The person whom we were looking with our name was hard to find. The paper with out name was covered by another paper so it could not be seen. The meeting person did not know which dock to go and did not walk with us to the dock. Upon finding the dock the other person had to call for a taxi and it was not ready. It should have been more organized and much better service for the high price we pay.

transfert horrible+++++je pourrais mettre 0/5, entassés en fond de cale, on a cette impression. Tous les sièges sont en dessous, sans vue , sans air, les fenêtres sont bien plus hautes que les passagers, tout le monde est sur son portable. Un comble pour un trajet (1h30) (15 euros)en bateau autour de Venise , par temps magnifique, seuls les pilotes et personnels (d'ailleurs très malpolis) ont la vue et l air marin de leur cabine, située plus haute que le chargement;on supporte egalement leur musique à fond tout le trajet , avec en plus l odeur de gazoil des moteurs. Là dessus pas de toilette!!!! jamais vu ça pour des trajets aussi longs avec enfants, malades potentiellement sans fenêtre. pas de place ,pour les valises , alors que c est un transfert aéroport! bref rien n est bien . il faut acheter des tickets ds un kiosque, au moment du depart alors que le personnel nous a repondus par deux fois, que c etait dans le bateau direct..; bref c est comme si les bateaux mouches etaient fermès sans fenêtre , sans wc.(envie de pipi++++) Sans oublier que les bateaux sont bondés , pleins à craquer , mieux vaut ne pas clostro. A fuir! si je reviens à Venise, sans aucun doute, je prendrai les vaporettos , pour aller jusquà la gare pour y prendre le bus qui met 20 mn jusqu'à l aeroport. AU moins en vapo, on profite et on n est pas malade.

Servicio de tranporte poco fiable , compramos billete de ida y vuelta del aeropuerto a Venecia con la linia Naranja (aunque los barcos de esta linia son pequeños no ves nada en todo el trayecto) ,la ida correcta , para la vuelta fuimos con antelacion a la parada de M dell Orto porque ya habiamos visto el dia antes que a un pasajero no lo cojieron por lleno, nos paso lo mismo ni el primer barco ni el segundo nos cojieron por llenos , tuvimos que ir a coger un taxi. O sea buscate otra opcion porque te puedes quedar tirado.

We booked a private transfer and they never showed up. We waited around for an hour, and they never arrived, or called. Save your money and book at the airport from the very nice people in the arrivals. They have been refusing to refund us too!

This airport transfer was booked shortly before our trip as a surprise for my Mother. Whilst there was a 20 minute delay to await for the speedboat to arrive the host was attentive and polite and remained with us until the boat arrived.
The transfer was as expected until the time came to disembark. The boat pulled into a jetty where it was not possible to get the boat any closer than 3ft from the jetty, the boat was also 8-10 inches lower than the jetty itself. My 80 year Mother was terrified at prospect of having to stand int he too of the boat in rough water whilst also trying to jump across the gap and up onto the jetty. The guy who was the driver of the speedboat was very rude, impatient and aggressive shouting at her to “get on with it”, “this is Venice. Get used to it” and “the water is not very deep anyway” followed by if she didn’t get out of the boat quickly he would drive her back to the airport and she could go home again. Despite the fact she was physically shaking from head to foot this barrage of abuse continued for 10 minutes. Eventually another boat driver arrived and reassured her and assisted in her disembarking from the boat. By this time she was crying and very physically shaken by the whole experience!!

Could you please give us more information about the time/date of your transfer? we would like to investigate more on the matter. Our company mission is to deliver a great transportation service and we dissociate from rude behaviours.
Unfortunately transports in Venice are complicated and this is due to the nature of the city. It was probably low tide and getting off the taxi could have been trickier for an older person but we cannot do much about it.

