I traveled to EBC with guide Narayan. He helped me know everything about Everest and kept me enjoyed all way through. Even I had two friends with me who were quite great to enjoy with throughout the trek.
Moreover, Himalayan Scenery Treks was way awesome in managing my trip. I'll do this trek once again in upcoming March and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Everest and other mountains so soon.

Ace himalaya 를 통해 에베레스트 베이스켐프 처음 가보는데, 밀란 가이드의 친절한 설명과 주의점을 잘 알려주고 고도적응도 적절하게 할수있게 스케줄을 짜줘서 이상없이 다녀왔습니다.
소만 포터와 밀란가이드는 항상 긍정적인방향으로 말해줘서 끝까지 완주할수있어서 너무 좋았습니다.
다음에도 오게된다면 밀란가이드와 소만포터 함께 또오고 싶을정도로 너무좋았습니다.

카트만두 공항에서 우연히 Pariwaparholiday스텝과 컨택하게되어 버킷리스트 1순위인 EBC와 칼라파타르 트레킹을 계약했습니다.
히말라야 트레킹은 처음이다보니 아는것이 하나도 없었고 담당매니저인 Manoj의 자세한 설명을 통해 부족한 부분을 보완했고 트레킹을 시작했습니다.
특별한 트러블 없이 트레킹을 진행했고 잊지못할 경험이었습니다.
함께해준 Prakash에게도 감사인사를 전합니다.

This was the best trip in my life and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Ace the Himalaya was exceptionally good at organising and guide and porters were very friendly. Iam looking forward to doing other treks in Nepal in the coming years.

We had a fantastic time during this trek in off-season. We wanted to make sure to pick a Nepali company, all the admin was arranged making it super easy for us and our guide Pasang and porter Gombu were perfect calm company and supported us with absolutely everything the whole way, perhaps it’s possible to ask for their services when you book. Big recommendation and we’ll come again!

Had an amazing time trekking to EBC with Ace The Himalaya. Both our guide Pasang and porter Gombu made this trek unforgettable and were very caring during the 14 days !!
We decided to go off season to avoid too much crowd and although not sunny at all times, much recommended!

When I decided to embark my journey for Everest Base Camp, the so called EBC Trek, I wanted to make sure about the quality of organisers and did extensive research to figure out so many positive reviews about ACE the Himalayas.
It was a group trek which taught me how to be the part of group which had 2 Americans, 2 Britishers, 2 Iranians, 2 Canadians , 2 Romanians and 2 Indians
For someone who always believes it’s all about mindset and I could complete it without any preparation, I would surely call it moderate to difficult trek both mentally and physically, considering the 5K+ altitude
From landing on worlds most dangerous airport Lukla 🛫
to Phakding to have fooseball game ⚽️with beers 🍻
to Namche Bazar along with Everest view Hotel Trek 🏞️
to Tighboce where we had our first sight of mightly Mt Everest 🏔️and Lohtse
to Dingboche to have some awesome coffee ☕️ to hike to Nangkartshang Peak
to Labuche to feel the atmosphere with super thin air and able to survive the same 🥶❄️
to Gorak Shep to drop our bags to reach EBC and witness the world mightiest Mountain EVEREST also from Kala Patthar 🥾
All of this makes EBC trek one of best and most memorable adventures of my life

PS: Thanks to our Guide Raj and Assistant Guide Dilip who were patient enough to tell names of all the peaks again and again and made this trek possible 🙂
Raj had great knowledge about medication, equipment and weather. When a few members of our trip fell sick his team took care of them to the highest.
He and his team always ensure our safety and comfort.
I never felt it was rushed at any moment as you can imagine during any organised trip
Dilip has all the qualities of becoming a trek leader soon and all the very best brother
PS: Special thanks to all our sherpas who made it possible by carrying our duffle bags so that we could sleep comfortably during the entire trek 🫡
When you plan such a lifetime experience, you definitely need a team like Ace, I wish ACE team a big Thank You as because of your guys 12 people have been able to ACE the Himalayas EBC Trek :)

A GREAT EXPERIENCE our guide Aamod Nepal and Poter kumar were wonderful, kind and patient with us. We had a good experience Amod went at our pace which was great. 누구나 한번쯤 꿈꾸는 그 곳 에베레스트. 평생의 한번 뿐일 수도 있는 이 과정은 아무리 준비해도 부족한 것 처럼 느껴졌습니다. 다행히 밀란 이라는 친절하고 전문성 있는 가이드를 만난 덕분에 EBC 까지의 쉽지 않은 여정을 무사히 완주 할 수 있었습니다. 저는 목표를 이루고 하산하였고, 이제는 꿈꾸는 모두가 그 꿈을 이룰 수 있기를 응원하겠습니다.

히말라야 에베레스트 베이스캠프 트래킹 여정은 정말 완벽했습니다. 가이드였던 밀란이 저희에게 필요한 모든 것을 제공해주었고, 진정한 친구가 되어 주었습니다. 그가 있어서 성공했어요! 아마 5000m 이상부터 고산병 증상이 있을텐데 어떻게 그 위기를 헤쳐나아갈지 잘 알려주었고 무리하지 않고 즐겁게 여정을 마무리하는지 배웠어요. 완전 만족합니다.

Hi, I was wondering about the COVID restrictions. As an American I was looking to try to come in the middle of May and I see Nepal requires a 10 day quarantine. I was wondering if I could come with a negative test in hand or get tested in Nepal if we could bypass the quarantine? Thank you

Heading to EBC in a week or so with G adventures, how much cash should I take? Need to buy food and other bits such as showers, electricity etc. Accomodation has been covered. Read somewhere about 400 USD worth should do it?

You can book your reservation for the EBC trek and then book your flights. I would advice including a couple of extra days before and after the trek in case there are weather-related delays to flights to and from Lukla. Also, local flights might either originate from or land in the other domestic airport which is a five-hour drive from Kathmandu, which is what happened to us on the way back.

Yes, it’s possible to do it in 9 days.. 5 days up and 4 back . Get a script for “ DIAMOX “ from your Doc for altitude sickness and drink 4l of water each day.. even in cold you dehydrate with the altitude/exertion.. it’s hard going in stretches. You’ll need cleats for your boots .. the tracks are icy and very slippery with the snowfalls ... it’s Winter there now and really cold . I did it mid December , last month .. -15 at night , -30 at base camp and 0 to -10 daytime ... villages up higher are closing up now so probably limited accomodation now.. most hike groups/ higher villages close up for jan- March .. too cold and too much snow . I’d recommend waiting until April or getting 1/2 price deals on offer for end of season nov/ dec .. and yes, flights in / out of Lukla are delayed in Winter .. good luck !

We had a group of 8 and with 2 guides they allowed us to walk pretty much at our own pace. Our team ended up with 2 pace groups; the "fast" group and the "slow" group. I was in the slow group.

I have seen young children on the trek . My son was 17 he did get a cold and like a young person it did make him lethargic. I did have all correct medicines from the doctor which greatly helped.

I am planning to do the Everest Base Camp trek during the last week of December. I was wondering if December last week is an ideal time to do this trek? How much more difficult will be it be to do this trek with the dropping temperature?

I believe it is feasible to do a trek in late December and when we were in Namche we asked one of the lodge owners if the lodges are open year round and he said that most are open. The main challenge would be the temperature. It was already very cold when we did our trek in late Oct to early Nov.

Check the website Bookmundi out. It goes over each itinerary but from what I can figure, the 16 day itinerary gives you an additional day in Kathmandu on each side of the trek which is awesome for those who want to take advantage of being in the region and exploring the local culture a bit more!
