Our guide Gamal was fantastic. He had a wealth of information, obviously passionate about the subjects and places that we visited. He helped us to take pictures and videos that came out great! Our driver Hassan knew the routes and was extremely patient with us.

Unforgettable private tour of the Pyramids of Giza with Gamal and Hassan. We started our day by being picked up at our hotel. Things that I always look for in guided tours are people that are passionate about the history and culture, educated, and respectful. Gamal superseded all of our expectations. He gave us a very heartwarming welcome and we immediately knew that we were in for an adventure of a lifetime. He explained the plan of the day and made sure that we all on the same page with the itinerary we chose. Hassan, our driver made sure we were comfortable and provided a very safe experience. He was timely and made sure we were at ease with each location we were transported to. We had adequate time to see all we wanted to see, amazing pictures, and well thought out explanations of what we were seeing and their historical significance. Grateful for the surreal and unforgettable experience of the pyramids with Gamal and Hassan. Highly recommended a guided tour for visiting Giza and Cairo.

We had a private tour today with our tour guide Gamal and our driver, Hassan. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and driven safely through the traffic madness! Thank you Hassan for being a great driver.
In my experience a tour guide can make or break your experience, and can turn a good experience into something great. Gamal made our experience amazing with his extensive knowledge of Egyptian history, hieroglyphics, geology, tombs, pyramids, and so much more. He presented Egyptian history in a digestible format as well as tying the highlights of each place in a well organized manner. You could tell the excitement and passion he possess in showing others the rich history of Egypt. Best of all, he was a great photographer/ director for your Instagram/tik tok reels! He knows the best spots for photos, maneuvered us away from the large crowds and kept us away from most of the street vendors.
We were taken to 3 “touristy” shopping stops (souvenir shop, Egyptian cotton clothing store, papyrus art shop) as part of the program but you can make your time here as quick or as long as you want. Remember to bargain if you want anything and don’t be shy to walk away if it’s not the price you have in mind. I found the papyrus store interesting because they showed the technique for forming papyrus.
If Gamal wasn’t so popular, he would be our tour guide throughout Egypt!! He is an expert in his field and it was truly a pleasure being educated by him. He kept our group continually engaged and excited for Egyptian culture and history.

If you want to experience the ancient world of the Egyptians the way you dream of, then you have found your tour guide. Just ask for Gamal!!! Gamal is one in a million. He is one of best tour guides I have come across amongst my travels around the world. Don’t hesitate to book with him. It will be the highlight you want in your Egyptian vacation.

The tour was a great experience and ticked all the boxes. Our tour guide Ahmed Gaber was great and very knowledgeable. He explained all the history so well and was passionate about Egypt which was great to see. Our driver Andrew was also great.

The day trip was well planned. Martina was excellent at explaining the historical sites and their importance. I really enjoyed the trip and would recommend Martina as a tour guide to anyone. We had Naser as our driver. He was polite and punctual.

ATTENTION : Il ne s’agit pas uniquement de cette agence de tourisme, ces pratiques sont généralisés ! PS : Avez-vous déjà vu comment les locaux traumatisent et tortures les animaux pour qu’ils soient domptables et exploitables à leurs fins commerciales ? Je recommande à personnes de voir ce genre d’images.
9/10 - Le guide :
Il est très sympa. Il prendre volontiers des photos sympa de vous et il prend le temps de vous raconter l’histoire des monuments. Chauffeur très amical.
5,5/10 - Les visites :
Pyramides de Giza : (20 min)
Lieu détestable. Les animaux y sont exploités et maltraités. Laissé pour mort au bord de la route sous 45 degrés toute l’année. Ce lieu ressemble à une usine. Il y juste 2 pyramide encore en bon état mais cela représente simplement des blocs de pierre sans intérêts puisqu’il n’y rien à voir à l’intérieur (comme à l’extérieur finalement)
Boutique de papyrus : (25 min ou plus si vous le désirez)
C’était sympa et ludique d’apprendre comment sont fabriqués les papyrus. Le vendeurs très sympathique.
Boutique de parfum : (40 min ou plus si vous le désirez)
Sympa la démo de fabrication des contenants de parfum ainsi que l’expérience sensorielle. Les prix EXORBITANTS. Ex: 3 fioles de 25 mg 170 $ puis négociés à 40 $. Finalement je n’ai rien acheté tellement la supercherie était grande.
Boutique de bijoux :
Sympa de connaître la signification de mon prénom. Les prix EXORBITANTS et la qualité des produits ne semble vraiment pas y être. Vendeurs très aimables et au petit soins.
Les magasins : (1H10) (conclusion)
Les vendeurs sont agréables mais ces boutiques sont des attrapes touristes. Tout coûte 100x plus cher que les boutiques hors visites. Bien sûr, le guide gagne sa part en vous y déposant.
De plus, quelques soient les prix, vous pouvez négocier au MIN la moitié du prix.
6/10 Restaurant: (45 min)
La nourriture, sans goût. Le service pas mauvais. La vue est sympa.
Ordre de grandeur des prix :
10$ c’est plutôt bien ! 20$ c’est très bien !! 40$ et plus … Vous êtes le plus généreux des 🐦 (PS : la 1ère semaine j’ai fait parti des généreux 🐦)

From the word go, we felt at ease being shown around Cairo and its famous sites!
Mostafa and our driver Ahmed were accommodating and very knowledgeable. We changed our tour slightly to see a museum instead, which was no problem, and we were charged no extra.
Wonderful way to see Cairo. Highly recommend this to anyone.

I would like to visit inside of Giza Pyramids and Sphinx, is it possible? and how much it would be? I don‘t want camel ride, is it fine? I want to have a full day tour for these places plus museum.

You are able to go inside the Giza pyramid for an additional fee (you pay at the site) and you will also see the sphynx at this time. Just keep in mind you must be able to climb a lot of steps to get inside the pyramid and it’s also very very hot and humid once inside.

I can't remember the make of the car hut it was a newish comfortable sedan with good air-conditioning. The restaurant was one of the better ones. Nice little taste testing of different food and then a main. The worst was in Luxor. Say mo to that one.

You might be able to EFT cash for payment of the trip so definitely contact the travel company - that’s what we did. If you stay at a good hotel they will usually have an ATM if your guide will show you working ATMs. Enjoy!

If you can mount a horse, you’ll be fine as the camels wear a saddle. The guide will instruct you as to when to move forward and back as the camel stands up and vice versa. I can’t recall where I saw the advisory, but it did state the weight limit was 250 pounds for the camels sake ❤️

The price depends on the size of the group. For larger numbers, the price per person goes down. Two adults and three children is very doable for this tour.
As far as clothing, modesty is always appreciated in Egypt. That does double duty by protecting you from the sun. As this is a full day tour, you will be starting in the early morning when it can be quite cool, so you will want a sweater or jacket that you can remove when the temperature rises. Sturdy footwear is a must as much of the walking will be over uneven surfaces.

We went in a group of 5 people for quad bike. For 2 of the quad bikes the workers sat in front of the grill so couldn't do much manoeuvre on the bikes nor enjoy the view. Was this the same for others? Otherwise everything else was great
