I wish I could give negative 5 starts. I was emailing the tour company back and forth the days following up the tour but no where in all the reservations or booking confirmation does it stay the meet up is before 6pm. I arrived with my family at 5:55pm and the boat already left.

Amazing experience!!! My family and I really enjoyed it. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The dinner was so good as well.

The experience is not bad, however it has two very important areas of opportunity: 1. Dinner, the food is very bad, dare I say that the only thing passable is mashed potato, everything else is very disgusting type jail food, raw and unflavored meat, past cooked vegetables, anyway very bad and 2. The main pirate makes jokes at the expense of people, like a clown, this point I did not like at all, he made a very bad comment regarding my physique, super stud.
The good thing: the show was actually nature, we could see stripes jumping and a beautiful sunset, and I have to say that all the other guys on the staff put a lot of effort to attend to you.
The pirate show is not as good as in Vallarta where the two ships interact and simulate a fight with cannons and fireworks, here none of that.
My tour was on the boat Buccaneer Queen.
The good thing: the show was actually nature, we could see stripes jumping and a beautiful sunset, and I have to say that all the other guys on the staff put a lot of effort to attend to you.

I was a little apprehensive when I saw how long the line was for entry, but it didn’t matter that the boat was crowded, this was the highlight of our vacation for the kids. Don’t expect a gourmet meal but DO expect your kids to be grinning from ear to ear during the show. Nothing better as parents than watching your kids genuinely have an amazing time. We even saw manta rays (sting rays? I don’t know the difference) leaping from the water. Even the sea creatures were partying!

Excellent walk. You visit the arch, have an open bar and an option for luxury drinks that you can buy if you want. Very good food included. A great pirate show and a lot of interaction with spectators. Especially if you're carrying children.

First of all, unless you upgrade to premium, they only offer you beer. I asked for wine (since Viator says it includes wine) and was told that it’s not included — even when I showed them my ticket that says it’s included. The guy I talked to kept telling me he’d check on it and never would come back. I didn’t even have water while trying to choke down dinner. He finally offered me a watered down cocktail but at that point the trip was just about over (he brought it to me at 7:35 and our trip was 6-8). Then he offered me a bottle of wine to take with me which was nice but kind of missed th point since I couldn’t drink it on board and the trip was over at that point (also it was a a bottle I’d bought at Costco for around $6 that he had tried to sell to me earlier for $75).
The food is okay, not great. There are WAY too many people on the boat and not enough seats. The show doesn’t really start until you’ve been on the boat for an hour and a half of a two hour boat ride and most of the time you’re just sitting in the same spot on the water. Half of the show was them bringing people up (who we didn’t know of course) who had birthdays or anniversaries and asking them questions (name, age, where are you from, etc) which we couldn’t really hear and was sooo boring. Once the show finally started it was over really quickly and we couldn’t see any of it because of where we were sitting. My daughter got up to try to see a couple of times and they kept asking her to sit down even though the reason she got up was that there was a big adult man standing up and blocking our view. We definitely won’t do this again and won’t recommended to friends.

The pirates, bartender, emcee, dj… all fabulous. The food was good and the show was good also. The little kids on the boat had faces absolutely lit up with excitement and that made me smile.

We had a wonderful time on this pirate cruise. The staff/entertainers put on quite a show. The MC has an excellent voice and is funny. Our kids were very enthralled. The food was good. Despite one overly drunk attention-seeking passenger, the production ran smoothly - my girls are still talking about it weeks later. I captured some breathtaking photos of the arch and the sunset. Advice for future cruisers: Let the entertainers entertain; don't try to insert yourself into their show unless invited to participate.

Aaarrr you ready, kids?! Booked this as a gag to take my girlfriend (who lives in Cabo) on a cheesy, eye-roller, touristy experience. It did not disappoint :) While we didn't have big expectations and knew it was going to be full of drunken tourists, we actually had a fantastic time! The crew was very good with their shtick and acrobatics and fire flinging. There were some very cute families with small kids that participated with the pirate show and that was a highlight. The food was fine. The drinks were included so after a couple beers, the show was way more appealing. Make sure to get paper tickets at the terminal station before getting in line or you'll waste time, although being the last on board was actually nice and we got our own bench by the food table (though they consistently passed us by for drinks and food). For the best experience, sit in the middle of the boat by the entrance - that's front row to the show and you'll feel the fire, see all the action and I was even pulled into the fray and danced with a pirate, which is something I definitely didn't expect. While it's an expensive activity ($90 a pop plus $35 if you want two hastily framed photos of your party on board in front of the arch) it definitely makes for a fun night out that you can then check "pirate sunset cruise" off your bucket list. Definitely not something I even need to do again but was glad I went. Though I could do without the spring break soundtrack they played. Shots, shots, shot-shot-shot shots, shots... ugh.

This pirate sunset cruise and show was the highlight of our trip for our family! (And we’ve been to Cabo several times) We have an 8 year old and a 19 year old and they both loved it. Entertainment for all ages and the dinner was amazing! We’ve been on other dinner cruises and the food is usually mediocre. This dinner was delicious and a big helping, with an open bar and all kinds of drinks for kids. Lots of fun dancing at the end. We had a blast and would definitely do this pirate sunset cruise again.
