Hands down a great experience! Captain and first mate were both very friendly and took us to some great spots. We had lunch at Lime Out and diner at Pizza Pi. A wonderful time was had by all and they accommodated our party of 13 with no problem.

We had the best ever tour yesterday from the crew of El Toro. Our family of 17 with 9 kids ages 5-18 all enjoyed themselves. The crew of Teresa and Kit were amazing! I’d strongly recommend them to anyone looking for an outstanding day trip in St. Thomas.

One of our best days was spent on El Toro with Captain T and Kit. The stops they chose for snorkeling were perfect. We saw Turtles, stingray, starfish, coral, eel and tons of beautiful fish. They provided tips for our stop in St. John for shopping and lunch. Both Captain T & Kit went above and beyond to ensure our group had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

Our day on the El Toro was by far the highlight of our week stay in St Thomas. All 19 of us agree that our boat day was the most fun we had. John and Kit made our experience so great! They were so professional and made sure we had the best day ever! If you have a bad day with them, it has to be you. lol.

We went out on Innovation 2 with a party of 10 and Daniel as our captain. The boat is great—plenty of room and shade and a very smooth ride. Daniel was a wonderful captain who took us to a number of snorkeling sites we would never had found on our own. A great day!

I worked with John, the owner, to book a private boat day on El Toro. John was incredibly easy to work with for booking. We had our first boat day with Brian and Justin, who were both wonderful, funny, knowledgeable, and overall just nice guys. They took us to great snorkel spots and private beaches inaccessible from the island. We loved it so much that we booked a second day on El Toro and were lucky enough to have Brian again, and John (the owner). Again, such a perfect day. They provisioned drinks for us that time and Brian made delicious Island-y cocktails. 10/10 recommend, when we head back we will absolutely use John and his team again for a boat day!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. I was put in contact with John by some locals and I am so glad. He was so helpful from the start. We had a group of 16 and El Toro was able to accommodate all of us. John made it so easy to get everything set up and I was able to keep in contact with him for any questions. He got back to me fast with all the answers we needed.
El Toro was great. We all had room to sit comfortably and there were sun spots and shade spots for whatever you wanted.
Our captain Justin was wonderful. We wanted to snorkle and we had some areas in mind. He was able to tell us about the areas we were interested in. He advised against one due to the amount of sargassum. It is awesome to have someone familiar with the area that could help guide us to an incredible day. Justin took us to 5 different places to snorkle, some on St John and some on St Thomas. Every spot we stopped was a little different than the rest.
Our first mate, Kit was wonderful as well. She was very receptive to our needs during the whole trip. She had everything ready for us and kept our drinks filled!!
We could not have asked for a better crew. Justin and Kit made our trip so memorable. They were both so knowledgeable about the islands and the areas we visited.
With a group of 16.....it is sometimes hard to please everyone, but they did it!! ALL 16 of us were happy with our trip and exhausted by the end of the day. If anyone with a big group is looking for a great boat ride for the day.....look no further! EL TORO IS THE WAY TO GO!

A highlight of our family vacation to Magen’s Bay was our snorkel excursion on the El Toro with Alex and Kit! From start to finish we could not have asked for a better experience. John was so responsive to emails and so flexible while trying to accommodate our group of 19 passengers ranging in age from 15 to 75. The main reasons we selected St Thomas Boat Rental were the size of the boat and their willingness to pick us up at our rental house! The service we received was an added bonus.
While on vacation, the corona virus pandemic broke out. All of the snorkel equipment was properly sanitized between each use and was in very good shape. And we couldn’t have been any more socially distanced than in the beautiful turquoise waters of St Thomas and St John enjoying the sunshine and warm climate! While they did a great job of keeping the equipment clean during our excursion, I don’t believe that this was anything out of the ordinary. Their boat and equipment are well maintained and exactly as presented on their website.
We were taken to 3 separate beaches to snorkel, each of which had a completely different under water landscape. We saw beautiful coral, a wide variety of colorful fish, turtles, and a small stingray, not to mention the white sand and crystal clear water. At one point we asked how deep the water was. Kit informed us that we were in 30-40 ft of water and you could clearly see large sea shells in the rippled white sand below. Most of us had never snorkeled in water that clear.
This is an excursion our group would definitely recommend. John, Alex, and Kit are very attentive and a true class act!

A group of 8 friends made the best decision ever by renting El Toro for a day in the Caribbean. Alex, our captain was professional and knowledgeable and showed us a wonderful time cruising around the BVI. Kit, his first mate was outstanding! She made sure to everyone was comfortable and accommodated us as far as food, beverages or if we had any questions or requests.
We began our trip at The Baths and choose to swim back to El Toro, crazy right?.. Best decision ever! Kit had noodles for us to help us swim back to the boat!
After a hot hike into The Baths, swimming back to the boat was fun and refreshing.
Alex took us to a secluded sandy beach where the waters were just gorgeous!
We also snorkeled at Diamond Reef, followed by lunch in White Bay, hitting up Soggy Dollar Bar for a painkiller or two.
Thanks so much for the wild ride on El Toro, we will definitely come back!

El Toro was a beautiful and super comfortable boat for our group of 15 - awesome to have plenty of seating in both the sun and shade. Can’t say enough great things about Alex and Kit - they came up with a perfect itinerary for us with lots of snorkeling and great secluded beach spots and kept it really fun for kids too. John was awesome to work with and very responsive. Our trip with them was by far the highlight of our already amazing vacation. Highly recommend!
