We travelled on a miserable rainy day so that didn't help but we found this section of the river to be a bit boring. In addition, music was blaring at the back of the boat which was annoying, unnecessary and distorted the commentary. Crew were good and welcoming.

The most miserable experience while in Melbourne. We got picked up from Federation square, and got dropped off at the same place. For us it was not an hour trip, just 40 minutes. Apart from river banks overgrown with grass and two bridges there was nothing to see. The cruise was sold on the riverside and we expected to go up AND down the river, we were scammed into going down the river. Free tea and coffee - instant coffee, cheap tea bags. ASK WHERE THE BOAT IS HEADING BEFORE YOU PAY

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. However, it seems there might be some confusion as your review doesn't align with the services we provide. We always ensure that our cruises are a minimum of 60 minutes, with the possibility of extending slightly if needed. Our typical route includes heading up Herring Island, providing ample time for passengers to enjoy the scenery and relax on board.
It's important to note that there are multiple cruise companies operating in Melbourne, and it's possible you may have mistaken our service for another. We primarily depart from Southgate, although we do offer pick-up points at Federation Square for added convenience.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and encourage guests to verify the details of their cruise before booking to ensure a pleasant experience. From the river there was very little to actually see. There was commentary but, limited views of the things they talked about. My takeaway is how much graffiti there is and how dirty everywhere is.
I read afterwards there was complementary tea and coffee, this was certainly not promoted on board. I wouldn’t recommend spending money on this trip.

Disappointing. We were Looking for a peaceful and informative 2 hour cruise.
Instead We had very loud pop/rock music blasted at us except when the recorded commentary was playing. we went <1/2 hour upstream- seated on rock hard dining room chairs that were not secured. turned around and went back to where we started.
We were told to get off and wait for 1/2 hour. Which we did in the blazing sun as if we’d gone to seek shelter we’d have ended up at the back of the queue to re board along with all the customers going for a one hour cruise.
We reloaded and went 20 mins downstream this time. And back
It would have been more pleasant and peaceful to have walked along the riverbank - and $124 cheaper for us as a couple.

The trip was very informative with the commentary running the whole time.
A fabulous way to spend an afternoon in Melbourne. One thing to note, the ticket pick up is at the boat mooring! We chased around everywhere as directions weren’t that clear.

The cruise was informative and comfortable and value for money but the Captain was preoccupied with his mobile phone a lot of the time which made us uneasy.

Nothing to see here…! We were hoping for a glance at something cool or historic, but the river is so overgrown with trees and bushes that we couldn’t see anything. The recorded commentary was outdated and all onboard were on their phones after 10 min into the trip. Boring, save yourself the time and money. Skip this one. Also, smells like exhaust and feet.
