We had an excellent experience touring with Pantelis!! He is a great historian and provided excellent overviews of the areas we were visiting. He was also accommodating and made sure we saw everything we wanted. The dinner after the tour was also great. He even helped us out with places to go after the tour ended. It felt like we had family in Greece. I would highly recommend this tour and Pantelis!

Sebastian is the best! The full day private tour was one of the most enjoyable part of the trip to Greece. Sebastian is flexible with the itinerary yet hits all of the attractions. He is very knowledgeable of the sites and the history of the country which makes the trip very educational. My teenage daughters also found the trip to be entertaining and informative. All of us were able to get plenty of pictures throughout the trip as Sebastian stopped at all of the major scenic stops. Meteora was absolutely stunning yet tranquil with its cliffside monasteries. Delphi had a magnetic aura about it and was a site to behold. Thermopylae was a quick trip but a worthwhile spot for fans of the movie, 300, especially with Sebastian's backdrop of the area. A final highlight was dinner at a local restaurant. The local cuisine was delicious and plentiful with homestyle service. The trip is extremely long since so much is covered but time goes quickly. It's a wonderful trip to see the countryside, experience majestic monuments, view panoramic scenery, and taste local cuisine. Ask for Sebastian and he will make this a highlight of your trip.

George was an amazing tour guide and driver. He was punctual, told us about our destinations prior to and during our arrival, so we knew what to look out for. Having a personal tour was worthwhile, as we were able to see so much in just 1 travel day, and we were able to make specific requests such as how much time to spend at certain stops, which monasteries to go to, and ask for short stops for photo opportunities we found along the way. The meal at the end was great. The ride was comfortable and roomy. We are very happy with this tour experience, and we recommend to everyone.

Amazing trip! Sebastian was an excellent guide who made the entire experience excellent. All three of the locations were incredible to see and this tour allows you to see as much as possible in one day. Great food at the end of the tour as well. First class experience.

For those of you looking to go a bit deeper into Greek history and get out of Athens for a bit, this is an amazing experience. Sebastian is too-notch! Penny and I have made a friend today that we will never forget. First of all, he is great driver. Secondly, very knowledgeable and funny and insightful
Be aware, this is a full day— starts at 6am —- drive 3+ hours to Meteora but it did not seem at all like it took this long. The monasteries and Nunnery were striking and the views were breath-taking. We talked and laughed all the time. We had lunch (not included in fee FYI) and quickly moved to Thermophylae to learn of the battle that inspired the movie “300” and feel the hot springs that run thru the battle site.
Then on to Delphi and its incredible museum and ruins
We asked Sebastian to join us for dinner and were thrilled he did at an amazing local place (price included in fee) that he arranged
I would have him take us anywhere in the city Cannot recommend him and this experience highly enough

We had a great time touring around Athens. Sebastian is a great guide. The ride was comfortable with a Mercedes. The places and views are beautiful and amazing. The trip includes a nice seafood dinner that we could not finish all :). Sebastian is very professional and thoughtful. He loves his job which is awesome. We highly recommend it!

We had an amazing day with George. He was extremely professional and provided us with important information at each stop. The highlight of our trip was Meteora and then to end the day, we had a fabulous meal. A+ we couldn’t be happier with our experience and having George as our guide.

we wake up early and drive straight to meteora, allowing us to sleep as Sebastien our driver drove. we saw all the monasteries and he recommended 2 monastery that were easier to climb to see from inside. Took a lunch break and off to thermopolyee and Delphi. Paced nicely for kids to do without getting tired. Had free cold water, snacks and wifi to keep them busy for the drive. We reached athens around 7:30 and had a grand dinner. The tour sound long and we are not morning people but with breaks and ability to sleep in the long spacious van we thoroughly enjoyed it. we were 4 people 2 adults and kids 10 and 12 the price is reasonable considering it saved us a day and repeating the drive up and down with delphi and meteora.

Having only a short time in Athens I was finding the struggle of having to sacrifice two of those days to do a stock standard day tour of Delphi and the same for Meteora.
Thankfully I came across this company (Theodore’s Travel) through Viator and they were able to do both in the one day which is exactly what I wanted plus having the added bonus of visiting Thermopylae.
We were fortunate to have Sebastian as our driver guide and he was first of all very prompt in picking us up from the hotel and very welcoming upon first introductions even making a quick pit stop to a local bakery so we could grab some breakfast for the road which much appreciated.
On our driver Sebastian was happy to answer any questions we had about Greece/Mythology and gave some really in-depth knowledge and facts about the places we were visiting through out the day.
Our first stop was the monasteries of Meteora and the bonus of being in car compared to a big bus was that we were able to just pull over (in safe zones) for a quick picture if we saw potential for a great Insta shot (which I can tell you know are abundant on this and will be hard to choose which to post) being in a car compared to a bus also allowed for our driver to pull up to the entrance of most places which was very convenient.
We then stopped in at a local Gyros shop to grab some lunch to eat on the way out to our next stop Thermopylae which was absolutely delicious (having insider knowledge of places to eat like a local is an absolute win in my book, especially if you want a full immersive experience)
Once at Thermopylae Sebastian took us to the thermal water (river) which interesting and then was on to our next highlight of visiting the place where King Leonidas and the 300 Spartans confronted the Persians and sadly died.
Our last official stop was Delphi which is one of those places which I have always dreamed of going to being the mythology buff I am and had ample amount of time to walk through the museum and take in all the exhibits on display before continuing on to the archeological site it self where again we had plenty of time to wonder through the site to take a heap of photos and really enjoy being in the moment.
As we headed back to Athens Sebastian took us to a look out overseeing the town of Arachova which overlooked the town and the beautiful valley below and surround mountains (absolutely beautiful)
Once back in Athens we were taken to a local restaurant where we sat alfresco amongst the locals taking in the atmosphere whilst enjoying the biggest meal/feast we have ever had in our lives, it literally just kept coming out until the point where we had to say we were full and no more please! Haha
Lastly, my partner and I have been fortunate enough to have travelled all over the world and thus been on many a day tour and being a travel agent myself for Australia’s largest travel agency for over a decade I have experienced a lot when it comes to travel and I can hands down say that this was the best value for money tour you can do in Athens. Yes, to some it may be expensive for what we did but as I have mentioned above you get a semi flexible, full day, private guided tour with local insider knowledge which in my opinion is priceless and a delicious feats of a meal for dinner plus refreshments through out the day.
Thanks again our new friend Sebastian! We hope one day that you get to Texas and maybe a detour via Australia to visit us 😉
