This tour was the best part of my Morocco trip - you get to travel with small group of friendly people and get to see a lot more than you expect in just 3 days! Our tour guide Abdul was very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and I could see him doing his best to give people the best experience. The trip is very well organized, and you not only visit places and take photos but you also get to participate/experience some of the activities. I would highly recommend this tour if you visit Morocco!

Highly reccommend going on this tour and asking for Mahmoud to be your driver if possible. Mahmoud is really a genuine nice guy and a great driver and tour guide. We felt safe all the time and were given so much information on our drive and at all the tourist attractions where we stopped. Mahmoud took photos for us too at those places too.
We went through loads of places and were very comfortable in the car on the long drive the last day. Air con whenever we wanted and toilet breaks whenever we wanted too. Mahmoud kindly stopped at his house when we were going through his village and his family had prepared some snacks and mint tea. .. was so relaxing and lovely there.
We had a great tour thanks to Mahmoud!

Myself, husband and 2 parents in their 60's went on our first holiday together abroad to Morrocco!! 😀 We had an amazing trip to Morrocco with 'Marrakech city life tours'.Our guide and driver Mahmoud was so friendly, polite and fun! He was a great driver and we felt very safe all the time! He gave us so much information on our drive and answered all our questions whenever we asked & he had loads of interesting information to tell us. He put air con om when we wanted & would stop if we need the toilet anytime at clean stations. He knew the best places to stop and eat but gave us choices of where to go & when we wanted to go. We saw amazing scenery & went to all the places as mentioned on this marrakech to Fez tour....it really was all unbelievable scenery, desert, gorges, valleys, palm trees valleys, seeing how people lived/ listening to their music. We were so glad we didn't just stay in Marrakech.....also we were glad we didn't rent our own car for this holiday...so much easier to go on this tour....can't say enough good things. Mahmoud made our trip a great memory! Also he took photo's of us at all the main attractions and stopped of at his home in rose valley where his family prepared some mint tea and snacks for us...he wojldn't take any offering for that which was just so kind! We were glad he was our driver & thank him for a great time!!

This is one our BEST TOUR EXPERIENCE EVER!!. Our tour guide Jose Maria was fantastic all time during two days. Each one of the stops was incredible and Sahara Experience with Luxury Camp was incredible. Not doubt to book with Youness. Also our tour driver Lozi was amazing from Sahara to Fess was great.

Esperienza che ci porteremo nel cuore!
Il tour è ben organizzato e non verrete mai lasciati soli.
Sono tante ore di macchina, ma direi ben gestite con delle soste strategiche per mangiare e visitare dei punti panoramici.
L’esperienza nel deserto vale da sola il prezzo del biglietto, un posto meraviglioso impossibile da spiegare a parole, lascio a voi la sorpresa!
Se non siete troppo schizzinosi credetemi che la tenda standard va bene, avrete l’essenziale per passare una notte in maniera dignitosa, risparmiando parecchio.
Il nostro autista Houcine è stato molto simpatico e disponibile, ci ha dato delle informazioni utili per ogni posto visitato e soprattutto ha sempre cercato di far sentire il gruppo a suo agio.
Questo punto è infatti da spiegare: all’inizio vi sembrerà di essere in una “catena di montaggio” per turisti, ma col passare delle ore vi ambienterete sempre di più, conoscerete i compagni e vi godrete meglio il viaggio, che consiglio assolutamente se si vogliono visitare in maniera degna più posti in poco tempo, spendendo il giusto!

Great tour simply. Our guide Ali is super professional, patient, and friendly. He is also very knowledgable so we were able to understand and appreciate the scenes and histories throughout the trip. Also met an awesome group of people and had so much fun!

Abbiamo scelto questo tuor perché avevamo 3 giorni e volevamo visitare più cose possibili. Eravamo 2 ragazze da sole ed eravamo preoccupate di viaggiare da sole in Marocco e la scelta di questo tour è stata totalmente azzeccata. Ali è stato bravissimo a spiegare e a portarci a visitare durante il percorso molti posti in soli 3 giorni con la sua pazienza che lo contraddistingue. È stato un ottimo tour perché ci sono venuti a prendere nel nostro Riad di Marrakech è riportato a Fes in egual modo. Salah ha guidato benissimo.
Super consigliato se volete fare da Marrakech a Fes.
Vi consiglio il Luxury perché dormite in un campo tendato molto bello e ne vale la pena in quanto anche la cena rispetto allo standard è migliore. Il cammello al tramonto e all’alba qualcosa di meraviglioso e unico.

Notre guide Omar étais super sympa. Je recommande le tour :)
Seul truc que j’aurais bien voulu savoir avant c’est qu’il faut prévoir des pourboires pour les guides (2 euros obligatoires).

The tour was surprisingly packed, going beyond the mere visit to the desert but allowing us to discover the Moroccan nature, cities, and the Berber culture and traditions.
We were 12 in a comfortable mini van.
I suggest not reading fully the program, as we did, to get pleasantly surprised by all the things you will see. In some places the food was normal, in other it was amazing, but overall good.
The things you will see in this Moroccan tour are simply amazing, and even driving for many hours (mostly the first and last day) will not bother you too much due to the desertic and mountains landscapes you will see.
In the desert, we took the standard package for sleeping in the tent, and it was good. If you take the luxury one, you will enjoy a private bathroom, but also a better food.
P.s. Extra quad activity highly recommended.
Our guide Alí and our driver Salah were super nice and available to meet all our needs and answer all our questions.
Be prepared to know the precise pick up timing at the very last minute of the day before, but that is normal in these kind of activities with many tourists to be arranged.

I want to do this tour but my partner is skeptical : he said “the more in-depth reviews say” that there is only 15 minute camel ride - not how it is portrayed on hereS Hotel wasn’t nice on first night and doesn’t feel it would be worth the money. Can anyone please confirm or Deny this ?

Hi Hannah, my wife and I just did this tour early December. It’s a lot of drive time in a nice shuttle bus, our driver was awesome and we had plenty of stops to use the restroom/buy snacks. The 1st night hotel was just ok, not good, just ok. I would most likely put it at 2 stars out of 5, but then again you are in a smaller town in Morocco and options are limited. The camel ride was approx 45 mins to 1 hour, it definitely wasn’t 15 mins. The luxury tents were amazing. Overall I would recommend this trip. Hope this helps.
Is it possible to return to Marrakech with the tour provider? Or do we need to find our own transportation from Fez to Marrakech?

Yes it is possible to choose the tour marrakech to marrakech, just send a mail to company and they will arrange it. They also use whatsapp and they contact with you asap.

I didn’t do the luxury package sorry about that! The standard camp was still good enough for us the desert itself was cold but the tents really were t cold at all we had a great sleep and extra blankets which we didn’t really need. We had communal showers and toilets rather than private but that didn’t really make much difference to our experience

The driver knew everything on the route because they do it frequently so restroom stops weren’t a problem at all! This was a big concern of mine as I always need to bathroom but I had no problems at all the drivers are very accommodating so no worries with that :)

For private showers you need to book the “premium” camp experience. We booked the “standard” package and it was so cold that we didn’t bother taking a shower!
In either case you get the warm water.
If you’re traveling during winters, keep in mind you’ll spend a total of 8-9 hours at the camp site (including the sleep) and will head straight back into the desert after your morning shower to catch more sand! 😉
The quad bikes cost extra, otherwise you can still ride a camel (dromedary) for a couple of hours back without any extra cost.
