Organizzazione impeccabile. Dai primi contatti telefonici all’assistenza durante il check-in tutto è stato perfetto.
Un grazie infinito a Mahamoud, non solo guida estremamente preparata e professionale, ma anche splendido compagno di viaggio con cui abbiamo condiviso lunghe e divertenti chiacchierate … tra un obelisco e una sfinge.

Excellent!!! They took care of everything! They were personable and went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. Brilliant Egyptologist tour guides very knowledgeable and accommodating. Beautiful people and personalities!!

My family had a truly unforgettable 2 weeks in Egypt thanks to Look At Egypt! In the few months before the trip, we were in close contact with Ahmed and Fayrouz who were always gracious and quick in their communication, whether over email, What’s app, or phone. We were a group of 7 requesting the Mysteries of Egypt tour but wanted to add Alexandria, and they responded with an updated itinerary immediately. Ahmed was very accommodating and worked with us to negotiate itinerary details, accommodations (e.g. staying at 2 Cairo hotels instead of just one) and costs. The company also smoothly handled PCR testing for leaving Egypt. For $105USD per person, they invited a doctor onto the Nile river cruise when we were in Aswan to take our samples and we got our results on-time.
Ahmed was professional, courteous, and quick when addressing big and small issues. For example, we had a last minute drop-out of a member in our group of 7 people. Another family member replaced him, but he flew from a different city and one day later than the rest of us. Ahmed quickly responded when we let him know and handled updating domestic flights, cruise, and accommodations. Upon our request, Ahmed even worked with his team, that is our tour guide Mostafa and driver Tawfik (who is the best driver I’ve ever witnessed by the way), to take our last-minute family member on a private tour early in the morning before our regular itinerary that day to see the pyramids, which he had missed on day 1.
Throughout the tour, we also conveyed nitpicks about the hotel rooms and food, which the team worked to address day-by-day. We appreciated their efforts and were impressed by the level of teamwork the Look at Egypt team displayed to satisfy their customers. Every single day, our tour guides (Mostafa in Cairo+Alexandria , Mohamed in Luxor to Aswan) were timely, professional, courteous, engaging, and radiating passion for Egyptian history and culture. It was a privilege to be taught and guided by them. Our drivers, especially Tawfik in Cairo, were super humans. Driving in Cairo looked like absolute chaos coming from America, but Tawfik navigated the mayhem like a boss.
As for points of improvement, we were hoping to be treated to fancier meals since we had paid for the highest tier of accommodations. The food was tasty, but we had hoped there was room in the budget for slightly fancier/nicer options too. The hotels were great, and our favorites were Kempinski in Cairo, Hilton in Luxor, and Mövenpick in Aswan.
All in all, this was a trip for the books. Thank you so much for everything Look at Egypt.

We had an amazing time in Egypt thanks to Look at Egypt Tours! Every step in our itinerary was well thought out and everyone we interacted with was extremely accommodating. Throughout the trip, my family and I had an abundance of questions and requests but everyone from the company was incredibly patient. Traveling in an area we were unfamiliar with in a time of great uncertainty due to the pandemic, we were constantly reassured that everything would be okay and that they would handle any of our concerns. We also want to give a special shoutout to our tour guides Mustafa and Mohamed. Their passion and knowledge for Egyptian history radiated throughout our trips to the pyramids, temples, museums, etc. We all learned so much during our time and were able to recognize certain figures and symbols towards the tail end of our trip thanks to them. Apart from their depth of knowledge, Mustafa and Mohamed treated us with so much warmth. From telling us life stories to offering food from their own lunches, they made us feel like part of their family. We can honestly say that we couldn’t have asked for more amazing tour guides! We also greatly appreciate Mahmoud who coordinated all of our transportation from city to city and addressed all of our concerns with unwavering patience. This trip was a truly unbelievable experience thanks to Look at Egypt Tours!

We all had a fantastic time with Look at Egypt Tours!! From being escorted from the airport to the hotel along the Nile River by Tarek and Abdul to being escorted to Giza and the sites in Cairo By Hannah. We had a wonderful time and we’re treated to authentic Egyptian lunches. Tarek is so kind and caring right up until we left Cairo on the flight home. Hannah showed us wonderful ancient sites in Cairo. She is kind, accommodating and a lovely lady. We had a nice flight to Luxor and we’re escorted by Dr.Jones. He is a very kind man with a great sense of humor. He has a PHD in ancient Egyptian archaeology. We visited all the ancient temples, the Valley of the Kings all while traveling the Nile on a river cruise. Dr. Jones explained what story the Hieroglyphics we’re telling. What an amazing life the ancient Egyptians had. We visited ancient temples that were moved to higher ground due to the lower and upper dams being built. An amazing feat in itself. Abu Simbel was a beautiful temple. Tarek also picked us up at the Cairo airport upon return from Aswan. He went above and beyond to help us with PCR tests and transport us to a different hotel closer to the airport. He even showed up at 3:30 in the morning to help us get through the different stations at the airport on our flight back to the USA . Dr. Jones bought two kilos of hibiscus tea for us to take home and would not let us pay for it. All the people were just so friendly and amazing. I highly recommend this tour with look at Egypt. This tour company also set up a wonderful tour in Jordan to Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea with wonderful accommodations. 5 star tour all the way!!

