Just got back to the States from England and without a doubt, one of the highlights of my trip was this excursion through the Cotswolds.
Mark, our driver, was a wonderful guide. Being from the area, he had a wealth of information to pass along to us. He gave us great insights into the history of the Cotswolds as well as the future of the area.
The tour itself was incredibly well paced and fun. We had enough time in each spot to get a feeling for the town and have a look around. Chipping Campden was the crown jewel. Beautiful town. But then again, everything in this area is absolutely gorgeous. I give this tour 10/10. And next time I'm in the area (which I hope is soon) I would not hesitate for a second to book another tour through them. Great company!

We did the days tour of Cotswold with Gocotswold tours.
It was amazing so well conducted n organised from the the time we booked the tour till the end. We were shown all the beautiful places. Mark our guide was just fantastic! He took such good care of us n briefed us in detail of our tour. All the information provided was very useful n precise. We were 14 of us in the bus but he remembered our names from the time he met us. Hats off to him such an asset to the company.
Anyone visiting Cotswold should use this tour its so worth the amount you pay. Would definitely recommend them to my family n friends. They are too good overall.

Great Day Tour

We really enjoyed our day tour with Colin on May 7
Lisa was helpful and we received prompt assistance with our booking. Colin picked us up at the train station, but kindly dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the tour. The bus was comfortable, with a total of 16 guests.
Colin was easy to hear, friendly and provided a perfect mix of information, history, humour and quiet time on the bus. We were given an information booklet which included maps of the larger villages that we were visiting. On arrival to each village he again gave us great directions, how to utilize our time and suggestions for places to eat.
He was prompt and punctual. He remembered (from our correspondence)where we were from and that we had been waiting for 2 years to go on this trip, which we thought was a nice personal touch.
It was a very enjoyable day, a great way to see the Cotswolds and great value for the money.

Worth the time and money!

Mark was a great tour guide. Sites were incredible. Definitely worth the day. I would suggest a grab and go lunch in stow on wold so you have more time to explore the town.

Thank you so much for your lovely review Travis! It was such a pleasure to have you and your family on our tour recently, and I'm so pleased to hear that you thought our tour was great value! Your tip is an excellent one for future travellers: we have around 1 hour 10 minutes in Stow-on-the-Wold, so if you can resist the wonderful pubs and restaurants for your lunch and choose a cafe/tearoom lunch or take-out instead (we love Cotswolds Baguettes!) then you will have much more time to explore Stow-on-the-Wold's incredible sights, including of course the famous 'Tolkien door'!

Beautiful day in the country

I attended this tour as a single. Our group had a wonderful time with Tom. He has a wealth of information on The Cotswolds and was happy to answer questions. I think there were 4 stops, with time to explore. We also went through at least 5 more picturesque villages. I would highly recommend this tour. They also worked with me to be dropped off in the village with my accommodations. A really nice day out.

What a lovely review, thank you so much Carolyn! As we provide small group tours, we get a lot of solo travellers - which we absolutely love because Tom and I (the owners of Go Cotswolds) were both solo travellers when we met each other in a backpacker's hostel in Argentina many moons ago! We just love being able to provide an affordable day tour for solo travellers without any single supplements and without having to hire a whole vehicle to yourself. Although we don't provide a pick-up from Stow-on-the-Wold, which is where you were staying, it's easy to reach Moreton-in-Marsh by bus (or taxi, if you prefer), and we *can* drop you off in Stow-on-the-Wold at the end of the tour, since we pass that way on our return journey. Thank you so much for taking the time to write a lovely review about Go Cotswolds - we really do appreciate it, and we hope you'll be back to visit us again some day!

Amazing tour, it really made us want to spend more time in the area, but this is the best way to spend a day. Colin knew the best spots and we loved every part of the tour- the drives, the views, the shopping. Everything was amazing
