- elino49300Spennende og innholdsrik (litt lang) tour!Mye interessant å se og mye interessant informasjon! Men litt for lang tour og litt mye informasjon presset inn på for liten tid. Lurt med hodetelefoner lydmessig. Det gjør forøvrig noe med gruppedynamikken og fellesskapet i gruppa.
- RandiIreneSelS00Flott tur opplevelseVi møtte opp i god tid før oppmøte tidspunkt, ca 45 min før. Det anbefales da det er en utfordring å finne parkering. Alt gikk fint i forhold til oppmøte og informasjon. Mye venting før turen skulle starte. Mange grupper som skulle starte nesten samtidig. Dyktig guide som var med gruppen hele tiden, god informasjon underveis med spennende historie. Fantastisk natur, selv med enorme høyder langs stupbratte fjell føltes det trygd å gå og vil si at det passer for alle. Rolig tempo med flere stopp underveis. Etter endt tur var det et stykke å gå for å ta buss tilbake til utgangspunktet. Man må påberegne noe venting da bussen går hver halv time. Husk munnbind og kontanter til bussen. Vi trodde bussturen var inkludert, men det var det ikke. 2,5 euro pr. person. Vi hadde ikke kontanter, men fikk tatt ut penger i kiosken like ved. Anbefaler denne flotte opplevelsen til alle😊

The tour is not worth the time and money. Many things were poor, including:
-Communication was very poor. I had to contact the Seville office 3 times on the prior day before I finally got confirmation of the pickup time and location for our tour. We were dropped off at our hotel in El Rocio and told that someone from another agency would pick us up at 8 at our hotel. They had to call us in the morning to find out which hotel we were at, and we stored our luggage in their van. Then, after the morning tour, we were brought back to El Rocio with no idea what was planned for the afternoon or how we were to get back to Seville. Fortunately, an agent from the other company called Naturanda and told us that we would be picked up by another Naturanda tour guide at our hotel. We walked back to our hotel with our luggage. Also, we were never asked if there was anything in particular we were interested in, such as bird watching.
--The items promised online were not provided or lacking in quality. We didn't get to use binoculars until the afternoon of the second day, and then they were poor quality. The hotel we stayed at in El Rocio did not offer breakfast and didn't even have coffee or tea available in the morning. There was a sister hotel that did offer breakfast for 7 EUR.
---There was too much driving around, and in a beat-up van, not a 4x4. The first day we shared the tour with an older couple that weren't interested in any walking or exploring nature. The second morning we went looking for lynx, with no sightings unfortunately, although the guide knew where to look for them, yet after an hour or so we kept driving around in the dust and dirt.
----The park has been severely impacted by lack of rain and diversion of water for farming. Much of the tour is driving through parched, sandy landscape.
-----When we did get to a lagoon with birds, it was just a pit stop. There were two locations where there were good opportunities to observe water birds, and the tour didn't include any time or equipment to enjoy them. Note: on the second afternoon our tour guide, Jose, was a birder and we did get to spend some time in a couple of hides watching the birds. It helped that the other couple were also interested in bird watching.
-------Language was an issue. The older couple on the first day were Spanish and our Spanish is limited so we couldn't communicate with them and were often left out of conversations with the guide. In the morning of the second day, the other couple was French, and our guide had to navigate between Spanish, French and English. She tried hard to make it work but it was challenging. Finally, the afternoon of the second day we shared the tour with an English couple and the guide spoke good English.
There were some good things too...
*We went to the Atlantic for lunch both days, the food was good, and the cool ocean breeze was welcomed
**The afternoon of the second day was good because the tour guide and the other couple were interested in and had knowledge of bird watching.
Overall, a two-day tour involves too much time in this area. Someone who was interested in bird watching here could just spend a night in El Rocio, walk to the lagoon, and see birds and wild horses feeding at dusk.

Don’t do the two day tour. We got dumped back in Ricios at noon of the second day with no way back to Seville. Apparently we may be able to repeat the afternoon part of yesterday’s tour, but who wants to that.
Also, the words you will hear mostly on the second day are “this used to be a marsh”, now a barren area due to drought. Wait until it rains again.
Communication has been difficult and offerings disappointing, esp for two day (which is not two day)

Visita agradable de varios lugares del parque nacional de Doñana hasta las playas del Atlántico con un excelente guía que habla bien el francés y que nos aprende muchas informaciones en relación con los animales y la historia de este parque.