My group of 6 friends booked this tour with Look at Egypt in late December 2020. We added on a couple days to the trip to visit the city of Alexandria. I booked with Look at Egypt because it was a small company and I could personalize some portions of our trip. I dealt with the managing director, Ahmed Abd Al Fatah, who was very responsive. We first started via email, but moved to Whatapp in communicating back and forth. This made finalizing the itinerary easier.
Initially I was hesitant in wiring a huge amount of money to this company, not knowing if I could trust them. But I'm glad I threw caution to the wind, because our tour was very well organized and the company never left any tour detail incomplete. We were always taken care of upon arrival into Cairo and with departure home. Someone was always there to make sure we were taken care of every step of the way. This is a legitimate company.
During the tour, we had Mohamed Abuelmagd as our tour guide. He was always constantly with us during the whole tour. We would have different drivers, airport greeters, and security guards. But constantly we always had the same tour guide, which is nice as you can build a relationship with the guide and don't feel like you're always being passed off to someone else at different cities.
Mohamed was a great guide, not too much information to overwhelm you, but enough information to learn a little and keep you interested. He was also accommodating. He allowed us free time to wander on our own and have personal contemplative time at the places we visited. He was always asking us if we had questions and always checking on our health and well-being during the trip. We always felt safe throughout the tour.
The only negative things I would say about Look at Egypt was with the initial booking process. I wish they provided timely responses to invoice/receipts and agreed upon changes itinerary. For example, when I wired money, I would have liked an email confirming receipt of money along with an invoice showing what was paid. I had to ask for an invoice and it took more than a week to get this from the company.
Also when we changed things with the itinerary, I would have liked for a timely response with an updated itinerary. Each time we changed something with the itinerary it took several weeks to get the update. Ahmed was responsive, but changes to invoices or itineraries went through his administrative staff and this took quite a while. During the booking process I had interacted with several people, so I was not sure if there was a main person because I would get responses from different people. So it was hard to know which person I had to deal with.
Other than the initial booking difficulties, the tour was very well organized and the Look at Egypt team we interacted with while in Egypt were very professional and friendly. A shout out to Tarek, who was our airport liaison. He assisted us upon arrival in Cairo with visas, he handled the domestic air travel to Luxor, he also assisted us with our return home. At the airport he would help us through security, getting check in, getting a SIM card for my phone, and managed some lost luggage issues. He helped us every step of the way at the airport, he's a nice guy and very chill.

Wonderful time in Egypt with LAE
We had a wonderful time in Egypt, thanks to Look at Egypt Tours! Their service was extremely professional, from the booking to the drop off at the airport in Egypt. They prepared our package according to our requirements and interests and the trip was flawless, all went smoothly. We have been to Cairo then we took the Nile Cruise and Abu simbel It is hard to pick a highlight, all the sights were fantastic, you feel like in a movie! Great service throughout the trip! Our thanks to Fayrouz, tour consultant and Fayed our guide in Cairo, and Muahmmed our guide in the Nile Cruise. You guys are awesome!

We have been to Cairo then we took the Nile Cruise and Abu simbel It is hard to pick a highlight, all the sights were fantastic, you feel like in a movie! Great service throughout the trip! Our thanks to Fayrouz, tour consultant and Fayed our guide in Cairo, and Muahmmed our guide in the Nile Cruise. You guys are awesome!

Look at Egypt was the perfect partner in putting together and executing our first visit to Egypt. I was the coordinator of trip planning and had done some spadework to know a little about the itinerary and what we wanted to see. Ahmed, the owner of Look at Egypt Tours was extremely efficient, helpful and responsive in putting together the itinerary. He was always very quick to respond to queries going so far as to respond at 3:30 am Cairo time on one occasion when I didn't realize the difference in time zones. Once we got to Cairo he was also very responsive in coordinating our schedules and meetings with his people.
From the time we landed, the Look at Egypt staff was at hand to help us negotiate the new country. A special word of appreciation for Karim who was our airport point person. He coordinated all our trips to and from the airport including our trip back from Aswan to Cairo when the airline delayed our luggage delivery by 1.30 hours and we were in a time crunch to get into Cairo for an event.
Our Guide in Cairo, Dalia was wonderful in understanding our preferences and customizing our tour for us. She was extremely personable and great fun to be with. She was also eager to help take pictures and gave us a peek into local dining. We were sorry to see our time with her end and we would have been happy to have had her with us on the Nile cruise. However, our guide while on the Nile cruise was also excellent. We really enjoyed our time with Mohammed. He was knowledgeable and extremely helpful, always at hand to help us plan and execute visits on the trip. Ask him to take pictures of you - he's an excellent photographer and knows how to frame the perfect picture.
Finally the crew on board the Steigenberger Legacy that we took for the Nile cruise was wonderful - very attentive and caring and we felt extremely well looked after.
Overall, we had a marvelous time thanks to Look at Egypt Tours and I would unhesitatingly recommend their services in planning a trip to Egypt.
