Lidia was our guide. Her English was excellent and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. The 2 hr walking tour is very interesting and we certainly visited areas we might not have discovered on our own. The street where the ladies sit outside making orecchiette is so quaint! We were treated to a delicious ice cream on the way. When the walking tour ended, our group went on to a local's humble dwelling, where we were greeted by Porzia. She expertly taught us how to make orrecchiette, then treated us to a plate of pasta with tomato sauce & cheese. It was fun, different and I totally recommend this tour. If you choose this tour, it's worth doing the last bit of pasta making, as it's optional.

Me and my friend were looking for something fun to do in Bari that was also quite informative. Found this by accident and we are extremely glad we did! Our guide was Carlotta and she was amazing. Spoke so many languages (all of them perfectly), was charismatic, funny and just a sweetheart :) the walking part was the right amount of time and there was water and even a sweet surprise included. The pasta class was also wonderfull and the nonna just absolutely hilarious! 10/10 🫶🏻

Die Veranstalter sind sehr freundlich, aber die Tour ist das Geld nicht wert.
Wir wurden durch die Altstadt gehetzt, durften uns dann bei Carmella an Pasta versuchen. Anschliessend hat jede/r hat ein Tellerchen Pasta und ein Gläschen Essig (Rotwein) bekommen. Danach ging es zurück durch die Altstadt, begleitet von ein paar halbherzigen Erläuterungen. Eine Kirche „durften“ wir während 10 Minuten besichtigen (Eintritt war frei). Wir haben uns dann abgehängt.

Dear Gili, the true value of this experience lies precisely in the authenticity that is experienced in the moments of preparing typical Apulian pasta with the lady who teaches us how to do it and with the moment wich we tasting it in a convivial atmosphere.

This was the highlight of our visit to Venice. Our guide was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable not only with the stops and route but with Food and Wine. Highly recommend this tour.

Really enjoyable. Thought Lydia was an excellent guide & going in to an expert local’s home to make pasta ourselves was a great way to round it off. Thoroughly recommend if you are new to Bari.

I went with friends and I really recommend this to anyone who is in the city just for a couple of days - wine and pasta experience were great, as well as gelato experience, the guide Chiara was very nice and so well informed about the town's history! Thank you<3
