Renata gave a very insightful tour of different periods of art history and the artists behind them. Her tour spoke of not only art history but the history behind the powerful families in Italy who commissioned many of the famous art pieces.

Le informazioni ricevute una volta effettuato l'acquisto tramite Booking sono assolutamente insufficienti. Trovare la guida (per la consegna dei biglietti) è una specie di caccia al tesoro.
Ma la cosa più grave è aver pagato 39 euro a testa (due adulti + due ragazzini di 11 e 13 anni; totale 156 euro) per entrare esattamente come/con tutti gli altri visitatori (ingresso n.1), facendo una coda chilometrica.
Se avessi acquistato i biglietti in via ordinaria avrei pagato 48euro (gratis sotto i 18 anni).
Servizio completamente difforme. Ovviamente non finisce qui...

Bellissima visita agli Uffizi, con la guida Ana Kinhaswihli. Competenza, passione, capacità di incuriosire ci hanno tenuto (tutto il gruppo) attenti per due ore di fila, senza pausa. Grazie alle sue descrizioni vivide non abbiamo avvertito la noia nemmeno nella lunga attesa per l'ingresso alla quale tutti i gruppi sono stati sottoposti il 2 gennaio a causa dell'enorme afflusso. Notevole!

We did this tour this morning with Gabriele (I hope I have spelt that correctly) and he was really good - very friendly, very knowledgeable and a bit of a laugh.
We chose the tour because of the following:
1. peak season so skip the line makes such a difference
2. I am the only one in my family crazy about art history but I wanted the others to experience one of the world's greatest galleries and see some famous works of art in person.
3. so 1.5 hours was the perfect opportunity to do all that without overkill. And our tickets meant that if I wanted to I could stay in the gallery for the rest of the day - winning all round!
Thanks for a great tour that met our needs perfectly!

Even if you are in the city for a few hours or half a day, it is an experience that you should have. So many masterpieces of the great masters of art are gathered in this imposing building and at the same time you have a great view of the river and its bridges as well as of the city. Definitely a must.

For the price of almost $200 for three people I found it a bit low on the bang for the buck. I listened to Rick Steve's free web radio (others are out there) and while it didn't beat the guide in terms of detail, it was almost there. I would search a bit for a iPhone based tour with reviews and use it. Lines were not a problem in March and you can always rep-purchase tickets online and skip the line yourself.

The Uffizi Gallery is as badly organized as any museum I have ever been to and one is practically forced to book through a tour operator (unless you reserve with the Gallery weeks in advance). Tour operators pretty much scoop up all the inventory tickets and individuals dont have chance of getting in unless ones waits hours in line. Would be good for someone to investigate whats going on.
Any case, we booked two tickets with CAF and were put in a group with some 30+ people. It was so badly organized that we lost half the group before even entering and a good number of the headsets they gave did not work either. The tour was supposed to last two hours but the guide dismissed as in about an hour.
Do yourself a favor and dont use them.

Dear Krobaer,
we are sorry that you didn’t appreciate our Uffizi Gallery guided tour but after looking into the point stressed by you, it’s necessary to clarify as follows:
your disappointment about the way how the Uffizi is managed and organized it has nothing to do with our company and the service you have booked. Your expectations failed mainly due to a certain lack of awareness that the Uffizi museum is one of the most popular and visited museum in the world and unfortunately, despite our reservation, during periods of increased inflow of visitors, the admission to the museums may be subject to delays not depending on us but due to security reasons (security control at the entrance and maximum number of people simultaneously admitted inside the museum) for which the access to the museum is regulated according to the number of people inside it. This is clearly specified on our general conditions, too.
Furthermore, we point out that the guided visit it doesn't last two hours contrary to what you state, this has never been advertised on our side and our group size was not of 30 people as at the Uffizi gallery the groups over 25 people are not allowed.
About the headsets, we have had no reports of bad working from our customers, maybe in your case there were some interferences with other channels and in such a case you could inform our guide so that she could replace your radio with another one.

I wished I would have read up a little more about the Medici family as well as some of the influential artists who's work is displayed. The tour is a bit short and the fact that it can be hard to hear or understand at times did not help to appreciate the museum or works of art. Maybe familiarizing myself with the museum first would have made the experience better. No doubt getting a tour helps get you a spot in the museum, although we were there Sept 7 it was busy but not to the point we could not have gotten in. I would have probably gone to a morning tour and then be able to go back and look around after the tour was over. Our tour finished right when the museum was closing.

We basically paid €80 for someone to buy us 2 x €20 tickets, when we arrived at 9am as instructed in the booking we were told they had overbooked and for us to come back at 10:45am.. when we did, it was crazy busy.. we were just handed tickets and told to wait in a line to get in 🤔. Not worth the money at all and very misleading.. better to get to the gallery early and buy your own tickets..

Dear Michaela,
let us express our regret for your evaluation of the guided visit booked and expand on the points stressed in your review.
First of all we need to clarify that the overbooking was caused by an electrical black-out which interested the Uffizi Gallery and forced the museum to open later. This entailed that the museum had to redistribute the visitors who booked their entrance in the first part of the morning (as you), in the following hours, being forced for safety reasons to admit only a maximum number of visitors at the same time. This extraordinary event entailed as well that the crowd at the entrance was busier than usual.
With reference to what you booked, we need to specify that your reservation didn't include just the simple admission ticket to the Uffizi Gallery, but a complete service of advanced reservation, ticket delivery with direct access and multilingual assistance. The price that you found on your ticket therefore is just a part of what you paid for. The reservation and assistance service provided by our Company:
- ensures you the admission to the museum (not guaranteed if you should search for a ticket directly at the ticket office, the same day);
- allows you an immediate ticket redemption directly by our Assistant at the entrance of the museum, instead of having to stand on the long line at the ticket office, to exchange your reservation voucher with the real ticket;
- gives you the chance to immediately get to the entrance of the museum, simply having to line in the short queue of the security control.
As per your review, if you would have chosen to simply get to the gallery early and buy your own tickets, this would have entailed:
- having to wait in the line, possibly for hours, without being sure to find a ticket available in the coming hours;
- having to handle a situation much more stressful, made even more complicated because of the black-out issue explained above;
- having in any case to line up at the security control queue, which is managed directly by the staff of the museum and regards every visitor.
