Ruben and his team were very professional and always available. He gave us great information and was open and honest. Great service oriented team, outstanding prices that can’t be beat. I would highly recommend Ruben if you are traveling to Machu Picchu area.

I did an eight days tour with South Adventure Peru Tour in October 2022. It started with a two nights free & easy at Lima before flying off to Cusco and from there to all the smaller towns and finally to Machu Picchu itself staying a night or two at each location.
There was a personal guide and driver who accompanied me throughout my solo tour and they attended to my every needs and they were also very knowledgeable of the history and culture of all the places that we visited. The full day tour of Machu Picchu itself was the crowning glory but all the other ancient archeological sites we visited were also amazing.
I am so glad that I had booked my tour with South Adventure Peru Tours. Being a local company based in Cusco itself, and with locally born guides, they can really give you a comprehensive tour of all the historical site as well as the history of the ancient cultures of their wonderful country. Highly recommended!

Last year we took a trip to Peru and Bolivia for two weeks thanks to the good organization and professional management of Reuben and Tatiana who designed a wonderful trip according to our needs and budget. We did the City tour in Lima, Cusco, 2 Days of tour to the Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu, Rainbow MT, Titicaca and 5 Days of travel in La Paz - Bolivia. All the planned organization was well above our expectations, super friendly and professional guides, comfortable transport with responsible drivers, we loved the traditional food very much, Reuben and Tatiana treated us very well and they took care of organizing our domestic flights, excellent hotels and with good locations, train tickets, admission to the archaeological centers obviously Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu as well. South Adventure Peru is associated with the tour operator of Unic-Travel who took care of our stay in Bolivia including all the tours to Copacabana, La Paz and Salar of Uyuni ( Salt flat ) It was a trip of a lifetime, we had a great time and we will not hesitate to recommend it to all people who seek to have a wonderful vacation.

Inka trail It was un unforgeteable tour, nice group. Th e best was the walking from Chachabamba to Machupicchu 7 hours, nice jungle cloud forest, inka trail. The vieu from the sungate to Machupicchu is spectacular. Let's go next time!!!!!!

We had the most incredible week of vacation with the help of South Adventure Peru Tours! We could not have done our trip without the help of Ruben and his wife Tatiana, who meticulously planned every detail of our itinerary, from picking us up at the airport and arranging hotels, dinners, and tours. Our guide Coco was THE BEST! He was extremely knowledgeable and quickly became part of our family. We did the Inca trail, Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, the salt mines, and the archaeological sites in Cusco... we had no idea there were so many beautiful things to do in a week. This was a life-changing trip for all of us, thank you South Adventure Peru Tours. We could not have had the experience we did without you. Pacha Mama!

I booked a personal nine days Peruvian tour of Lima, Cusco, Pisac, Ollantaytambo and of course Machu Picchu with South Adventure Peru Tours and it was such a great experience.
The service was excellent, especially all the various pick ups and drop offs from the airports and hotels and the guide was like a living encyclopaedia. He was very courteous and his knowledge and explanation of the history and culture of the various ancient sites we visited was excellent.
I would highly recommend you book a tour with South Adventure Peru Tours if you are planning a trip to Machu Picchu or anywhere else in Peru.

Wow! We had an amazing Peru trip which Ruben and Tatiana helped us organize. Throughout the planning Ruben was always very responsive. I provided where we wanted to go and the order that I preferred the itinerary. He made it happen down to every detail with additional suggestions. With the exception of a few days in Puno and Colca Canyon, we had private tour guides and pick ups during our trip. This allowed flexibility in changing our mind on times or even the activities in some cases. We were greeted at every location and always had all the connections, train, bus tickets, entrance tickets to enable a smooth transition wherever we went. All the tour guides were wonderful. We have to bring very special attention to Coco (Jorge) who was our guide for our time in Cusco, the Sacred Valley and our short Machu Picchu trek as well as inside Machu Picchu itself. It felt like he was part of our group and was so knowledgable and fun to be with. We felt so lucky we got to know Coco. He even zipped lined with us.
Also, at first it was just my husband and myself on this 3 week Peru trip, But when we told our daughter, she wanted to join us. So Ruben and Tatiana were able to quickly add her onto the itinerary for the time she could be there.
After having to cancel our original plans in 2020 due to the pandemic we were so grateful to finally be able to visit Peru. Even though Ruben and Tatiana specialize in south Peru we wanted to actually travel on the Amazon River, which meant we had to fly to northern Peru to Iquitos and take a boat ride down the Amazon to our lodge. Ruben recommended the Muyuna Lodge that we were were very happy with.
Although Ruben could arrange the hotels, we chose to do that on our own so we could make our own choices and use points when possible. We also arranged all our flights and provided those details to Ruben so pick up arrangements could be made.
We felt unsure wiring Ruben money instead being able to use a credit card, but the reviews gave us confidence all would be ok and it was. We had a trip of a lifetime and lots of memories to go with it.

Nuestro viaje fue una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida, recorrimos varios sitios fabulosos y con buenas vistas, cada lugar que visitamos era maravilloso un placer para nosotros poder conocer estos lugares con muy buen clima. Su gente maravillosa que nos brindaba sus historias y su amistad, fuimos acompañado de guia que nos proporciono la empresa South Adventure Pero que fue las que nos brindo el paquete para nuestro viaje, muy buena organizacion se las recomiendo a mis amistades y bueno gracias por todo esto, que de verdad fue muy expectacular y agradable. Un gusto haberlos contratado, nos vamos satisfecho por estas excelentes vacaciones.

Mi viaje en compañía de mi familia fue de lo mejor, disfrutamos mucho y compartimos como nunca lo habíamos hecho, gracias a Dios por permitirnos este viaje en donde la pasamos bien y pudimos compartir mucho en familia, nos sentimos más unidos y en confianza, este viaje quedará en nuestros recuerdos para toda la vida, ojalá y Dios nos permita volver a repetir esta experiencia. También agradezco a South Adventure Peru por brindarnos su confianza y excelente servicio, sin ellos no podríamos a ver pasado un magnífico viaje familiar, gracias por todo y a todos mis amistades se los recomiendo por si quieren venir a pasar sus vacaciones en familia.

My family and I had an excellent experience with Reuben! We are from the US and could not have had a better international vacation. If you are considering going to Peru do it and boom this trip! Excellent for all ages and informational while also entertaining!!
