We booked our 8 day safari experience with Africa Zim and are so happy we did! From start to finish we felt very supported by our guides Blessing and Sheila. Virgin Atlantic lost our suitcase and when it arrived the next day Blessing went and picked it for us immediately, he was always easy to contact over Whatsapp and gave great advise. We started in Victoria Falls and then went from there to Chobe (Kasane), Elephant Sands, and onto the Okavango Delta (Maun). It was just an all round amazing experience. In booking the safari, I dealt with Pamela over email who was always quick to respond and tailored our holiday to be more affordable for us. Africa Zim tailored hotels and lodges to our price range which meant we could afford to have the trip of a lifetime :)
We stayed at Nguni Lodge (loved it), Travelodge Kasane (very like a British Holiday Inn), Elephant Sands (probably a completely unique experience in the world and a lot of other tour operators don't offer this I found) and Sedia Hotel in Maun (we adored this hotel, some of the best food I have ever had).
We greatly enjoyed the experiences which included Zambezi Sunset Cruise, Game Drives and a full day out in a Mokoro Canoe and Walking Safari through the bush tracking zebra. Blessing and Sheila drove us between the various places we stayed and had meals with us (taking us out to interesting places) on the occasional evening. We learnt a lot about Zimbabwe and Africa from them. We always felt safe and had good direction.
I strongly recommend Africa Zim, they are great hosts, know all the local operators very well and we always felt safe and well catered for. Not only that but i found them to be a very affordable operator, run by authentic people. It really was the adventure of a lifetime!

I found the 8-Day Chobe and Okavango delta tour while surfing the web. I once watched a show on National Geographic about the Okavango River and wanted to visit it. I did not dare to directly book a trip on the other side of the world, so I forwarded the idea to the local tourist agency in Slovenia. Looking back now, worries about the reliability of the travel with Africa Zim Travel from Zimbabwe were unnecessary. The entire trip went according to plan. My wife and I are very grateful to our driver and guide Cosmas, who fulfilled our every wish. Even though we had to extend our trip by one day due to flight connections, he arranged for us to extend our stay at the hotel in Maun and also took care of transportation to the airport - despite the fact that he had to return home himself after completing the planned tour. Therefore, the seemingly challenging journey was a real pleasure. I would recommend Africa Zim travel and their Victoria Falls to Okavango delta package because the good organization allows you to see a part of Africa that is not on the usual tourist routes - in a very short time.

Right from the start when he picked us up, our guide was very friendly and helpful. Everything went smoothly and as discussed beforehand. He always adapted the programme to our wishes and we also had time for last-minute plans. The time flew by, even on the long car rides. The hotels and the rooms were always the best and the tour guides were also very good. I can recommend them as we were happy as can be.

Il tour ha rispettato tutti i dettagli concordati in fase di prenotazione. La nostra scelta è stata per un tour middle budget. Abbiamo avuto due upgrade molto apprezzati e ne abbiamo rifiutato uno, sbagliando. I lodge sono risultati essere di ottimo livello (eccetto uno ma evidentemente per colpa nostra), molto buone le attività incluse nel pacchetto, molto buona e rilassata l'organizzazione dell'itinerario. Essendo solo con noi due come partecipanti, avevamo una sola autista/accompagnatrice e non una guida, perciò è mancata un po' a parte descrittiva/informativa e culturale. Pamela si è comunque rivelata molto disponibile e paziente, grazie. Nel complesso il mio giudizio è molto positivo, lo consiglio e lo utilizzerò anche in futuro.

Highly recommend Africa Zim! Our honeymoon throughout Zimbabwe and Botswana was amazing and Africa Zim was flawless with everything. Our guide, Moto, is an incredible man and so fun to be around. He is incredibly smart, very professional and has a great sense of humor. He made our trip an amazing experience and taught us so much about culture, nature, wildlife and everything that makes Africa so awesome. When booking with Africa Zim, see if you can request Moto to be your guide for the week - I promise you won’t regret it!

I booked the 8 day Vic Falls-Okavango Delta tour with Africa Zim to celebrate our 38th Anniversary and it was absolutely the best trip ever. Muto, our guide, was pleasant and courteous and exercised extreme care in making sure that every detail was taken care of along the way, from beginning to end, with even a few celebratory surprises at each stop.
Having traveled extensively on business as well as leisure over the years, visiting more than 70 countries, I tend to spend a great deal of time doing research, reading reviews on destinations and the hotels and comparing tour packages before booking. Africa Zim's 8 day tour seemed to include all the things we wanted to do with accommodations at reasonably priced hotels. Fortunately, they didn't disappoint.
Muto was a wealth of knowledge throughout the trip and was on time for pickups and drop-offs at all venues. At the end of each day he asked for a critique of that days activities and also provided information regarding the itinerary for the next day. He could not have been more attentive. All of the hotels were better than average in terms of accommodation and the food was unbelievably good at all of them, especially the Chobe Safari Lodge.
One of our biggest concerns (if you want to call it that) was the overnight at Elephant Walk since we had never done camping and wasn't quite sure of what to expect. Fortunately, we tried to reserve judgment and hoped it would be better than what we were thinking and fortunately, it was. In fact, it was all good and made us feel as though we had actually experienced "the real Africa." The tents were comfortable, although unheated but we had enough cover to bundle up against the elements and be able to sleep through the night. There is no internet or TV so sitting on the porch watching the elephants and reading gave us a chance to decompress for at least one day of our lives.
The most amazing aspect of the trip was that we were fortunate to see lions and the elusive leopard during our game drives through Chobe and it goes without saying that the Okavango Delta is just phenomenal. We had done Vic Falls during a previous trip, but even though it wasn't new, there were aspects that Muto pointed out that we weren't aware of and didn't know, so even that was good. Bottom line, it's a great tour package and you won't regret booking with these guys.
Many thanks to Blessing and Pam for their assistance, as well, during the booking process. My only complaint would be improving the line of communication and keeping in touch with the client after the booking has been made until the actual date of the tour. We booked in November and didn't hear anything until I initiated contact just a few weeks before the tour in July, so we obviously had some concerns. Fortunately, those concerns were alleviated once we got there and Muto took over. It was great!

My husband and I went on a 8 day tour with a guide from Africa Zim and everything was absolutely flawless. Our guide, Muto, was courteous, yet funny and always on time to pick us up and take us to different activities put together by Africa Zim. Initially I had my reservations as their website wasn't easily accesible and I felt that generally there was a lack of communication. But they were able to address my concerns via email and the itinerary they put together worked out really well. If I could make any suggestions, it would be a good idea to send a follow up email to customers a month before their arrival just to reconfirm the final payment and airport transfer. One other thing I suggested to Muto was to add an extra night in Elephant Sands as that was one of the highlights of our trip. All in all, I would definitely recommend Africa Zim to our friends and family!

Blessing delivered a fantastic service guiding us for the entire trip.
Our trip was from Victoria Falls to Maun and included games drives & boat safaris. Accommodation and meals were of a high standard, and the transport, driven by Blessing, was very comfortable and safe.
We would highly recommend Blessing and Africa Zim Tours to anyone looking to visit one of the most beautiful parts of the world.
