Exemplar were booked for us as part of a package to Cairns. We were picked up at the Airport on time by Scott. My Mum has mobility problems and he just went above and beyond to make things easy for us. He was very genuinely caring towards her too.
We had a different driver to take us back a week later, who was also lovely, but what blew us away was this… Scott learned we were departing, so came to find us and say goodbye. That is not just doing his job, he is a sincerely caring and good person.
Exemplar should be very proud to have staff like Scott and also Bob.
Thanks for making our trip even more special.

I made a booking in advance on their website for transfer between CNS and my accommodation, as the airport is not connected to public transport this is the only option or to get a taxi.
This company has an archaic online booking system which needs to get into the 21st century. The website is also very confusing and contradictory. I booked my transfer, paid for it and heard absolutely nothing more from them. I had no confirmation that I’d booked anything, so I lost $20.

Hello Lauren. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you had such a frustrating time booking with us. Yes we are aware that our website is old. We are on the verge of launching a new booking system and website to make things easier. However, we have never heard that the current one is "contradictory". Many other customers use it with out any problems. The fact that you did not hear from us could be that we did not receive your booking. We hope you had your $20 returned. If you booked PayPal it may be evident on your account. If not please contact us and we will try and resolve the issue. Just email admin@exemplaronline.com.au stating all your details and the issue. We will do our best to assist.

We had not booked transport from Cairns Airport to our hotel. But the friendly Exemplar staff quickly had us organised with no fuss or hold ups. Reasonably priced

Good & reliable service. It took a little while to drop everyone at their destination so I'd suggest planning for plenty of time when you arrive just in case. The staff at the counter & the bus driver (Sam) were very nice and helpful too.

Hello mbs23. Thank you for your review. For seat in coach, you are right, there are a few stops along the way, but it is a great way of seeing the area. For more direct transfers, we offer private services. Planning either way is always essential. Thankyou again.

We had our first experience of the Exemplar services from Cairns airport to the city on Friday afternoon, we hadn’t pre-booked so spoke straight with the company as soon as we had landed and they sorted us out a great deal there and then. We had Wayne as our driver and let’s also say “tour guide”. He was absolutely brilliant! He was extremely informative about the area, weather and things to do and look out for. Not an experience we have had in the past with other companies that just drive you to and from the location with nothing to say. He was very passionate about telling us all we needed to know.
We also booked this company for our return trip, this time we had Bennett and he too was fab. Can’t fault this service and would highly recommend.

This was actually Hotel pick up to Cairns Airport.
This was booked via ConXion using Exemplar as the transport.
As per Exemplars directions I contacted Exemplar 24hrs in advance to confirm the pick up. This was done both via telephone and Email. The pick up time was 10am.
On the day of pick up, no sign of the transport by 1010hrs so I phoned Exemplar and spoke to a very unhelpful female member of staff. She informed me that the pick up was running late due to other passengers needing to be collected. I asked how long would it be, answer 5mins. I stated that I had to be at the airport by 1030hrs ( approx 10-15mins travelling time), she stated it would be with me in 5mins.
At 1017hrs, still no show so had to arrange own transportation.
On return to UK I contacted ConXion explaining the no show and requesting a refund. They stated that they had spoken to Exemplar and were refusing to refund as they had turned up at 1017hrs ( the exact time I had stated I had left!!) which they had not.
I now have Solicitors in Australia taking this on for me.

Hello Dream. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you were disappointed with our service.
You were booked on the 10.00am run, which is a nominal time, as such with all bus services they may arrive early, on time, or be a few minutes late. There are always a number of hotels to service on these runs. On that day there was a delay at the previous hotel with dawdling passengers. Unfortunately, this happens from time to time with bus services. Our staff member to whom you spoke at 10.10hrs, apologised and informed you your service was running late, (she looked at our GPS vehicle tracker to confirm)and correctly said that it was expected at your hotel in about 5mins. After the call, as it turns out, you left the hotel via other means in 3mins and your bus arrived at the hotel (according to our GPS tracker) at 10.17.53. It then arrived at the airport at 10.26.05 exactly. As you can see it was only a short run to the airport and we were confident you were going to be there by 10.30hrs. Perhaps our staff member could have allayed your fears a bit better that day when you called, but she did give you the correct information at the time. We hope you had a safe journey home.

I booked this and no shuttle bus turned up, I tried to cancel and get a refund and I have no option to do this through trip advisor. When you pay for a service and do not receive it, it is should be possible to get a refund!

Hello Lauren M. Thankyou for your feedback. Without details of your booking, we cannot make any comments. Our cancellation policy is to refund if outside 24hrs of service delivery. We have searched to see where we did not collect any passengers lately and cannot find any. We would certainly refund if we are at fault and have not delivered our service to you. Please call our office 07 4213 3333 and speak with one of our reservations staff members and explain your situation. Please quote your Exemplar reference number to make it easier. I hope that helps.

Book by yourself at the service counter to the city with20A$ fee , waiting on Bay14. It’s sit in coach with other passengers but no worry, the driver drop you off at the door of the hotel. It’s very cheap, and if you are returning customer, 10% discount for next service, or you csn book online and waiting for confirmation e mail, track your order. It’s quite easy and no more hidden fee.
