Pete is an incredibly knowledgeable guide and put together a fantastic full day tour of Czechia. The Terezin camp/Ghetto have very interesting history and stories, the national parks have some of the greatest views you can see. The food/coffee stops as well were both wonderful. It truly was a full day, so be prepared to walk a lot and don’t make plans that night. I would recommend this tour to everyone traveling to this region of Europe, truly was the best day!

Peter was an excellent guide who truly made this an amazing experience. He was a knowledgeable guide who clearly has his clients in mind through out the journey.
Each experience was unique:
- The Dark History of the Terezín Concentration Camp (Peter also brings you to random side streets so you see some legacy building markings)
- The amazing Tisá Stone Labyrinth Park - (what will you see in the stones?)
- The Bohemia Swiss Saxon National Park is a must see (you will fill your phone or memory card with pictures)
The Coffee Shop and Lunch Stop served amazing local treats.
Book with Peter you will not be disappointed!!!

This was an amazing selection of sights to see that we would not have otherwise gone to. The door to door service is unbeatable and the guide is very knowledgeable about every sight we went to.

This was a very interesting and educational experience!
There was a nice mix of activities/subjects - a sobering visit to Terezin Concentration Camp; a stop for a drink and choice of Czech pastry; a chance to walk amongst some large and very unique sandstone formations at a national park; a mid-afternoon stop for a wonderful Czech meal; and a stop at Bastei for some beautiful, sweeping views of the Elbe River and countryside.
Our guide/tour operator, Petr, is an extremely knowledgeable and personable young father of four, who is passionate about his business and about giving his clients a wonderful day-long experience — and his English is exceptional!
I highly recommend this tour!

Tour never showed up. No notification of cancellation ever received. Only bright spot was that tour was never charged to my card.

I am so glad I signed on for this tour! While there is no shortage of beautiful sights in Prague, it was so satisfying to leave the city and experience more of Czechia (and technically, a patch of Germany), especially in such an easy and full-service way. Terezin is an important place to visit and learn about, and the park uniquely spectacular. With this one tour you get door-to-door transportation, Pete's vast knowledge of history and terrain, refreshments on demand, an amazing pastry & coffee stop, AND a high-end regional meal in a beautiful setting. Note that while a 12 or 13 hour tour might sound daunting (it kinda did to me), time just flowed in an exceedingly organic and comfortable way. Pete is a delightful person to spend a day with. Signing on for his tour is a no-brainer, if you want to broaden your visit and stimulate your brain, senses, and tastebuds while being completely taken care of.

I am not surprised that this tour is rated so highly. It was fantastic!
The Bohemian and Saxon "Switzerland" Parks are stunningly beautiful, and the Terezin Camp is a grim reminder of the dark history and Nazi past. We stopped at an excellent bakery/Cafe and a restaurant to sample the local food - all included in the price.
Peter was great! He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the region's history, culture and food. In fact he grew up and lives in villages we drove through. He is very engaging and speaks great English.
The van is comfortable, and Peter brings along drinks (including a selection of beer!) and snacks for the ride.

It would be hard to believe anyone could provide better service while being more enthusiastic or knowledgeable. Door to door pickup and drop off was amazing. This is an absolute must do on your time in the area. Comfortable transportation and even had a wide range of available snacks/drinks. We can not wait to get back and take this tour again.

Peter is a phenomenal guide. He grew up in this region and his knowledge of history will blow your mind and his English is perfect. With that, seeing the Terezín Camp made that experience even more meaningful. A must see for sure, And Bohemian Switzerland was fun and beautiful. Peter will take you on an unforgettable journey of world history, stunningly gorgeous countryside and an overall enjoyable experience full of surprises, I can’t imagine a better way to see Terezín Camp and experience this area than with Peter and this particular tour.

If you do one excursion while visiting Prague, this is the one to do. Peter is a great guide who clearly has a passion for what he does, and is a great source of knowledge on Czech history and culture. During the drives between sites, we were provided with a lot of interesting commentary on both what we were seeing on the tour and Czech historic events. Visiting Terezin and learning about its tragic past was very thought provoking. Both of the sites we visited in Bohemian Switzerland were very scenic and gave us a little opportunity for light hiking, and the food at both the lunch and coffee breaks was excellent. Taking this tour at the beginning of our trip provided us with a lot of valuable insights into various sites and museums that we visited during the remainder of our time in Prague. Highly recommend this tour and a day with Pete!

It’s pretty much exactly as described in the tour description. Guide is about 34 yrs old male, and we had a lovely time with him. Look up each of the destinations for more detail. I thought it was a great day.

We had a private tour and no time limit. We got back around 9PM. However, I am sure the return time could be arranged in advance, the guide is extremely nice and will go above and beyond to accommodate your requests.

Does anyone know why this tour is advertised as $56.74 per person, but when you click on it, it jumps to $175.98 a person? And is it worth the $$$. Thanks

This $175.98 includes everything of (1)tour at concentration camp with a tour guide (2) your coffee and cake set at railroad cafe, (3) nice courses of lunch at very high end ( clean and very pretty view) restaurant (4) entrance at National Park (5) bridge walking in Germany side ... basically all attractions taking place for you in one day is included, so I was far more satisfied with the price, although.. you are right! The first price popping up can be very confusing 🙂
