We did the Everest base camp track and Kalapather in 9 days with this company, our guide Dinesh and porter Gundas. We had a great time, good advises along the way and enjoyed the experience with them. And arrived back safely! Definitely recommend this company, guide and porter! Good luck and have fun at your adventure!

If looking for a amazing experience look no further than Bhim he accompanied us from Everest view hotel to Lukla airport 4 day Trek staying in 3 T houses along the way. After an amazing flight up To just below camp 4 on Everest stopping to take photos was breathe taking¹
Arrived at Everest view hotel and meet by Bhim was like meeting a best friend from the start nothing was a problem for him. He arranged all our food and drinks along the way always there for a helping hand when meed and fun always a lovely smile.

Babu and his team provided our group of 3 a nine-day EBC custom trek at a very reasonable price. We had an awesome and safe trip, a lifelong goal for some and a very emotional personal journey.
They clearly know what they're doing, from an excellent Guide (Santosh) and two strong and loyal Sherpas, all we had to do was walk at a steady pace. Accommodations, airfare, and food on trek and in Kathmandu were all included and first class. Not a single hiccup!
Very easy to work with, you won't be sorry.

This was absolutely the most amazing trip. Adventure Great Himalaya took care of me from the time I landed in Kathmandu until I flew home. They are very knowledgeable about the city and the mountains and treat their guests like family. I’m hoping to go back in a couple of years and do another of their treks. I absolutely recommend using them for your next Himalaya adventure! Love this company!!

When my wife and I decided to fulfill a 25-year dream of trekking to Everest Base Camp, we chose to go with Adventure Great Himalaya. There are so many companies to choose from, but their website spoke to us and we liked that they were a local Nepali company. Communication with Babu was quick and easy. He always responded immediately (as much as a 12-hour time difference allowed). Booking was smooth and he took care of all the little details. When we arrived in Kathmandu, Babu, our guide Nanda, and a vehicle was waiting for us. We (7 of us in our group) were quickly delivered to our hotel. We had a meeting in Babu's office that afternoon to finalize details and prepare for our city tour the next day. The city tour was a wonderful way to see the highlights of the Kathmandu Valley.
Babu and Nandu have many years of experience in the industry and know all the right people. Beginning the trek by flying into Lukla can be weather dependent, as it was for us. Babu and Nanda arranged a helicopter ride for us when it looked like flights were not going to happen. That way our trek could start on time. Once on the trail, Nanda's experience and reputation became evident. He took care of any adjustments needed on our trek, monitored our health, and insured our accommodations without us even knowing. The sign of a great guide is when your trip seems perfect, but you find out later that slight changes happened along the way without you knowing. Nanda made sure we were settled in our rooms in the teahouse each day, acted as our waiter during meals, and made suggestions as to food and drink. Each night at dinner he would tell us the schedule for the next day. He was up early each morning to greet us and give us an overview of the day during breakfast. Nanda is a very knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humor. If his value as a guide wasn’t obvious yet, it became very clear on our last day. Weather prevented flights from arriving or leaving Lukla. It was determined that we’d be spending an extra night in Lukla. One hour after settling into our rooms, Nanda got word that a flight was coming in. He found some of us in the teahouse and rounded up others who were shopping in Lukla. He hustled us over to the airport, took care of our luggage and security, and soon we were hurtling down the airstrip. We still don’t know how he got us on that flight! At the same time Babu was arranging for our rooms in the hotel in Kathmandu.
Again, I will say that the sign of an experienced company and guide with key connections, are when adjustments have to made to a trip and those changes happen smoothly in the eyes of guests. I am highly recommending Babu and Adventure Great Himalaya as your trekking company. They are professional, understand your needs, and are true to their word.

The owner and samir,my tour guide, helped me to do the trekking from Lukla to base camp everest in 7 days since that's how many days I had left to make the trekking.

I did the luxury EBC trek in May 2022. Santosh was an amazing guide for nearly two weeks, and the porter was spectacular as well. The overall experience was as much as I could have asked for with everyone hard working, flexible, and responsive. Highly recommend this team if you’re considering EBC and request Santosh as a guide if possible.

We used Adventure Great Himalaya for two different treks during our stay in Nepal. We came in December, during COVID times. Babu was very responsive to our inquiries and helped us successfully obtain our visas during these difficult traveling times. We compared this agency with multiple others and chose to work with Babu because he offered the most complimentary gear and services (cramp-ons, sleeping bags, heavy down jackets, emergency oxygen cans, trekking poles, duffle bags etc.). We are very glad we did. Upon arrival in Kathmandu everything went smoothly and we really experienced special adventures of a lifetime.
The first trek we did was EBC 3 Passes with our guide Krishna and porter Lama. Because of COVID there were hardly any travelers so many lodges/tea houses were closed. Krishna was very proactive in securing a place for us to sleep at night. For example, from his communications he found out there were no open lodges in the village Dzongla, so he coordinated with the owner of the Green Valley lodge to come up from Pangboche village to accommodate our stay. Another time the village we planned to have lunch at was unexpectedly empty, but good thing Krishna packed Mandarin oranges and Snicker bars which he shared with us, and Lama met us half way to our next stop with warm tea. Krishna's English is very good, and communication was always clear. He is also very knowledgeable about the terrain and peaks in the Everest Region. We were impressed that he knew the elevation of every location we asked about. Overall we are very happy with both Krishna and Lama, and their expertise.
The second trek we did was Mardi Himal with our guide-cum-porter Ram. Although his English is not as good, his positive spirit was contagious and we really enjoyed his company. He referred to me as "little sister" in Nepali, and fittingly, like a big brother, he was always watching out for me. We are so grateful for Ram!
