The Cruise to Norway has been a fiasco, has lost quality and organization. 5.500
Euros (two people) and it has proved a failure.
The Costa Diadema boat is a labyrinth and they don't even give you a blueprint with directions. We were 1,200 Spaniards and barely spoke Spanish and also the staff does not have any badge that indicates the language they speak, not even the waiters who waited at the tables of the Spaniards had any idea of the language.

Booked on March 8 this excursion for 10 people that was supposed to take place on July 6th Having been charged my credit card on March 8th On July 4th while we were already in Bergen they send me a message at midnight telling me that the excursion is cancelled for technical reasons I go to the company of Norled boats who tells me that it is not true the excursion is maintained but that in fact wow a tour always buys tickets at the last minute even if you paid in advance.
Fortunately we were able to buy tickets directly from Norled for the day after and 40% cheaper

Made first Tiara Coast cruise on Norwegian fjords. Unfortunately due to bad weather the program has been disrupted, with alternatives nn valid in my opinion. Apart from that Bergen and the very interesting Flam Fjord, x the cruise I gave only three stars because x me is a type of holiday too static and devoid of attractions. Overall enough, only positive note I spend x Costa staff really efficient and always with a smile, very good guys to you I bow. X the rest ship to renew and revise the programs especially in the evening very little choice. Norway... well nothing to add except that I will definitely return x the third time.

We arrived at the ferry port 10-15 minutes before departure. Every single window seat was already taken. So if you’re planning on not being on deck for the majority of the journey, get there earlier for the best views.
It’s also worth baring in mind that this is a taxi/tour hybrid boat. So you stop off a bunch of times at different ports, but it’s very quick change over times. I’m talking literally minutes to get on and off the boat.
The journey to flam is 5 hours long, and it only really starts to get impressive half-way in, but when it gets impressive it gets really impressive.
The boat will begin to slow down and you’ll get up close to waterfalls and steep fjords.
Flam is as impressive as the stories say, if you like views and hiking.
I wouldn’t recommend getting the ferry back though. We opted to stay longer in flam and get a bus/train back to Bergen which took half the time, coupled with more impressive views.
Plenty of food and drink on board.
Overall I’d say it’s worth the money if you haven’t seen the fjords at their most epic before.

No better way to be introduced to the Fjords than a ferry from Bergan to Flam. Made a number of quick stops which added to the experience.
Ship was modern and ample. Crew knowlegable and friendly. Took off and arrived basically right on time. It wasn't so overcrowded that we felt cramped. Plenty of time and room for photos.

The tour was no tour at all it was a nice fjord however this is described as a tour- it was not- it was basically a ferry to flam which took 5:30 hours to get to- not stops along the way
Then we only had 1.5 hours in flam which didn’t give any time to do anything as even the hike was 1.5 hours. We had to get back on the ferry to Bergen and another 5:30 hours to go back
It would have been much better to do a one way and spend a day in flam and then returned next day or the train back if it was deceived properly- a huge waste of a day.

What a fabulous little two hours down the fjord. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The boat sails very serenely and at such a pace that you don’t miss a thing. This is vital as the scenery through the fjord is out of this world. When we went in December great snow and ice made the backdrop breathtaking. The pick up and drop off were seamless and worth every penny.

Setting real prices. The trip was for my family, the prices listed on the website have nothing to do with reality, for example the flight from Oslo to Bergen is advertised at €50, a lie, more than €170. Aside from the torrential rains, Roads, train tracks and air transport were cut off. When you have paid more than €200 for a 2-hour bus and whose price was published in 24, they call you the night before canceling the trip, the refund of the amount will be returned to you in 2 or 3 weeks and the same with everything.

It was supposed to be the realization of a dream but instead it was a nightmare... we start with broken or missing suitcases, as soon as we got on the ship we found ourselves crowded in front of the reception and elevators...
The long lines began immediately to access any service, to the bar, to the restaurant (despite the shifts they had imposed on us and I won't comment on the quality of the food) to get off or on the ship... excursions cancelled... itineraries changed...
We only saw one fjord...the rest were cities
..there was no organization ..even the return was a disaster

A great journey on a high speed catamaran and the time flies by too. This is a fairly large boat, but the views out of the sides and external space on rear and front decks make sure there are plenty of opportunities for taking great pics or just watching the world go by.
There is a real mix of passengers, those like us who join to do a there and back tour (5.5 hrs each way - stay on the same side of the boat for the return to see a different view), those going between Flåm and Bergen, one way, taking in the railway up to Myrdal, and others connecting with the stops on the way (there are about 12 stops).
This is not a guided tour, but sightseers are not completely forgotten, with some occasional commentary and a couple of extra close up stops by waterfalls for extra photos.
An expensive day but I’m glad we did it to experience one of the wonders of the natural world the deepest and second longest fjord in the world. You never get bored with the scenery as the boat moves so fast - covering well over 100 miles each way.
On board the ride is smooth and the seats comfortable, with plenty of space to move/walk around. The cafe has a good selection and is open most of the journey. There js free wifi but the 4/5G reception is pretty good throughout and surprisingly in some very remote places.
A note on the cancellations and poor reviews. We booked ours for Sunday because it suited us, but we were transferred a day early as the service wasn’t operating on a Sunday. On board it says it operates 6 days per week, so this could be a regular problem. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if you’re needing to connect with the train at Flåm or have accommodation booked at one of the stops, then be careful!

Is the trip a cruise on the Sognefjord from Bergen. At Flam do we then take the railway? Do we then cruise back to Bergen, take a train or bus? It looked as though we were starting at the bus station. Need to explain to my group as they want to cruise on the Sognefjord and do the Flam railway. Thanks

How are passengers transported back to Bergen after seeing Flam on the one day tour? How long is the return trip, what route taken and by what form of transportation. Boat, rail or other vehicle?
