All in all a good day out

We read some of the previous reviews so booked with a bit of an open mind. We found the whole trip to be great though and really good value for money.
Everything was organised really well and we set off on time for a blustery boat ride to Gozo. When we arrived we were quickly whisked away to Xleni bay (nice for photos but only a 10 minute stop) and then onto Victoria in a small mini bus. We had just under 2 hours in the capital which gave us time for a quick lunch and a walk around the Citadel for amazing views.
Then back on the mini bus, again on time, which took us back to the boat. From here we went to the Blue Lagoon on Comino. Some brave people took to the water but we had drinks on the side of the island whilst taking in the views. As it was December it wasn't too busy but could picture the bay being over run in summer. We then had a quick tour around the caves of Comino before another blustery sail back to Sliema where we arrived at 5pm.
All in all we really enjoyed the day, found the crew friendly and helpful and saw some sights that we wouldn't have got to see from a bus. Highly recommend out of season but can't vouch for whether it would be the same at the height of summer with more crowds.

Dreadful
This is a 7.5 hour waste of your life. Boarded a packed boat to Gozo, then ushered to a bus with no guide, stopped for 15 mins to take photos of Ta Cenc cliffs, then onwards to centre of Gozo for a 1.15 hour lunch break - again left to your own devices like a stray dog. At this point I had wanted to leave and go back to Valletta but ferry was on weekend schedule. So decided to just hang in. Back to the bus and boat to Blue Lagoon. Full of boats loaded with people and crammed into a small harbour. Crowded with drinks stand and peppered with litter. This was a terrible experience- if you can afford it, go on a private boat tour away from the madness and polluting crowds.

Lovely trip, as long as you know what to expect.

This trip is a good way to see a little of Gozo and swim in the Blue Lagoon, all in one day, however, there are things to bear in mind! The boat to Gozo was packed, so get there early if you want to get a seat on the top deck, for the best views. There are no lockers on the boat and you cannot leave your bags on the boat or minibus, so whatever swimming gear you take with you, you have to carry around Gozo. There are also no changing facilities. The minibus on Gozo was fine and the driver told us a little about Xlendi Bay and Victoria (the two stopping points) and gave us clear instructions about the return time. We had about an hour and three quarters in Victoria. At the Blue Lagoon, the boat moored by the rocky coast, so you have to get into the water from the rocks or the slide or ladder on the boat. There is no beach and there are lots of other boats moored alongside, so you are swimming amongst other boats and lots of people. We then went to look at the caves of Comino, but the boat is too big to actually go into the caves. Having read many reviews of this trip, we knew what to expect and so enjoyed it, but make sure you read the information before you book, to make sure that this is the trip you want.

Tour bastante medíocre, não foi horrível mas não foi fantástica . Primeiramente é de notar que será necessário ir bastante mais cedo para o barco , caso contrário , não terá lugar sentado até chegar a Gozo .
Por sua vez , a visita a gozo é muito fraca , um motorista leva o grupo até ao terminal de autocarros , e a partir daí , cada um tem de se arranjar para conhecer a cidade , no espaço de pouco mais de uma hora .
Na lagoa azul ficamos 1:30 , mas infelizmente torna-se difícil aproveitar com a quantidade de gente que se acumula num espaço tão pequeno , se estava assim em outubro só posso imaginar como será na época alta .

Schöne Landschaftserkundung von Malta. Schade, dass man so viele Leute auf dem Boot hatte. Es war ein ständiger Kampf um einen guten Platz auf dem Boot, im Bus, an der Lagune. Weniger ist manchmal mehr…

Well organised and value for money
The boat was a bit old but had plenty of room to find a seat. The sea was fairly rough but the captain kept close to the shore so we didn’t get too uncomfortable. The visit to Gozo was great and despite previous negative reviews we found the minibus was fine and the driver gave very clear information. Unfortunately the weather was too rough for us to visit The Blue Lagoon so we were dropped off at St Mary’s Bay which was ridiculously busy there was no room on the beach but we managed to sit on some rocks until the boat returned 90 minutes later.
Got back to ferry terminal on time.
The trip was not as good as expected but the crew did their best in the circumstances

Good advice from previous travellers helped to enjoy the trip to the max!

I followed the advice of arriving early, at the beginning of check-in period, and it paid off: manage to get a nice deck chair and sunbathed until departure time! Also got a locker to store part of my stuff while going to the Blue Lagoon and to Gozo, and walked around light and relaxed. In spite of having to rush to be able to encompass the trip, the Blue Lagoon and Gozo visit, I found it was worth it. Of course, I could use some more time to visit Gozo properly, but managed to get the zest of it!

Lovely boat trip but terrible mini-coach trip on Gozo.
Paid €50 each for this trip. We were informed by the agent that this was boat ride to and tour round the island.The boat ride there and back was nice albeit rather crowded. When we arrived on Gozo we were herded towards the mini-coaches and whisked of somewhere, no commentary the whole journey for a ten minute stop to see a natural harbour ( no idea why) and then dropped in Victoria with very scant information again for 1&3/4 hours. We had no written information at all and the driver made no conversation during the ride. We were then collected by the same dirty mini-coach ( no air conditioning with outside temp of 30C) and delivered back to port to board the boat which made 90 minute swimming stop at island of Comino then visit to sea caves and back to hotel. What galled me the most was that people at the back of the line were put on larger coaches and enjoyed commentary of their tour. If you’re going to visit Gozo research & ensure you know nature of your travel vehicles or simply service bus, service ferry and red/green bus tour around the island. I cannot recommend the company Luzu who we went with.

Great but Squished

Lovely staff, very well organised, got to see a good amount of the coastline, comino and gozo. That said, they crammed us onto that boat like sardines, so be prepared to be shoulder to shoulder with strangers.
