What an amazing day! We had such a fantastic day with our tour guide Raven, he was so knowledgeable and we felt extremely safe with his driving.
The snowmobiling was also such an adrenaline rush, the staff up on the glacier made us feel safe and warm before embarking on the snowmobile.
I wish they had other tours we could’ve joined that went from Reykjavík as we didn’t rent a car and we just loved this one so much!
10/10 would recommend

Amazing day with family of 4 (x1 11yr old and x1 13yr old) great time on the Golden Circle and super snowmobile tour though weather bad, hosts were great. Dont be nervous, it was really enjoyable. Highly recommended 👌

This is the second time we took this tour. Going in the private super keep has some advantages over the small group tour. However, the only reason we didn't give it five stars was our tour guide. Don't get me wrong - he was polite and accommodating but if we didn't engage with him he didn't offer much information on his own. So if you want a private and probably a quieter tour take your own super jeep. But if you want to have a more interactive tour take a small group tour - I believe, the small group tour guides are a little more informative and interactive! Oh and the snowmobiling on the glacier, is simply out of this world!!! Both times, when you stop to look around you think you're on top of the world! It's a view you'll always remember!!!

We had a friendly tour guide taking us trough the different towns and iconic hot spots.
The trip was informative and fun to do in a super jeep.
The iceing on the cake was the snowmobile outing on the glacier which was a great experience.
If there is any advice I would give is to ask as many questions about iceland as you can. The tour guides are very informed and very friendly.

We're happy you had a good time on your super jeep tour. And you're absolutely right, asking questions is key. Those tour guides are like human encyclopedias, they know everything about Iceland. So next time, don't be afraid to pick their brains and learn as much as you can. Keep on adventuring!

We enjoyed the Golden circle jeep tour and snowmobile and recommend it as the best way to spend a day that really shows you that part of Iceland.
We laughed so much on the very professional snowmobile part of the trip and the Mountaineers of Iceland hosts provide you with a head/ neck scarf, full protective body suit, gloves and helmet.
You do not need a hat, scarf or gloves but where warm comfortable clothing.
Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and professional… Thank you G 😊 you made the trip magical

The "jeeps" are awesome, and they make you feel like a little kid again. The snowmobile route with the Icelandic glacier made for a phenomenal experience. I hated to put the tour as 3/5, but there was truly an attempt to rush through the geyser, waterfall, and the fissure. If the tour took out the other items and just kept it to an hour or two of off roading rather than 10min and allowed more time to snowmobile than an hour I think this tour would be phenomenal.

Thank you for your review and we're thrilled you enjoyed the snowmobiling experience and our superjeeps! We're sorry to hear that you felt rushed through the other stops on the tour. We do try to provide a well-rounded experience that showcases some of the unique natural wonders that Iceland has to offer. However, we understand that each traveler has their own preferences and priorities, so we appreciate your feedback.
We want to share a fun fact with you that might shed some light on why we use the term "jeeps" for our vehicles. Icelanders actually call all 4x4 vehicles "jeeps"! This started during World War II when the Jeep Willys arrived in Iceland. The Icelanders then coined the term "jeppi" for all 4x4 vehicles, and they still use it today. We use modified vehicles known as superjeeps for our tours, even though most of them are Fords, Toyotas, or Mercedes.
We appreciate your suggestion to focus more on off-roading and snowmobiling on this tour, and we'll definitely take it into consideration. Thank you again for choosing our tour, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more customized experience in the future!

We absolutely LOVED the tour. Our guide was so friendly and enthusiastic. We had so much fun, learned a lot and made memories that will last forever. I thouroughly recomend.
Tips:
They will provide you with extra snow suits for the glacier as well as face covers and gloves, however, the gloves were not the warmest, so I'd invest on a very good pair to take with you on the day. At -20, it gets chilly!
You'll get about 1.5 hour to eat lunch and explore the geysers. Depending on the queues at the restaurant, you might not get much time for the geysers, which is a shame as they're incredible (and only erupt ever 5/10 minutes). So maybe bring your own packed lunch if you want to save time (and money - Iceland is extremely expensive!).

Overall a fantastic experience if you’re after a tour at multiple stops and a bit of snowmobiling. If you’re after either then personally I would book separately. The snowmobiling was a little disappointing. We went out with about 30 other snowmobiles, all in a single file going no faster then 25kph (due to other riders not being confident or even crashing their snowmobile). If you’re looking for snowmobiling book separately as I’m sure a longer experience in a smaller group would have been fantastic. As for the tour, it was superb. Our guide was very informative and friendly, the Super Jeeps is an absolute animal of a vehicle, that was an experience in itself! The stops at the Waterfall, Hot Springs and Tectonic Plates were breathtaking.

Great trip today - the jeep was new and very warm which was appreciated in this cold weather!
Approx 15 people in the group which was a good number. Guide was friendly and informative. Plenty of comfort breaks and opportunities to get drinks or food. Snowmobiling was very cold but we were given good warm suits and gloves - an experience to remember! A great way to see the wonderful sights of Iceland - thank you.

Great day, we didn't have the best weather but still was enjoyable. Our tour guide was very good but did struggle to understand his accent. Could have done with a bit longer at the waterfalls and the shop was very good there.

Hello. We'll be a family of 5 (but unfortunately only 1 of the 5 people drives). Will we be able to snowmobile with 4 siting behind other people.
Also, we'll be there in early July - will there be snow?

We have already booked the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon Inc Admin & Kerid Crater Trip. If we also book this Super Jeep & Snow Snowmobiling is there a lot of duplication or is it worth doing both trips during our4 day trip in early Nov 2021
Is a stop at the secret lagoon always included as part of the trip, How are you to know if a swimsuit is needed or not?

Hi Lara, on this trip it did not include the blue lagoon. You get a separate trip for that. Some tours might but they will advise what you are doing and then you can plan accordingly

We had 10 people in the super car - enough room for us all
What are likely snow conditions on the glacier in late June ? We read some reviews from summer trips (August/September) suggesting poor conditions with bare ice left only on the surface.

They will take you to a higher base camp. There’s always snow up there.
