Start reisen på Alsace Wine Route Ater, en 105 kilometer lang strekning av naturskjønne vei ved foten av fjellkjeden Vosges. Nyt panoramautsikt over vintreet dekket bakker og rødt takte, eventyr hjem tucked i dalen. Din første stopp er i Mittelbergheim, hvor du smaker Alsatian-viner som kan inkludere Pinot Blanc, Sylvaner og Riesling. As paisagens, as cidades são charmosas e acolhedoras. Fomos em novembro, fora da estação, mas foi ótimo mesmo assim.

We showed up at the specified meeting point and found out that we were the only two people signed up for the tour. I appreciate that the tour operator, Ophorus, went ahead with the tour. It could not have been very profitable for them. Our guide, Jerome, was outstanding. As an experienced sommelier, he was very well versed on the subject of wines without being pretentious. We enjoyed a wonderful day visiting three wineries - some traditional and others more modern. Each winery provided some history on their business and a sampling of their wines. I learned more about wines in this tour than I have on any other. At the end of each stop, there was the opportunity to purchase some of the wines without any sales pressure. It was a little overwhelming visiting three wineries in one day. But, this tour also afforded us the opportunity to visit and have lunch and in Ribeauvillé. It was truly an enjoyable day and an educational experience.

From the prompt pick up at an easy to access point, to the delightful drive through the most picturesque villages, to the stops at a variety of wineries ( small and family operated, mid sized organic, larger with wider variety ) this was absolutely a day to remember! Our guides Thierry and Pauline were interpersonally wonderful, professionally knowledgeable and very attentive. Wholeheartedly recommend this day out .

Had a fantastic time wine tasting in the Alsace region! We went to 3 wineries. The first one was Noelle Banchert. That was probably our favorite since the wine was delicious, the tasting was outside in the backyard, and we got to meet the wine maker which was very special. The second one was slightly larger and still very delicious. We had a few hours to wander around the beautiful village of Ribeauville for lunch. Our final stop was a more modern winery that was also very nice. Our guide was extremely knowledge about the wines, how to better understand the wine labels, and the history of the region. Although I’ve been to Alsace before I hadn’t been to these wineries or the village before. They’ve already started harvest season so the wineries depend on availability. I’d highly recommend this tour of you’re in this region!

Pauline was an absolutely wonderful guide — one of the best I’ve ever had. Super upbeat, friendly, informative, clearly loves what she does and knows the area well, translates from French to English at the wineries perfectly, is a great driver, etc.
On our whole-day wine trip from Strasbourg, Pauline took us to 2 lovely wineries in the morning — both super cute and with great wines to try. Then she took us to a little village for lunch, and a third winery after. My only criticism would be that the third winery felt like it was in the back of someone’s house — and not at all picturesque or pretty. The wines were just as good as anywhere else we went, so not a huge standout there. Maybe they picked it because of a connection to the owner — but the vibe was just a bit of a downer — especially after lunch. Having traveled this far, I really wanted all the places to at least be enjoyable/memorable aesthetically and somewhere we’d want to take pictures.

This was a small group tour with a quality vehicle and a great guide who knew heaps about wines and the wineries we visited. Robin guided expertly through the various wine types and methods used in the area. The three wineries we visited were very different - and each opened our eyes. The village where we were given two hours for lunch and browsing was picture perfect. Highly recommend

Very pleasant day touring Alsace wine region. Our guide, Pauline, was very pleasant and enthusiastic. Our stop at Andre Durrmann’s (a wine guru) winery was particularly interesting as we learned a lot about local organic practices. All the wines we tasted were excellent and it was nice to visit small independent wineries which gave us a feel for the winemaker’s lifestyle that you don’t get at the larger producers.

The trip was beautiful, interesting & educational. The only downside was we inly drove through small towns, no stopping to walk around and explore. The original itinerary stated we would have lunch in Riquewihr and that was the main reason I booked this particular tour, to see that village. Our tour guide took us to another village for lunch and we never visited Riquewihr. So that was upsetting.

We loved our very pleasant guide who made every effort to take good care of us. The selection of wineries was varied and their presentations were each unique. I liked that because we learned something new and different with each tasting. Thank you for a wonderful day and for shipping my wine purchases!

2 of our winery visits were with the winemakers themselves, allowing for in depth conversations about the wine making process. I learned a lot! And the wines were great also.

This looks perfect for us. Is there a possibility of making a stop in Barr to the Leipp/Leininger winery for a tasting with Luc Leininger from 11am to 12pm on Monday , April 10?
We discovered we may have a family connection and have made an appointment to taste in this small spot. We would graciously go to your destinations of choice if this location could be added for an hour.
