We had the pleasure of being guided by an exceptional driver Aswar during our trip to Sri Lanka. His commitment to ensuring a safe journey was truly commendable. His attentive driving, adherence to traffic rules, and expert navigation skills made us feel at ease throughout the trip. Their local insights and knowledge of the area added a rich layer to the experience. I greatly appreciated their focus on road safety and their dedication to making our journey memorable and secure. It was a pleasure to have such a skilled and responsible driver/tour guide accompany us on this adventure.

Great tour with amazing company. Couldn’t recommend enough! They put all our wants and needs first and customized our dream trip. We had an amazing tour guide and driver who even when I became ill on the safari, moved heaven and earth to make sure I was okay!

The tour was really fun with going up Sirigiya rock and hearing the stories about the history! The ride with Mr Aswar was very smooth and he organized a side-visit to one place after the request! Being in Sri Lanka for only one day this was very much worth it, and they offer options for elephant safari and feeding as well!

We just got back from our honeymoon and Sri Lanka did not disappoint! I actually worked with Kingfisher Tours on 3 different days and they very reputable to work with and deliver everything possible to make sure you're taken care of. We stayed in Colombo so did a Tuk Tuk tour of the city with ANWAR who is fantastic. I would specifically ask for him. We then travelled to Kandy (with ANWAR) for a day to ride elephants, visit the tea factory and visit the Temple of the Tooth. We stayed one night in Kandy and then traveled (with ANWAR) again to to Sigiriya to see hike the Rock Fortress and go on a safari. This was a long day as we had to get back to Colombo to fly out the next morning.
I learned alot and would definitely change my itinerary if I knew then what I know now. We started in Chicago and flew to Doha for 4 nights then 6 nights in Sri Lanka and 6 nights in the Maldives. We should have skipped Doha and just stopped at Doha airport and kept going to Sri Lanka. Stay in Sri Lanka for 10-12 nights and move around every 2-3 nights as the country has so much to see but it's very spread out. Then I'd still do the Maldives for 5-6 nights. Heaven on earth. And then on the way home we should have broke it up. It simply takes too long to leave the Maldives and get home. In hindsight we would have flown to Istanbul and stayed for a few nights and then flown Istanbul to Chicago.
Regardless of your itinerary... VISIT SRI LANKA AND LOOK UP KINGFISHER TOURS!!!
