we had an amazing food tour of Tangier with Mohammed. We truly got to experience the best of Tangier. Mohammed showed us all the unique spots in the city and also shared a little bit about the culture and history of the city. We also shared travel stories and we can’t wait to plan another tour with him!

We arranged everything with Mohammed in advance via email, so we could relax when we arrived, and know we were in safe hands. Because we were staying in Tangier for 5 days, we wanted to see as much as possible and get a real feel for the city, and its food. We asked Mohammed to organise private food tours for us on two of the days, a tour with a bit more of a history focus and a daytrip to Chefchaouen. I couldn't recommend these guys enough! All our guides were excellent!
We had Rababe show us around on day 1 and 3. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and very passionate about Moroccan food. We got to try local foods we would never have found ourselves (birwat and pastilla, and baghrir), a little off the beaten track, and ate the most delicious fish tagine at the Medina fish market.
On day 2 we went with Hamid to see the lighthouse and the Hercules caves, and he took us around the Medina and the Kasbah, and took us to a lot of local shops. Another really good day!
Our final day was a trip to Chefchaouen, which was probably the highlight. Our driver, Mohammed drove us up to the mountains, through the most beautiful landscape, in a very comfortable air-conditioned van. Youssef, our local guide met us when we arrived and we had a wonderful day wandering the blue city and eating delicious local delicacies (the fresh baked pastries and breakfast were particularly good!). Youssef was a fount of knowledge and it was lovely talking about his grandfather's house where he grew up. The blue city is just unbelievably stunning! I would highly recommend a trip here if you're visiting Tangier.
All in all, I think we both agree it was money very very well spent! We felt very safe and looked after, and probably got to see a lot more than we would have on our own. Thank you!

Amazing tour with Mohammed! He really knows the hidden gems of Tangier!
From smoothies to pastries, tagine to the best coffee in Tangier, this was one of the best tours I have done in my rime travelling.
We also saw so much of the city and learnt so much with Mohammed’s kind and friendly hospitality- I loved this tour, thank you

This food tour through the medina of Tangier is a must for anyone who wants to discover the authentic Tangier through delicious local food. Mohammed is an excellent guide who shows you tons of hidden gems and local places. We tasted lots of great food and spent an amazing time. I recommand this trip to anyone who wants to discover the real Tangier with the best guide in town! 👍

Highly recommend! Went on the food tour with Mohammed the first day we got to Tangier and it was a fantastic experience. He introduced us to many of the local delicacies that we would never have known to order on our own! We started with a typical Moroccan breakfast (pancakes and Moroccan mint tea), then we had baklava, some coated almonds (sesame, fennel, and oat), fresh smoothies, some meat-filled pastries (similar to samosas), spiced coffee, and typical Moroccan cookies. Everything was delicious! We also stopped in a spice and herb shop where we got to learn about the different cooking spices used in Moroccan cuisine. Mohammed was very polite, professional and accommodating. We loved getting to know him and he even showed us his old house! Overall the food tour was a great introduction to the city—couldn’t recommend it more.

Muhammad was great! He took us around the Medina and tried lots of great food that we never would’ve known to try otherwise! Muhammad was super sweet and knowledgeable.

It was a 5/5 experience the guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. The tour was very smooth and easy!! I’m a first time solo traveler and this experience was the best!!!! Definitely well worth it !!!

Muhammad was amazing! This was so much more than a food tour. He is very knowledgeable about tangier and Morocco. We enjoyed a camel ride on the beach, lunch in the Medina and a stroll through the market. You won’t be disappointed!

We did the food tour with Mohammed, it was an amazing experience! During the tour, Mohammend told us very interesting facts about Tangier and the Moroccan culture, he gave us tipps, we tried various delicous dishes (also recommendable for vegetarians) and got to know Tangier from a different angle – we wouldn’t have seen all the beautiful places if we hadn’t done the tour. We would defenitely do it again, with Mohammend, of course! Thank you for this fun and beautiful day! 🍊🥣🫖