Zero stars? Yes, I also agree with HipHipHops review... i selected the full service transfer.
I was supposed to have been helped at the airport by staff and drive me to the port to catch a private water taxi, and then accompanied me to the hotel.
What happened?
1- no one showed up at the airport
2- no one drove us to the port, we had to walk
3- at the port, i had to find a port manager and asked about our taxi.
4- port manager called and said our water taxi should arrive in 20 minutes.
5- when the taxi arrived, the boat captain said it was a shared taxi... not a private taxi.
6- i went and argued with the port manager and he called again, and after a while of arguing... (why would I pay 230 euros for a shared taxi when a private one here at the dock costs only 130 euros?).
7- i was then called a priavte water taxi.
The awful part was that my kids first impression of Italy was bad. They thought pick pockets could be an issue after the flood of 2019 and the 2020 covid that shut down venice.
They now realized that the legit businesses that survived were now doing bait and switch tactics, over charging and being difficult... all because of greed and crappy management.
I may not come back until things get better, but for now, avoid this option if you want to get a water taxi. Instead, walk to the port from the airport and order a private taxi for a much cheaper price. These clowns don't deserve your business.

Zero star if there is an option for that. Booked with this company via Viator and paid over $380 for an arrival transfer with guide for my elderly parents. I didn't mind paying more for a guide to assist my parents with their luggage and ensure they arrive safely. Yet, these guys never showed up so my parents waited for an hour at the arrival hall. They checked all the signs and none had their names on it. I called Viator to try and reach these guys but they are unreachable. Couple that with a very unstable VOIP connection in Venice made matters even worse. It brought a lot of unnecessary stress for me and my parents even before our vacation started. So, after waiting an hour, my parents went and got their own water taxi as I had to instruct them how to do it over the phone.
After my parents arrived, I spent hours on the phone with Viator letting them know this vendor did not show. But it seems these guys are denying that fact. At this point, it's not even about the money anymore. I paid for a service, and they did not deliver. They had my elderly parents wander around at the airport needlessly for 1.5 hours. This is unacceptable! I will go through all channels to pursue a full refund, even if I need to take legal actions.
Do yourself a favor and don't book arrival transfer with these guys. When they don't show, it truly ruins your vacation. You can get a water taxi at the airport directly, and it will only take half an hour at most.
This operator also offers other tours around the city as well. I'd think twice before booking anything with these guys given their lack of professionalism and seems to also lie about providing a service that they did not. Avoid them at all cost.

la première fois que nous avons visité Venise nous avons pris le bus + le vaporetto
pratique et pas cher; nous avons voulu cette fois essayer Alilaguna ligne orange ; bien qu'arrivés 1/2 heure en avance sur le départ la file d'attente pour le bateau était déjà complète !! le bateau suivant étant 1 heure plus tard on nous a conseillé de prendre la ligne bleue (moins pratique pour notre Hotel) mais nous avons fait ainsi ...
l'attente est très longue heureusement il faisait beau, par temps de pluie cela ne doit pas être très drôle car on doit attendre dans la file pour ne pas perdre sa place ...
le voyage est plus long que par le bus, et ne présente pas d'intérêt, les hublots étant positionnés très haut on ne peut voir que le ciel,
le voyage retour a été stressant car comme il n'y a qu'une navette par heure il ne faut pas se louper d'autant qu'il y a du monde sur le ponton et que cela se bouscule entre passager ..
bref aucun , aucun intérêt à prendre la ligne Alilaguna pour se rendre à venise depuis l'aéroport, préférez le bus suivi du vaporetto .. bon voyage

Hello there - it says in the additional information that the price is per person - but I've added 4 adults and the price remains about £200? Please could someone clarify?
Yes, that would be correct I believe - the price is for the hire of the motor boat, which will take up to a maximum of 6 passengers and 1 item of hand luggage each. It is pricey, but it is the only way to arrive in Venice - absolutely thrilling ‘James Bond’ style!

If you are taking a private transfer and it is only you, they would likely have zero problem with an extra bag. The boats easily handle 6 people plus luggage.

Hello Teresa,
I am not sure what they charge for excess baggage. We were a family of 5 with 5 large suitcases, a large duffel bag and 5 backpacks. It did not seem to be a problem and nothing was said. Their website mentions one suitcase and one carry on per person. There is a note if there is extra baggage beyond that is to call them and ask. They may or may not allow it depending on the group size. Hope that helps.
