My wife and I booked this tour for a Friday morning ride. Easy to get to the starting point and there are plenty of bikes and bike helmets to choose from.
Our guide was Wally and he was really nice, spending a bit of time before our ride giving us some information about our route and answering any questions we had.
Our path took us around the Tidal Basin and along the way we visited the MLK Memorial, the FDR Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial. While cherry blossom trees were listed as part of the itinerary, the timing was off as most of the trees had already blossomed and several days of wind had removed many of the blossoms. But we did come across a few trees in full bloom and were allowed with plenty of time for photos under the trees as well as at any of the memorials. After biking around the Tidal Basin, we headed over the National Mall and stopped at the Washington Monument for more photo opportunities.
The ride was very easy and at no time did our group get strung out and separated, so getting through traffic lights and such wasn't a problem. Fortunately the pedestrian traffic was pretty light that day as well, so that made riding around certain areas much easier.
My wife both really enjoyed the tour and would do it again, but we definitely would want to make sure the crowds aren't really heavy.

Toured during the expected peak time. High winds had blown away most of the blossoms but we found some areas to take amazing pictures. Great tour despite this & leaned new intriguing facts about the history of the birth of the national capital tidal basin region. Wally was our tour guide & I think his background as a retired journalist made us the lucky recipients of an exceptional experience. Highly recommend this 2 hour tour if you have young kids as it’s just long enough to keep them interested without dealing with them getting tired & complaining. Everyone in my family enjoyed it & you cover so much more area than if you’re walking. At MLK my kids enjoyed an ice cream as we toured that monument. It was perfect!!!

Great concept but a logistic nightmare. Too many people to get around. Surprised we didn’t run someone over. Take your own water. They don’t sell it at starting point.

Did this bike tour with my family. The tour company was very nice and accommodating. They have electric bikes if you call and make sure they are available. They made my 60 year old parent’s time more enjoyable. The route was flat around the tidal basin, so they probably would have been able to do the tour without the electric bikes, but they still enjoyed having them. We missed the peak of the cherry blossoms, but our tour guide said she would find us some trees, and she did. She told us some history as we rode through some of the monuments. Our tour guide was quite stern and “by the book”, but it honesty made for a great time. She kept us all safe and made sure our large group was on track and allowed us to see everything in a timely manner. We were not upset by not seeing the cherry blossoms in bloom, and neither should you - remember, nature is nature and unpredictable. That’s why it snows in May and is 70 in December. If you miss the blossoms, just enjoy the history and the ride🌸

Excellent trip. I’m not a huge biking enthusiast or anything, but this was a nice way to see some parts of DC that we’ve not gotten to - Tidal Basin, FDR Memorial, Hains Point. Our tour guide, Georgia, was pretty awesome.

Our group dwindled from 5 people to 3 for our 9 am bike tour on Saturday, March 20th because of sleepiness and chilly weather, but Paul took it in stride and got us underway with very little mishaps. This tour was billed as "Cherry Blossom tour", but, unfortunately, the trees were not quite ready to show off their flowers. Paul had done his research and knew where a couple of trees where beginning to bloom and made sure that we saw these. The tour then became a monument tour- which was wonderful on bikes in the early morning. without the crowds. We were able to stop at the Lincoln, Washington, FDR, MLK,Jr, and Jefferson monuments/memorials within our 2 hour tour. Paul was very knowledgable and had historical facts that I hadn't heard before.
If you know that it is going to be crowded, I would suggest the earlier bike tours. Overall = great experience!!

Informative and fun bike tour. Great viewing of the cherry blossom around national mall in a small group. Our tour guide, Paul, has shared interesting facts about trees and monuments that we were passing. I highly recommend and would do it again.

Connor was nice but the pace was painfully slow to the point of being dangerous. I could hardly peddle. We rode on very crowded sidewalks which was extremely dangerous.
On the return while on the bridge, 3 drunk people were aggressively walking toward our single file bikers and a fat beligerent one shoved me with his shoulder into the railing.
I sustained a gash and bad bruise to my right ulna.
Conner was very nice and apologetic but I would not take this tour again.
