This place is number one for a reason. They’ve got great boats and even better people. Kendal and Anna were fantastic with our young family (4 under 12) and grandma. When we come back we’ll definitely book again.

We had a great time on our all day visit of the Islands. We had an asesome crew that took great care of us and offered plenty of information about the area. Would highly recommend.

Sonic charters was recommended to me by a local friend on the island, with so many companies who do you go with??? ….I’ve now booked 2 trips on their catamaran and it’s been amazing! The way they cater to you makes you feel bougie! I highly recommend sonic charters!

Every aspect booking with Sonic tours was excellent. Carrie was quick to respond to questions and helpful with scheduling. Kevin, our captain, was awesome! He knew absolutely everything about the island, we had the best time listening to local history between snorkeling and bar stops for our 3 kids ages 19-23.
We met some dear friends on our trip, some were local, some moved to the island for family. My advice for your upcoming travel to St. Thomas and surrounding Islands, appreciate the beauty and don’t forget, this is home for many who live on the island full time. Take care of it and thank them for sharing it with you and for the memories you will create with your family and friends. :)

We always call Sonic when we go to St. John. Their boats are wonderful and the captains can always find good places to go even if the weather is bad. Louise was our captain this time and she was awesome.

Our family took a trip to St. John this past May and the main to do item on our list was to charter a boat and tour the beautiful waters of St. John & St. Thomas. We heard wonderful things about Sonic Charters and they did not disappoint! The owner/manager was so great to communicate with prior to the trip. She was incredibly accommodating, answering our MANY questions, offering local insight and helping us to set up reservations at Lovango for lunch (Highly recommend this calm oasis. Great food and gorgeous accommodations).
We chartered the Sailing Yacht "Freedom". The boat is gorgeous, so roomy and comfortable for our family including 6 adults, 1 toddler and 2 infants. Our babies were able to safely & comfortably nap in the air conditioned cabins below deck. This made for a much easier day for the rest of us! With beautiful snack trays, delicious drinks & incredibly attentive & friendly Captain and first mate, we had a fantastic day. (side note, I LOVED the Yeti glasses they provide to guests, cold drinks all day!) There is plenty of shade and space for rambunctious kids. We snorkeled and relaxed in the gorgeous USVI waters all day. We cannot wait to visit again and use Sonic Charters on our next vacation. We loved every minute of our time on this beautiful boat.
Bonus that this company is run by a hard working powerhouse momma. Love a company owned and operated by a woman! Thank you Sonic Charters, we'll be back!

Captain Steve was great, a lot of fun, and just a pretty cool guy. He made the most of our day and took us to the most beautiful spots. Definitely do a full boat tour so you can go all around the island and have enough time to have lunch at the swim up taco bar. Request Captain Steve!

My family and I had an amazing time on Sonic Charters. Captain Gus and Kaelynn provided one of the best hospitality services to us. We had a splendid time. Captain Gus was so attentive to making sure my little one had one of the best times of his life. Captain Gus took us safely to all the beautiful spots we wanted to see and explore. Kaelynn made sure we were comfortable and happy. She was very consistent with making sure our needs were always met. It was a Charter sail with a five star crew to remember. If your looking for comfort and relaxation with a twist of fun, Sonic Charters is the one.

Captain Nate aka Nate the Great and First Mate Kelsey were the absolute best sea faring partners one could ask for! They met us at the gate and the fun began!
The day was extraordinary to say the least! I told Nate we didn't want to do the standard stuff! Take us to the off the beaten path spots! He obliged!
We saw amazing sites (Now I can't tell you the names of the spots because it's special like that! - but just tell Nate you want the exclusive Hal Boogie tour and he'll know where to go! You won't be disappointed! Trust me!)
Kelsey came through with the eats and treats! And she actually saved one of our passengers who couldn't swim after they fell into the water! The 80% return rate was never in question!
My niece dj'ed and we bumped the funk from coast to coast from sun-up to sundown! We snorkeled and swam and laughed and took plenty of photos.
Thanks Sonic Charters!!! It was easy to do business with you and worth every cent!

We had an amazing day on the boat with captain Nate and first mate Gill. They took us to beautiful spots for swimming and snorkeling and went above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed. The boat is luxurious and extremely comfortable and we did not want to leave! Thank you Sonic Charters for an unforgettable experience !

A great ride around the islands. Nate & Jill were awesome! A must do when going to St Thomas. It was amazing…tons of turtles, fish and stingray.
