I've have been waiting my whole life to make it to the Motherland and I could not have had a better escort. The Freelancenana Travel teams was flat out phenomenal.
If you are looking for service, fun, history, excitement, knowledge, culture, good food, class and most important, love then look no further.
I came with a group so we did a customized private group tour of Accra and the Cape Coast. We were only there 6 days but gained a lifetime of memories.
I don't want to spoil all of the fun and surprises but if you can imagine it, we did it!
I don't have enough kind words to say about the Freelancenana Travel team so i'll just say THANK YOU!
Do yourself a favor and book with NANA, tell them "the Groove" sent you and he'll take it from there!

I really enjoyed this experience! I think Nana has a wonderful itinerary and every day is filled with a great experience! The food was spectacular and learning about the history of my ancestors was priceless. Prior to going on this trip there was so much that I did not know or understand! This trip was educational, exciting and exhilarating. If you get the chance….. gooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Nana Preston and his team are the epitome of professional tour guides. I’ve visited a number of countries over the years, met a lot of wonderful people but none more welcoming and accommodating and professional as Freelance Nana Travels. We had an amazing adventure throughout Ghana visiting the historical and cultural sites but they also went the extra mile with our nightlife activities. They were even accommodating when we had difficulty making our way to the next excursion because of our lack of sleep. They were ready and prepared for the unforeseen and handled each situation with consideration for our comfort and pleasure. I highly recommend Freelance Nana Travels for all your West African travel needs. So much so that we will venture with him and his team to South Africa later this year. We also intend on bringing another group to Ghana to experience the hospitality that is unmatched. Do yourself a favor and join a incoming scheduled tour or allow them to customize your own Ghana adventure, you will be glad you did.

The most amazing and spiritual vacation ever!!!! It was everything I could have imagined and then some. I was able to connect with a piece of my history that was partially known through television and movies and brought to life by this wonderful team of tour guides. They kept us busy with knowledge and made us feel like family along the way. Each day brought a new adventure and a piece of Ghana to bring home. I thank the wonderful freelancenana Travels, all my tour guides, my very skilled driver and the town of Elmina for being so welcoming to me, my family and my soul. They will forever be in my heart. Thank you for an amazing journey, I could have done it without you all.

The personal care and attention that Freelance gives is unbelievable. This was not a tour- it was a personal journey of self-discovery, adventure and fun! This surpassed my expectations! And our travel guides (Mike and Samuel) were amazing! More than a tour- it was a gathering with family that we shall never forget!

Nana is a man of the people. His tour not only gave us historical and cultural context but social as well that was continually affirmed in museums and by our various tour guides. We traversed through the Greater Accra region, to Cape Coast and Elmina, to Kumasi and up to Mole without a hitch. The beautiful waterfalls, scenes at the Mole National Park, conversations in the Asante villages, and resorts were some places and experiences I’ll never forget. My wife and I felt safe throughout our entire stay and would recommend anyone interested in authentically engaging with a natural leader and servant to travel with Nana. His professionalism is unmatched along with his genuine love for his country, his fellow Ghanaians and those who travel with him. It’s been a dream of mine to come home and with the help of Nana it surpassed all expectations. We will be back soon to hit the other side of Ghana and to experience more of West Africa with Nana. Shoutout the original Black man! Big love!

WHOA is all I can say About this trip! First trip across the pond and 1st to africa...it did not disappoint! Nana and his team were simply fantastic! I saw and learned so many things. I did not expect to see ALL of Ghana on this trip but they made it happen with what seemed effortlessly. They were so accommodating in every aspect of the trip. We will definitely be back and I will be contacting my new family.....Nana, Mike, Bessie, Aatuu (sp) and Bella! Best team ever and can't wait to get back to see my family as they are missed already!

We did a 14 day tour with Freelancenana and of course I was skeptical but from the beginning when we met at the airport I knew this was going to be a great experience. We were able to see so much of Ghana and learn about the history. The best part of getting to mingle with the locals and just have a vibe. I learned and saw so much more than I expected om this trip. I am forever grateful for this experience and how much he and the crew put into making this an amazing experience. Shout out to Nana, Dr. Michael, Bessie and the best driver ever Ato!!!

This was a life changing experience for me. Taking me back to my roots, which at times feeling like boot camp if you have bad knees like me. This agency made everyone in my party feel safe and comfortable. After photos jokingly I was called the King. The care I received and the team always checking on my well-being made me start to believe I was king. With the constant education from this agency knowledgeable staff and connections to wonderful guides will allow you to really fill the experience of Ghana in it’s fullest. Knowing that I wasn’t a king along with the expert driving made me feel that I underpaid for this wonderful trip. I can’t wait to go on another trip with this agency and looking forward to hosting these wonderful people in California that showed so much love
