Perfect day
We had a lovely day.

Highlights included:
* easy pick up from the hotel with airconditioned taxi
* big group of guests just big enough to meet interesting people but small enough so that it didn’t feel like a tourist trap
* BEAUTIFUL VIEWS
* Canoe trips (multiple!)
* They even let you paddle yourself for as long as you want
* The food was honestly the best we’ve had in Thailand. It was incredible.
* Free time to swim in the ocean
* Cave visits - what an experience
* We made traditional flower tributes - also incredible
* Moonlit canoe with special send off of our flowers
* Bioluminescent organisms
* Easy transfer back to the hotel.

This was easily the highlight of our Thailand trip. Do not be tempted to choose a cheaper supplier. The food alone was worth the money. Also, don’t be concerned about any less-than-perfect weather. It rained for most of our trip, but the guys are very knowledgeable and made sure that the rain affected us very minimally. The rain was actually a nice addition.

We had a lovely day and are very grateful to the John Gray team. 10 out of 10 would recommend

It was fantastic. The caves were cool but not too long. The lagoons were beautiful. The food was great and plentiful. The staff was very attentive. They paddle for you. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Highlight of our entire Thailand trip!

If you are debating whether or not this is your alley, whether or not it will be worth it, whether you trust buffets or canoeing adventures in the open sea - stop thinking and buy the tickets! During my recent trip to Thailand, this ended up being my most memorable experience (and one that all my friends thanked me for later).

While it is a day trip that goes well into the night, it goes by quickly. You ride on the upper level of a double-decker style boat and are fed two delicious buffet meals (thank you, cooks!). To some, a buffet meal on a boat can sound ominous - but the cooks and staff are amazing. They work with dietary restrictions and the food was so good that some of those trays were left absolutely spotless. The bathroom situation is a little hairy, but you’ll live!

The caves themselves came off as a little daunting at first - we had a high tide so getting in meant laying flat. But the guides on this tour are so incredibly kind and capable and would never do anything to put you in harm’s way - so trust the process and I promise you will be rewarded with irreplaceable memories that will never in your life be able to be duplicated. The lagoons were ethereal, the lanterns we made were so beautiful and meaningful, and seeing the stars reflected in a placid night pool as everyone made wishes and set their candlelit lanterns afloat…absolute magic. Not to mention the bioluminescent algae…the water moves around you like diamonds.

It is SO worth it, treat yourself to something truly beautiful.

I’d love to take this opportunity to thank the cave tour staff for such an amazing experience. I am learning Thai and the guides were so fun - they let me practice Thai with them, taught me new things, and we were laughing the entire time. I’m actually regretful that I didn’t think to get anyone’s contact information, and so I’ll be hitting up the sea tour insta account!

And to คุณ Sun, คุณ Dawut, คุณ Lenny, and คุณ Golf - thanks for making the trip so fun and memorable!! พวกเราคิดถึงคุณมาก!

Absolutely amazing day out, I 1000% recommend it, staff are very friendly and super helpful, I was a little nervous to go through the caves but our guide (eptsy)? Not sure how to spell his name, reassured me i would be ok and promised he would look after me, he was incredible, I can't say how unreal this day out was, views were gorgeous, had the most unforgettable day ever

If you have a chance to have only one experience during your vacation in Phuket, chose this one.

There are different companies that take you to Pha Nga bay and to explore caves and small islands, John Gray is the best. The have a very well-planned rich program, you never feel bored and at the same time never feel rushed from place to place.

The boat is big, but the tour did not feel crowded at all. Was surprized to lean that the boat had a kitchen - all meals were cooked on-site, the food quality was very good.

Each canoe was assigned a dedicated person who knew the ins and outs of caves and could answer questions / take photos.

Great day out in a sea canoe!
We had such a fun day out! The boat trip was lovely, the food offered for lunch & dinner was delicious and our personal guide was terrific fun! We managed to puncture our canoe squeezing through a cave and had to swim out to retrieve another canoe - our guide was great & kept us feeling calm & relaxed about it all & we actually consider it a highlight of the day!
We wish we had thought to carry cash on us so we could have tipped him at the end of the day - thank you, Munn!

Worth every penny! They were so kind, funny, and professional! My friend and I had the pleasure of having Samon as a guide and I can’t hype him up enough. The food was absolutely delicious! Probably one of the best food experiences we had so far. I would highly recommend John Gray’s Kayak tours! Book it! You will not regret it☺️
