half day charter (with Captain Rachel and Sierra) on one of their catamarans and it was such an awesome day!! Rachel and Sierra were soo good with our kids which made the day that much more enjoyable. By far the most kid friendly captain/crew that we’ve ever had! We went to 2 great snorkel spots (saw a shark and some turtles!) and had lunch at pizza pi (so good!) It was an unforgettable trip and we will be back again next year!!!

Had a great day with my family and Captain Tyler aboard the Buccaneer boat. Curated a fun day based on what the family wanted to do and see. Beverages were top notch w name brand adult bevs and soft drinks. Pirate juice is yummy. Beware! And made our anticipated pizza pie outing easy and fun, Would 100% recommend and book next time we are back.

We went over to White Bay on Friday, March 17th with Kenny and Suzanna. From start to finish, it was a great experience. The waters heading out to Jost Van Dyke were a little choppier than normal but they made sure we were all safe and when one of our tweens felt a little nauseous, Suzanna hooked her up with laying down on dining bench with pillow and bucket ready, if needed (didn’t need thankfully). They paid close attention to the waters at White Bay to see if too rough to swim or if taxi option might be best/safest. We went taxi route just to ensure our 10 year old didn’t have any issues getting to the boat. I had originally booked the Baths/White Bay scheduled trip with Stormy Pirates but a passport issue made me question if that was the right trip (unsure if we could all passports before we flew to St Thomas). I am so happy we ended up going with the private charter route. With four kids, they were happier this way and truly enjoyed the experience. Thanks to Kenny for the calm sail back to St. Thomas and to Suzanna for sharing the fun facts throughout the trip and ensuring all of our needs were met- we truly couldn’t have asked for anything more! Suzanna gets extra points for the Shamrock gear and the Shamrock cookies to help celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️😁

We rented a private Catamaran for a port day in St. Thomas for 11 adults. Communication before the trip was great! They helped with a taxi.
The Catamaran arrived on time, the boat was beautiful and very clean.
The captain, Dalton did a good job and took us to 3 spots, one was a private island and the Pizza boat.
The best part was the service on the Catamaran! Sierra treated us like family and was offering us amazing drinks. She was so nice and was always so happy!
I HIGHLY recommend this company! make sure to ask for Sierra!
