Great Tour!!
This was a great tour. We saw all of the highlights of the city and outskirts. Kyle was an awesome guide. It was a great day!

Awesome staff. Couldn’t have been nicer and more informative. I can’t say enough great things about it. Kyle and Erick were funny. Totally recommend and if we ever get back to Vancouver, will definitely pick Vancity Tours again.

Book this Private Tour and ask for Eric to be your guide if at all possible. He was Absolutely Wonderful. Had an amazing knowledge of the history of Vancouver BC and the sights we enjoyed with him. Excellent Driving Skills and an Amazing Person! He dropped off our shopping parcel to the hotel so we would not have to take it around with us.
The tour of the city helped us to know where to go on the following days we were visiting. Our tour ended on Granville Island with a recommendation regarding what turned out to be an amazing dining experience with great views. Excellent meal at the Sandbar and then a trip to the Granville Island Markets and a ride on the Aqua Bus back to our hotel. We were able to spend a bit of time shopping for souvenirs and again Eric provided an excellent recommendation about where to find items we wanted in the city. My husband and son loved the trip to GasTown to see the Steam Clock and the trip to the Capilano Bridge was a breathtaking experience with views from the suspension bridge and the cliff walk path as well. This was the Best Private Tour Ever. Comfortable Vehicle with a Safe Knowledgeable Guide!

Friendly, knowledgeable tour guides (shout out to Erik S.) coupled with a comfortable ride, Vancity Tours offers you a great way to explore the city. Having the private tour not only gave us more time to enjoy the stops, but it also allowed for a more tailored experience with recommendations on where to eat, drink and visit. Would 100% do this experience again!!

Overall and amazing experience or guide Don was very informative and had a lot of knowledge about the area. We got to stop and the Capilano Suspension bridge and we had a lot of time to explore and walk around. Would 100% do this tour again and recommend to visitors on Vancouver

First of all, let me preface my review by saying in our opinion a Private Tour is honestly the better way to visit some of Vancouver B.C.'s key features and eat delicious food and it has been our experience most of the time that admission cost of events and attractions are included in the tour price. Also as a mature couple in our early 60's we've grown to appreciate our space and privacy. However, if one is among the generation of "crowd-lovers" trying to press through people to take decent pictures this may not be for them. The scheduled time to meet our driver was 2:00 p.m. at the luxury Pan Pacific Hotel in Canada Place. Since we're carrying luggage we arrived early so we could take the weight off after the long ride from Burnaby, B.C.on the fantastic SkyTrain. We made use of the hotel's beautiful lobby to charge our phones and pass the time. Our expensive full size American SUV arrived promptly out front. The moment our driver Russ stepped out of the vehicle his performance was both tasteful and professional. Russ met us with a warm and friendly greeting. He loaded our luggage and made sure we were comfortably seated before pulling away from the hotel. He explained the planned itinerary and said he was obliged to curtail from it at our discretion. Another wonderful tour in the making our first stop was Gastown the city's original downtown still bustling with a myriad of shops, stores and restaurants. Even in the early afternoon oceans of people made their way back and forth stopping, shopping, taking photos, window shopping or just looking around. Among my favorite Landmarks is the Steam Clock still emitting steam from its tower to this day. The inner workings modified to more sustainable components are interesting to watch on all four sides. The adjacent community is Chinatown developed for the Chinese who had migrated to the city to work on the railroad. I love the beauty of their colorful oriental buildings and structures and curbside vendors. Next was the infamous Stanley Park larger than New York's Central Park it contains more attractions than one can see in a day including the Rose Garden which is the home of more than 4,500 plants of which 3,500 are Roses. Our summer visit afforded us the opportunity to see all of them in full bloom and smell the different fragrances on the drive through. As much as there is to say about Stanley Park one would require a 10 page review. Our next stop was the best of all......Capilano Park. The park is home to the Capilano Suspension Bridge along with The Cliffwalk and Treetop Adventure which were added a few years by the Founder's granddaughter. One word comes to mind when trying to describe this exciting park......EXHILARATING!!!! Walking the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Treetop Adventure and its 7 suspension bridges were pretty thrilling but the Cliffwalk has to be my favorite attraction with all of its cliff edge overlooks. The Park's beautiful Red Cedar, Western Hemlock and Douglas Fir trees are as old as 250 years, massive and reach upwards of 175 to 200 feet tall. Granville Island is a self-contained business community with everything one may need to enjoy their stay including a hotel, delicious places to eat and stores for the enthusiastic shopper. I love their fish and chips. Our final stop Vancouver Island with its series of towns and villages is essentially is a city in its own right. Beautiful homes and landscapes predominantly occupied by Indigenous people...a must see to appreciate. I come from very humble beginnings on the Southside of Chicago so I truly know the value of a dollar. With that said, no one should deprive themselves of an chance to lifelong memories and Vancouver, B.C. does it all. Thank you Russ for providing such an extraordinary tour that created memories for decades to come and thank you Vancity Tours for an exceptional touring experience.....we will be back!!

Excellent way to see the City Highlights

Our private tour driver and guide - Maggie - went out of her way to show us some of the best highlights of this beautiful Canadian city. Her knowledge and commentary throughout the tour was informative and educational. The tour included Chinatown, Gastown, a stop in Stanley Park and time for a tour and a bite to eat at the Granville Island market area. One of the highlights was a visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver. Priority entrance was a huge bonus given the massive crowds of tourists at this amazing attraction. Crossing the Bridge itself plus the cliff walk and treetop adventure were highlights and Maggies knowledge of the history of the park added to the experience. If you are visiting Vancouver and your time is limited, this comprehensive tour is highly recommended. An add-on which we did separately would be a visit to Grouse Mountain which was also outstanding.
