If you don't do anything else in Prague, you have to do this. Tom is one of the most wonderful tour guides I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable about Czech history, culture and people. He taught us a few Czech words along the way! He is friendly, easy to talk to, and let us take our time through the experience. He knew all of the good spots for pictures and combined the best lookouts from all of the trails at the Bohemian Paradise. He brought us some coffee and tea in a small thermos to drink at the top lookout spots! The sandstone formations themselves are breathtakingly beautiful, they are a one of a kind. The hike is an easy to medium level. Tom then took us to a fantastic lunch spot in a small town a few minutes away from the rocks. This is a small restaurant with absolutely delicious food, some of which is traditional Czech cuisine. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

This may have been the highlight to our trip to Czech Republic. Our small group was visiting Prague and were looking for something to do outside of the city, and this was a great choice. A big thanks to our tour guide Tom, who made the trip enjoyable with his great attitude and knowledge of the area. We saw some amazing geological features that we truly didn't expect to see, got to stretch our legs a bit, and at the end of the trip we had a great meal at an intimate pub in a nearby village. Honestly one of the best meals we during our entire trip. The whole day was fantastic, and highly recommended. Thank you again, Tom!

Fantastic day tour - short distance outside of beautiful Prague but difficult to go on your own. Breathtaking views and Tom is an experienced local guide who made us feel at home. Spectacular nature and easy walks which our children (9 and 11) successful completed with enthusiasm. Lunch was lovely too.

Cesky Raj was on our must-visit list but we weren't sure how to do it. The area is quite spread out with very little public transit, and we were not planning to rent a car. Enter Tom and Green Zebra Tours.
Tom picked us up at our front door and after a friendly introduction whisked us out to the countryside. He was engaging and friendly, and gave a nice clear explanation of where we were headed and what we would see.
We made a handful of stops to marvel at castles, navigate enormous rock formations, grab lunch at a great little restaurant, and soak in some incredible vistas. We're avid hikers so we know a good view when we see one.
We had plenty of time to spend at our own pace in these incredible natural spaces, and Tom's local knowledge was indispensable (we're pretty sure he knows every rock by heart). This tour was not strenuous by any means - we did it all in running shoes - but we were able to completely escape the busy feeling of the city and reached some places that felt like true backcountry.
We can recommend this tour with absolutely no hesitation, we are so glad that we found Green Zebra! Do yourself a favour and book it.

Me and my husband went to the bohemian paradise. Tom was our guide. He picked us up at our hotel on time and there we went. He is a super nice guy. He knows a lot about the region. After we visited the castle and went for our first hike, he took us to a really nice restaurant, tasty food. Then we continued to the second part of the hike. The place is very beautiful. Green zebra also contributes to maintain the bohemian paradise by planting one tree for each client he takes there. This is super important. Thanks a lot Tom for a really fun day! I absolutely recommend this tour.

This adventure is excellent! Our first stop was to Kost castle, where we got to look around the grounds and marvel in the beauty of this well reserved castle. The bohemian paradise national park is truely breathtaking. Lunch in the cute little village was fantastic with friendly staff who are willing to cater for dietary requirements. The behind the scenes brewery tour was informational with the beer is one of the best Czech has to offer!
The best part of the adventure was our guide, Tom, who was honestly the friendliest person we have had the pleasure of meeting. We especially love how some of the proceeds of this tour goes towards helping to preserve the national park and we now have a tree planted in our honour.
Well done Green Zebra Tours! Honestly I can’t recommend this tour enough! Truely outstanding.

if you visit Prague and have more than a couple days you cheat yourself if you don't visit the countryside and the Bohemian Paradise. Tomas our tour guide was awesome. We're from the US and my 3 sons and I plus a family fiend spent the day seeing sights that are truly majestic. We loved Prague but when I asked my sons ( in their 20's) what was the favorite part, it was this trip. They kept insisting I write a review on this trip so others would know.
Now I need to come back here with my wife, it was truly spectacular.

I consider myself to be an active pensioner and went on this trip with my son who is in his early thirties. The whole thing was a very pleasant surpise. We had approached it with no particular expectations, but I have to say that (even if we had gone with any) they would all have been exceeded. The pace of the day was relaxing and everything was either interesting or spectacular. Tomas was an excellent guide and had the patience to speak to me in Czech, which I had been working at for quite some time. His driving was really good and the vehicle was very comfortable. The meal was very good.
Hopefully, that is enought to encourage anybody who feels reasonably active to GIVE IT A GO.

Our day of hiking in the Bohemian Paradise was the highlight of our trip to Prague! There were only 2 of us, one of us in our 50s and the other in our 70s. Tom was patient, kind and most of all really, really knowledgeable. We appreciated that he shared with us that he was born and raised in this area, so when he talks about Bohemia, you can tell he loves it. I cannot say enough good things about the tour, the area and most of all about Tom!
