Very well organized day trip from Amman to Petra, including camel ride. My private driver and guide Freddy were very friendly and explained everything in detail. I was able to see and enjoy all the sights in Petra, walking through the awesome Siq Canyon, and arriving at the magnifi Treasury. Then we went to the Street of Facades, and the Theater and the Royal Tombs. We stopped at Qasr Al Bint where my guide selected a camel, which was fun to ride all the way back to the Treasury. I had a wonderful day, and the entire experience was truly cool and exciting.

It was amazing. Did the mountain route and all main attractions but ran out of energy to go to monastery. I advise getting a guide for mountain and horse or ride to get to monastery

I was thoroughly pleased with my overall experience with Petra Night Tours & in particular, with my driver/guide Tayseer. I traveled to Jordan solo & Tayseer immediately made me feel safe & welcome. He is very knowledgeable about Jordanian history & culture & shared some interesting information.
After picking me up from Amman airport, Tayseer took me to the Dead Sea, where I enjoyed a relaxing float & mud mask. He took me to the best place to access the Dead Sea where the beach is nice & sandy & the mud is abundant. Along the way, we stopped in many places to take fun photos! En route to Wadi Rum, he took me to a special shop to purchase authentic, affordable Jordanian Dead Sea body products because I expressed an interest in it. I was grateful for this because the prices at the shop were fair & not marked up for tourists.
In Wadi Rum he helped me arrange a sunset camel ride, which was incredible! Wish I had more time in that beautiful desert.
The next morning we drove to Petra. Tayseer helped arrange a private tour of Petra for me with local guide Ali Al Masadeh.
My day tour with Ali was nothing short of informative & fun! He is a wealth of knowledge about Petra & is clearly passionate about his job. He also takes the coolest pictures on your phone & knows all the best spots for photos.
I’m grateful for this unforgettable experience & my wonderful guide Tayseer, who went above & beyond to make my time in Jordan special. I highly recommend him & Petra Night Tours & will be sure to book with them the next time I’m in Jordan.

Let me start off by saying the only reason I didn’t give this 5-stars is due to 2 stops to the drivers friend’s shop, which featured over priced goods both to Petra and on the way back. While referred to as “refreshment stops,” it quickly became apparent this was an attempt to push us to buy things. I also didn’t like that the driver requested I submit a TripAdvisor review and comment card while in the car.
Otherwise I recommend Petra Night Tours if you’re visiting Jordan. My recommendation is to request to skip the shop altogether.
My driver, Tayseer, was waiting in front of my hotel in his air conditioned car, which had fast WiFi and was stocked with ice cold water. On the drive to Petra he filled me in on interesting facts about Jordan and then left me some quiet time to catch-up on work emails.
Once I arrived at Petra I was joined by our guide Ali Almasadeh. He was excellent! Ali has been giving tours of Petra for 26-years and his knowledge really shows. The tour, which lasted over 2-hours was filled with interesting history. He took no less than 100 photos throughout the journey and I have to say he got some really good shots.
Once I finished the walking part of the tour I was introduced to my camel. The 10-minute ride to the treasury was a very nice experience and this time my camel guide took lots of photos.
Petra is a place where having a guide makes a huge difference and Petra Night Tours is a solid choice, but skip the shop!

We are a group of 8 friends from Singapore visiting Jordan, for most of us, this is our very first trip to the Middle East, let alone Jordan. Before we arrive in Jordan, we were optimistic but caution on what we will be expecting in Jordan. The very moment we met our guide, Mr Mohammed Al Najjar, we know our concerns are unfounded.
Mr Mohammed is as cheerful and as professional. He took care of all our needs, water, toilet breaks, meals etc. Above all, he is very knowledgeable of the historical, economical, topological and political happenings of all the sites we visited. In fact, he planned it so well that all of us learned so much about Jordan effortlessly in a very short period of time.
During our tour in Petra, Mr Mohammed explained in great details of all the sites with historical significance and this had helped us to better understand the lives of the Nabataeans.
On our way to the Dead Sea, he helped us traced the route of Mosses and told us amazing biblical stories that helped us connects with the sites we were about to visit such as Mount Nebo.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied and happy with our stay in Jordan, all thanks to Mr Mohammed and our driver, Mr Abd Al Allah.
