Excellent tour. Was on an English guided tour. If you want to stop and look at everything, then do not do this tour. Guide was very informative but there was not much time to stop and see all of the exhibits. It is a catch twenty two. The guide gives extra insight, but you do not have time to see everything. If you go alone you can go at your pace, but then you lose some of the extra info from the guide.

The organisation in front of the factory was a shambles with groups trying to find your leaders. I phoned as our tour time was due and was told the leader was inside. We couldn’t go inside.
She then came out without apology. We then waited in the drizzle for another 15 minutes for two latecomers. We should have started without them.
The Museum of Krakow, which is what it really is as there’s very limited focus on Schindler or the factory, was overcrowded and rushed. The groups are too big for small spaces so you miss a lot. I felt sorry for any who had chosen individual viewing.
The Museum needs to limit group sizes and space groups out more - and get organised.
The content looked good but with limited opportunities to read displays this was the only disappointment of an otherwise fantastic week in Krakow.

Arrived on a Sunday around 1pm and joined a queue. Waited 30mins to get in the door. No signage outside. Pre-booked groups walking in before us.
Two regular tickets cost 64zl or £12.31. Didn't bother with the cloakroom - would've been queuing for another 30mins!
Going into the exhibition finally - which was poorly signposted, not even numbered or clear explanation as to the section you're in. Clearly money has been put into it (interactive things to do etc) but not thought out - so many things with no explanation or description. Where there were descriptions for each display, you'd need binoculars. Often standing with several other people, having to wait to read a paragraph in the tiniest print. Which at times was worn off the walls too. Also, only Polish and English writing. The museum is popular and would really benefit from larger wording which can be read from a distance, by more than one person. Unbelievably, there were no audio guides - which would be a total game changer. This would be SO much easier to follow, in several more languages.
We barely read the displays towards the end because there were so many people crowding round tiny writing. It generally felt disjointed and not engaging. Which is such a shame because we really wanted to learn more. You'll see in the picture attached, the left side is Polish and the miniscule paragraph on the right is the English translation.
Also, other reviews are totally right when they say there is barely any Schindler content. There's literally one room dedicated to Schindler (unless we missed something - which wouldn't be surprising considering the layout of some parts) and the rest of the museum is a walk-through of the start to the end of the invasion of Krakow and the persecution of the Jewish community. Not to say that this wasn't fascinating in itself, but just not what we expected at all. Just watch the film if you want to learn more about Schindler specifically.
The museum named after him, in our opinion, just doesn't do the story behind Schindler and all of the Jews that he supported justice.

I would highly recommend Schindlers factory tour, it takes you through the time proir to the German occupation to after their occupation.
Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic, she took her time to explain everything in detail, we progressed through the museum at a perfect pace, which allowed everyone the time to take in the information.
Highly recommended a visit.

Great place to go see for its historical value but allow plenty of time to see and experience it all
Very well run place with a nice cafe. Allow plenty of time, at least 2hours, as there is lots to see and read. It’s a bit out of the city so got a taxi there booked by the hotel.

Just buy a ticket at the front door. At times you will have a long wait and it can be very crowded inside. I did not bother to find another source of tickets. Just go.

Hi. Has anyway used a Krakow pass card to get in ? If so how did you find the entrance. I emaied them and they said if you have a pass you still have to queue and get a timed ticket which they will give you. Thanks

To do justice to the museum you will need to spend a good morning or afternoon there. I think we were there over three hours and still did not perhaps spend the time we should have with all aspects and some areas we didn't see. You should see the film in the mock cinema there - it had survivors who worked in Schindler's factory talking about what they did and what he did. I agree with Wee-yin 05 - we bought tickets at the door. Yes it was very busy and there are usually large groups of school /college young people being taken around by teachers. But it is so worth the wait - we went on a Thursday and no problem getting in.
Again I would say the same about places to eat - we eat somewhere different evrynight around the square and had excellent meals each time.
How do you get to the museum?? Is there a bus you have to take?

We stayed in old quarter so it was a 15 minute walk to museum but it is well signposted and most hotels can tell you how to get there so ask reception
I would definitely advise to book tickets online as it is very packed and tickets sell out quickly

Bonjour,
Pour future référence, oui. Cracovie vend la moitié des places en ligne (sur leur site officiel et avec des revendeurs) et l’autre moitié sur place. Mais attention, il faut y être vers l’ouverture car il y a un nombre de places par jour et que les files d’attente sont longues.

It’s a difficult one to answer. We went round in about 3hrs but it’s very hard to see everything as there are tours and solo people going round. You can find yourself looking at things, reading and watching video clips, but find yourself moving along to allow others to see. You could easily spend most of the day there if you wanted to see it all more thoroughly.
