Our tour of the Cotswolds with Ralph was fantastic! He led us through quaint villages to breathtaking sites, manor houses, lovely churches and a peaceful ruin. We stopped for tea and coffee, then lunch, at lovely places along the way. Ralph shared historical facts and interesting stories throughout our tour, and answered all our questions graciously. He was a thoughtful and engaging guide who was nice enough to ask about our interests in the area. We appreciated his enthusiasm and our experience in the Cotswolds was the highlight of our trip!

We just finished our tour with Simon Whittaker (our guide) it was beyond beautiful!!!
Simon is very knowledgeable of the area , extremely pleasant and we strongly recommend him as a guide!!
He took us around the right time , so it would not be crowded and we could tell he really enjoyed showing us the beautiful area where he grew up.
We had a great time and cannot thank Simon enough for a lovely day!!

Fantastic! Jules Landau, our guide, gave us a fun, informative, fascinating tour of the Cotswolds. His choices for stops to explore were very interesting, not overwhelming, and even though it was raining we had a splendid day. Highly recommend!

Wonderful day touring the Cotswold. Jules was informative with the history and we learned a lot about the Cotswolds and King Aethelstan. Amazing day and would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful trip to the hidden Cotswolds with Ralph as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area; very accommodating, picking us up at our location. He also contacted me the day before our trip to discuss details and give us an idea what we would be doing for the day. I won’t divulge the locations we visited because it’s a secret and you’ll be very happy to see such lovely spots! Ralph gave us plenty of time to look around. He gave us the background details about the area which was fascinating for history buffs. We also saw an especially stately home, which was absolutely stunning. And the artwork was mind blowing!
This is really a perfect trip when you don’t have a lot of time or don’t wanna hassle with rental cars and driving but letting someone else show you around. I certainly did not want to attempt to drive around myself as an US driver! Ralph is an excellent and safe driver who inspired confidence and made us feel safe and secure. It was just an important concern for us after our hair raising taxi journey the previous day. Lol I’m so glad we did this journey with Ralph as our guide. I recommend this trip 100%.

Me and my elderly mother took this tour in early July. It turned out to be a wonderful choice for us. The tour was a great mixture of both history, scenic sites, interesting and quirky facts and serveral beautiful villages to enjoy. The tour hade a really good tempo with plenty of time to walk around and perhaps do some shopping or photography.
Our tour guide Jules was a wonderful, funny and kind and he always tried to make sure we had a good time during the tour. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to visit The Cotswolds!

Wonderful day spent with Simon!
We learned so much and had so much fun doing it, Cotswolds were gorgeous, driving the village lanes exciting and picturesque. I highly recommend, small tour so very special.

The tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Bath. I can’t recommend this small independent tour company enough. From the first initial contact to the very last moment our tour guide Jules Landau was just the best.
His wealth of knowledge of the area’s iconic churches and quaint villages is quite impressive. We visited Malmesbury and liitle hamlets like Tiiddlywink and Lacock.
We got lucky as there were only four of us and the tour company didn’t cancel like some of the bigger tour companies would do. Also Jules accommodated our request to take a quick drive up to the Royal Crescent. We hadn’t made it there yet so really appreciated as wasn’t included in the tour we purchased.
I highly recommend using this small hands on tour company. You won’t regret one single moment of it. Especially if you have Jules as your guide. One of the personal touches was the photos he took of us on the way and then shared them with us so we could just relax and take it all in.

Had a tour and it was great! Our guide was local and incredibly knowledgeable, personable and made this our favorite day on our trip to England. He took us places we never would have seen had we been left to our own devices.

We had a lovely time! An amazing drive through the Cotswolds with a wonderfully informative history and incredible views. We loved Simon who was knowledgeable, courteous and fun. He shared his experience as a local bringing it all into perspective for us. We would recommend In and Beyond Bath and Simon to anyone who was looking for an authentic experience driving through this gorgeous area. PS: we were a group of four adults who craved Cotswolds the history lesson.
