We had an amazing tour with Elvira! We did the 10 tasting market tour but also got some history and highlights of Barcelona. Elvira was great at explaining the history of the markets and the neighborhoods we visited. She also quickly learned what we liked and didn’t like. She has us trying authentic and local bites that we would most likely not order on our own. She went above and beyond and sent us a list of everything we ate plus recommendations of what to try and where to go. We ate at one of her recommended restaurants and had amazing food.

The enthusiastic, vibrant energy, and knowledge of Elvira made this tour awesome. Our tour was very organized, and what we appreciated was the ton of info of the locals- where they eat, shop, their history, what tourist- trap places to avoid, all the info of must see, eat, and do while in Barcelona, and more. All the food and drinks we had were all so goooddd!! We appreciated her so much. Thank you Elvira. We’ll always remember you!

Last month we were very fortunate to take a market tour with Bianca. Due to some issues (ours - not hers) she kindly adjusted the tour. I think we had a better time on our adjusted tour than we would have on our original market tour! Bianca was lovely to spend time with and went out of her way to share her favorite experiences and restaurants in Barcelona. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with her to enhance your visit to this wonderful city.

Great way to understand the history of a few of the different food markets and parts of the city, but not a ton of eating compared to other food tours we have done. It was more like the occasional bite in the food market.
Moises our guide was one of the best tour guides we have had in our travels around the world. He gave us a ton of tips on restaurants and bars to check out after the tour which was also helpful. We ended up going to a number of these recommendations.
Would I do this again, probably not but tour guides like Moises help raise the level of experiences like this one.

Our guide Federico truly enhanced our experience by tailoring the trip to us. His knowledge of the city enriched our journey with enlightening insights as we walked to each destination. By the end of our tasting tour, not only were we well fed, but we also had valuable recommendations for our remaining time in Barcelona. Starting our vacation this way was a great decision and a highlight for us and our kids. I’d highly recommend it, ideally early in your trip.

My friends & I travel a lot & frequently take tours. Our Market Tour with Sebastian was beyond our expectations. Sebastian was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable & adaptable. Our first tastings were cod 3 different ways, 2 days later we are still arguing over which preparation was better. He adjusted the tour based on our interests & brought up relevant local & historical knowledge of the area & the food. We left the tour full of food & with wonderful memories. We had a wonderful time & cannot wait to come back to Barcelona to tour more local food destinations with Sebastian.

We had a lovely time with Ivanna who personalized her planned outing to fit our needs. We combined a trip to Casa Mila with a stop at a tapas restaurant where she pointed us to some of her favorite choices and directed us to her favorite churro stop on our way back to the hotel. She was very personable and lively and full of informational tidbits to enhance our walk. She also offered useful perspectives to the photographer in our group. We booked her directly though the withlocals website which offered a significant savings.

We had a great experience exploring the food and Jewish history of Barcelona with Ilona. While the food aspect was fun and yummy, the Jewish component was very special. She went out of her way to research certain aspects of the history to enhance our tour. She even regrouped with us a second day so that we could experience some things that were closed on the Saturday we originally booked. She was smart and pleasant and flexible and interesting. I would highly recommend her.
