Beautiful calm and relaxing sleigh ride, highly recommended for couples and families alike - our second visit and this time we brought our family to share this experience

A lovely afternoon spent at the reindeer farm. Felt relaxed and not rushed. The sleigh ride was approx 45 minutes and was so peaceful. A beautiful setting too! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Nice to have a warm drink in the barn afterwards and hear more about reindeer and chance to ask questions and buy some antler too! Would definitely recommend this trip as felt less commercial than some of the shorter reindeer ride experiences.

Travelling with a friend, we booked this trip with Wild About Lapland as we'd also booked the kurouma tour with them and knew they only had a maximum of 8 people on the trip. Excellent communication from them upon booking and arrival.
We knew where the office was so walked there for the trip. Upon arrival we were offered Snow suits and boots however had our own gear so didn't need to use it.
Our guide (apologies for not remembering his name) was very friendly and welcoming. We rode at the front of the van for the 20 minute journey there and back and he chatted to us the whole time which was nice.
The trip itself was amazing. We were taken to a Reindeer farm where we got to enjoy a beautiful calm reindeer sledging experience in beautiful surroundings. It was a cold day at -25oc so I'm glad it was only the 2.5km trip as sitting still you do get cold very quickly. After the ride we were taken into a lovely warm room with a fire, given Berry juice, a small cinnamon bun and a biscuit and the owner told us all about his farm and answered everyone's questions. He was a very pleasant and interesting man. I'd highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in a reindeer sledging experience and learning how the local people live.

We did most of our trips in Lapland with Wild About Lapland. Their staff are excellent.
They helped as much as they could and always gave fantastic information about each individual excursion. Each tour guide was really helpful and lovely in their own way, and they did their best to make sure myself and my son enjoyed every minute of the activity. I would highly recommend them. Their visit to a genuine & certified husky farm is one of the best holiday experiences I’ve ever had.

A magical experience getting to see reindeer for a couple of hours. I got to pet one of the reindeers, go on a short sleigh ride, and take a ton of great photos and videos. On top of that, I got to learn so much about the fascinating world of reindeer farming while sitting around a fire inside a traditional Grillkota. My advice: come during the winter and do this in the morning to get that postcard-worthy photo.

From the start this was well organised and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful (Emilia was an excellent host and driver, well informed and knowledgeable) The tour of the reindeer farm was interesting, and our host there again was very interesting and knowledgable. The ride in the sled was a lot of fun, just the right length and very peaceful. Meeting Manu the reindeer was a treat - a friendly reindeer who likes to be stroked! Well done to all - would do it again!

I went on the night Safari and it was perfect. My guide Maria Silva was super nice and we talked a lot. On the drive it was just me and my guide. The Farm is worth a visit. A lot of informations about the live and the work on the Farm. The sleedge ride was extremly relaxing and was on a frozen lake.
Highly recommend. The reindeers are all nice and they have one that loves to be petted

This was one of the best experiences that we had while we were in Finland. The reindeer farm was an old, family owned farm located on the side of a lake - beautiful! There were baby reindeer, as well as adult reindeer, and we were able to hand feed all of them. They are beautiful creatures, very gentle and fun to be around. Great experience - highly recommend!

This was our first activity of the trip and we started on a high. It’s a very special experience seeing the reindeer and going up to them close in their natural habitat. You can do a fun, exciting reindeer sledge ride where they pull you round a track. We loved it and would definitely recommend it! The staff were very informative and friendly. The big group of us gathered in a traditional hut with cinnamon biscuits and hot tea - this went down very well and we got to hold a pair of antlers too. A magical, fascinating experience learning about the realities of farming reindeer and their natural habitat. Would highly recommend!

This was the most magical experience we had in Lapland. The farm is ethical and the owner and staff are passionate about the welfare of their reindeer. The setting is beautiful and quiet - well away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of Rovaniemi. The ride was peaceful and at a nice pace to enjoy the forest. After the ride there was an opportunity to ask plenty of questions about the reindeer and an interesting talk about their life cycle, over hot berry juice and cookies. The tour operator “Wild About Lapland” was also excellent - informative and obviously respectful of the farmer. They arranged a car seat for my toddler too, which most taxi drivers and tour operators don’t do here. Really impressed. 10/10.
