    Flott show. Kan ikke så mye om dans ol., men det var et veldig kjekt og interessant for oss. Veldig dyrt i baren.

We nearly didn't go

We had purchased tickets for the Gran Gala Flamenco well in advance of our stay in Barcelona, but the performance ended up being on the same night as the Euro finals with Spain being one of the teams. The game was being shown on screens in many of the plazas in Barcelona with thousands of fans gathering to celebrate. But my grandkids were on the trip, and since they had never seen a Flamenco performance or been to the Palau de la Música Catalana, we decided to attend. I'm glad we did, and we even made in back to our apartment in time to watch the last forty-five minutes of the match on TV. It was a fun performance, and the grandkids (ages thirteen, twelve, and ten) loved it. I was surprised that there were only three dancers, one male and two females. I have attended a Flamenco dinner performance before in Madrid and there were six or seven dancers involved, and even here on Tripadvisor I see photos of four women and two men performing. Even though there were only three dancers, they were great, and I admire their stamina because they were "cutting the rug." The music (singing and instrumentation) was good, with the Flamenco guitarist being great. And what can you say about the beautiful architectural setting of the Palau de la Música Catalana except stunning? I had been there before, and that was one of the main reasons I wanted my son and his family to attend a performance there. And Spain won the Euros.

Not an essential thing to do

Impressive modern flamenco show
This is the most modern and unique flamenco show I have seen in Barcelona. Traditional flamenco techniques have been infused with brand new modern stage lighting art and modern stage art, propelling this Spanish artistic heritage to new heights. It made me realize that flamenco art is constantly changing and evolving with the times. Although it has not strayed from the unique style of flamenco, it truly offers the audience a completely new experience and feeling. The guitarist’s outstanding performance is worth mentioning here; his masterful technique was deeply impressive, as expected from such a highly skilled master. If you are interested in flamenco guitar playing, then don’t miss this flamenco show!

Great ambience. Great show. Attention when choosing a seat.
Beautiful ambience. Very good show with great dancers and musicians. Unfortunately poor visibility - half nothing seen. Overall result very highly dependent on seat selection

Poor customer service
Unfortunately, do to our flight being delayed for an entire day, we were unable to attend the show. The vendor for the ticket said they would only allow us to exchange the ticket for another evening performance even though my request for refund informed him that our time in Barcelona would not allow for it and my request was made more than 24 hours in advance for a sold out show. I do not believe the vendor would have had any trouble reselling the seats. Poor customer service.

As you mentioned, we do offer the option to change the date of your reservation so our clients can adjust their plans if needed. In this case, you opted not to proceed with a date change. As you can see from other reviews, we do not typically receive complaints like yours. We successfully manage date changes for reservations daily without issues. Amazing! A must-see!

Our visit was semi-last minute yet somehow we were able to get seats very close to the stage, albeit at the far side. What little we were unable to see of the musicians on the right was by far made up for by the quality of the music and even more by the dancers. Absolutely amazing show! I don't know what I was expecting but I was blown away! Highly recommended! A must-see!

Wonderful what we could see of it.

The dancing was incredible. We missed half of the show because the address given was wrong, making it difficult to find. When we called for help, we were told to use Google maps. I was extremely disappointed that the front-row seats, which I specifically bought to see the footwork, were BELOW THE STAGE so we couldn't see the entire stage - most importantly, we could not see the dancers' feet. The booking should have provided that information.
