Jeg tar deg med på en privat tur for å besøke de mest ikoniske, men veldig forskjellige strukturene i Skottland, som begge på noen måte er koblet til kanalene i dette landet. De er veldig unike for Skottland, rike på historie, kultur og ingeniørundervisning. Det er verdt å nevne her at de også er unike over hele verden, ettersom du aldri vil se noe lignende overalt i verden. Kanalene i dette landet er Storbritannias kulturarv, og byggingen av Falkirk Wheel var ikke bare en milepæl i kanalenes historie, men beviste også oppfinnsomheten til ingeniørene i dette landet. Begge landemerker er en feiring av hardt arbeid og har dyp historisk betydning bak seg.

Our family of seven took DreamChaser Adventurers tour along with one other gentleman.
Our driver instructed us into the van, acting like he was in a great hurry.
He drove recklessly at high speeds on rain soaked roads, increasing the impression that he was in a "rush" to be somewhere else. He never told us his name until I asked him upon arriving at the Wheel. He said it was "Fennants" like tenants?
He gave us little information at either sight. He acted like he was doing us a big favor by letting us stay to watch the wheel rotate.
He gave us only 25 minutes at the Kelpies and then rushed us back to the starting point and dumped us off 1 hour before the tour was supposed to end.
The Trip Advisor website clearly states it is a 4 hour tour https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g186534-d19495044-Visit_the_Two_Most_Iconic_Landmarks_of_Scotland-Glasgow_Scotland.html
The other complainants were misinformed, the advertisement did not include the opportunity to ride the wheel.
Though there were other positive reviews for other drivers who were named
we did not have this information before we signed up in order to request one of them.
Our conclusion: It would have been cheaper, less stressful and better quality to have booked an Uber and bought a Tour book.

It seems that we need to clarify the details of our tour again, as the date and content of the tour are not clear to some!
This excursion always starts at 1 pm and lasts until 4 pm! Which means that it ends at 4 o'clock, so the length of the tour is not 4 hours, but around 3 hours, that is, from 1 to 4!
Punctuality is expected from everyone and it is recommended to be there on time, because we leave at exactly 1 o'clock and it is good if the guest is there at least 10 minutes before and if you have any questions, you can ask them before departure!
These guests of ours already arrived late and we had to wait even longer because not all guests were there on time! There, they messaged each other on the phone about where they should go! Our other guest had to wait for them because they weren't punctual and they didn't even care about being late, they didn't even apologize!
Well, if we start late, there will be less time left for the tour! We have another trip starting at 4 o'clock and we have to get back on time so as not to keep our other guests waiting!
These guests waited for the Falkirk Wheel to turn twice, which takes more time. Just when we were about to leave, one of the ladies announced that she had to go to the bathroom! We were there for quite a long time and it didn't go that far! It wasn't enough that they arrived late, the wheel turned twice, you have to wait again for the toilet and, of course, again for a long time!
After that, of course, there was less time left for the Kelpies!
During the trip, we mostly drive on a highway and it is not a forest road where we drive slowly, because it is a highway to make traffic faster! In Scotland, if it rains, the world doesn't stop! If this is strange to someone, we can't do anything about it! We drive on the highway, but if it's fast for someone, you can take a bus, train or even a taxi, as the lady mentioned!
Before someone forms an opinion, it would be good to consider your own mistakes first and ask yourself the question of what could be the reason! It is easy to blame the service provider, but it would be good to read the details of the tour in detail and to be there on time, and that is already a good start!
By the way, the guest claims that we got back an hour earlier, which is a complete lie! We got back much later because of their irresponsible behavior and inaccuracy!
During the tour, if you could sometimes look at the clock, it would also help a lot to make it clear how much time we have left!
We hope that the person is much more organized in his own life and gives herself/himself 1 star so quickly for his/her own mistake! Good luck in life!

I think the guides last job was as F1 racing driver. Make sure you strap in!!
The visit to the Kelpies involved a brisk 20 minute walk there and back - unfortunately I dont do brisk 40 minute walks anymore - all to save £3 by not using the official [nearer] car park.
This is not a leisurely trip. Felt I was being hurried along all the time. Probably cheaper to take a black cab from Glasgow
It would have been nice if the boat trip at the Falkirk wheel had been included

The fact that someone is old and very slow is completely acceptable and understandable, but the fact that the person is rude and cynical is unacceptable! In the description of the tour, it is not mentioned anywhere that the boat tour at the Fakirk Wheel is included in the price or that we have time for that, but it is clearly visible that it is only a three-hour tour! The person would have claimed this as well, but this is not included in our offer!
After a short walk at the Kelpies, he got so tired that he asked us to go closer by car because it was a tiring trip for him! We did it, but we can't do anything about it if someone is old and weak. On the way back, he asked us to take him to the train station if possible, which we did, but we do not offer drop off and always we return the guest to the same place where we picked him up! That's not even enough for this person!

Hungarian driver told us he knew nothing about either of these sites. Di d not allow for time to ride the Falkirk wheel. Very pricy tour and very disappointing. Would not recommend this tour at all.

Lying is not a good thing, especially in old age! The tour guide is indeed prepared from both famous tourist spots and would never say that he knows nothing about these important places! We do not tolerate racism at all! In the description of the tour, it is not mentioned anywhere that the boat tour at the Fakirk Wheel is included in the price or that we have time for that, but it is clearly visible that it is only a three-hour tour! The person would have claimed this as well, but this is not included in our offer!

We were rushed at The Kelpies. We were given 45 minutes to walk quite a distance to see them and walk back again. No time to go to gift shop or inspect The Kelpies properly.

Well, if we calculate that the journey there is 45 minutes, and the journey back is also 45 minutes, it means that it takes exactly 45 minutes for the Falkirk Wheel and 45 minutes for the Kelpies! If we spend more time in the first place, then there is less time left for the second place! I don't even understand how, if someone books a 3-hour trip, how can they think they can stay in one place longer than that? I recommend that like-minded guests do not book this excursion because this is not a math lesson!

Driver was very polite and pleasant but we felt rushed. We were given only 45 minutes to see Kelpies and we had a long walk there and back.

We were on a waitlist for May 5 (Regal Princess) and luckily were able to reserve a tour. Service and communication were great from start to finish and we want to recognize Karen for making the tour truly unforgettable! She was very informative and funny! .

Is the tour departure time of 1pm flexible? My flight lands at 12.30pm and I am looking at a tour departure time of 1415HRs fpr 1xadult. May you confirm if the departure time change is possible for this private tour?
