We thoroughly enjoyed all 10 hours of this amazing tour. If you get Antonio as your guide, consider yourself very lucky. One of the very best, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and makes sure your needs are met. He found and stopped at a grove of cork trees just to make sure we could capture these on camera. The tour is super scenic - wonderful wild unspoilt beaches , cliff side views, old forts and castles. Go and you will not regret it.

This is a fabulous full day tour of the more remote parts of the Algarve west coast that few visitors see. We were met by Antonio at our hotel in Lagos at 9am and then collected a further 6 people before heading west to Sagres fortress. The minibus holds 8 passengers and is very comfortable with excellent A/C. We arrived at about 9:30 before it became busy. It was a very hot day with little wind (unusual!). We had about 45 minutes to visit the museum and wander around. Antonio was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the history and the Algarve area. From there we visited Cape St Vincent with its lighthouse - the most westerly point of mainland Europe. A little busier here but still before most of the crowds. Then it was off northwards up the west coast visiting a whole series of clifftop viewpoints and beautiful sandy beaches. Some of these were very remote and not visited by tourists. Again Antonio was a mine of information about each area we visited. After the last stop we headed back to Lagos on the main road, reaching our hotel about 4:30pm.
The whole day was a wonderful experience and our guide Antonio, a true gentleman!
If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary, away from the main resorts then you should not hesitate to book this tour. You won’t be disappointed. I suggest booking direct on Antonio’s website for better value and you get 10% discount. One piece of advice is to take note of the weather and dress appropriately. For us it was hot and still but it can be cooler and very windy.
The whole day was a wonderful experience and our guide Antonio, a true gentleman!

Amazing trip to Algarve's most awesome beaches. A must-do trip if you want to see the most amazing cliffs and beaches from Sagres to Aljezur. You get to see places that are quite difficult to reach if not guided by a local expert like Antonio, who was a great guide! He provided us with lots of information during the trip, from historical aspects to cultural ones. I would definitely recommend the trip!

Antonio was a great guide to the West Coast - took us to gorgeous beaches and viewpoints- never rushed us, was very knowledgeable and personable! Thoroughly enjoyed the day! Obrigada!

This was an excellent tour. We went to numerous places that you certainly would not attend on a large bus tour. The ONLY negative was that sitting in the back of the van, it was at times difficult to hear the tour guide --- I am somewhat hard of hearing, and the headset and microphone seemed to pick up the driver's voice somewhat intermittently, so it was not always helpful. Overall though a very interesting day. Very informative and enjoyable.

Hello Jim, thanks for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour with me. About the Microphone - you mentioned that you aren't able to listen on the back and I turned on the Microphone and you said you listen better. It's normal that when driving my head was moving and sometimes the micro move away. The sound was high and everyone was able to hear everything. Next time if you still have the problem with the microphone please asked me to seat near me and then you will hear me better 😁 All the best.

Incredibly good day getting out out the concrete jungle of Algarve. Our amazing guide Gabriel collected me and a lucky few and whisked us to the Wild West Atlantic coast. The most wild unspoilt coastline awaits. Massive cliffs. Towering waves and light patterns. Be prepared to be spell bound. As an Australian this is some of the best coastal scenery I’ve seen. A stop for lunch with local fish was a highlight. A full and amazing day. Highly recommended.

Journée parfaite à la découverte de l’ouest de l’Algarve. Paysages à couper le souffle et découverte d’endroits uniques. Antonio est un guide exceptionnel, passionné, attentionné et aussi, un excellent vulgarisateur. Il sera assurément encore mon choix lors d’un prochain voyage au Portugal.
