In Aswan, I did 2 tours with Emo. On Saturday 11.02, I did the private tour to Abu Simbel with departure from my hotel in Aswan. My guide Samir Gaber arrived ahead of time into the hotel, and I was immediately impressed with his punctuality. He welcome me warmly and we proceeded to the car where I met the driver called Shico.
We left Aswan at 04:00am. On the way, Samir explained the details and history of both temples in Abu Simbel to me. His English is excellent and he accompanied his explanations with photos and self drawn maps, which helped me to know exactly where and what the carvings and hyrogliphics actually mean. This was a huge help and I was able to bring the map with me into the temples. We had a toilet break en route and had a coffee and Samir and Shico took some amazing photos of me with the sunrise over the desert. Again in Abu Simbel, Samir too so many awesome photos and we were amongst the first to arrive in Abu Simbel beating all the buses and coaches. This meant that I could take photos in the Temples alone with nobody else and Samir was my photographer!! Once I finished both Temples, I took some more pics of Lake Nasser and Samir had called a restaurant in Abu Simbel to prepare a lunch box for me ro eat in the car on the way back to Aswan. This was easily the best food I ate during my 2 weeks in Egypt. The food was so good. Samir was able to answer all my questions / he is a background in Egyptology and is passionate and Knowledgeable. I learned so much just from listening to him speak. I had a free day on Sunday 12.02, Samir was suggested visiting Kom Ombo and Edfu, and he arranged this private trip for me within 30 minutes. I had it booked and it was seamless and he made sure that I had the same driver Shico for that trip. Shico is a very safe and professional driver and the vehicle is extremely comfortable and spacious. Samir even drew some maps and tips and advice for me for the next tour in Kom Ombo and Edfu. His professionalism and care are just simply incredible. He cares for his clients. He wants you to be happy and to have the best time. On Sunday, Shico drove me from Aswan to Kom Ombo, Edfu and back to Aswan Airport. En route, he bought me coffee, sugar can juice and offered me a sandwich and lunch. I was not rushed and felt that I had enough time there in each temple to discover the sites. Shico is a very kind and friendly guy. We talked more and more and I felt that at the end of tour he was like a friend. Before he left me at the airport, we stopped for a coffee and hibiscus tea in Aswan to catch the sunset in the Nile. I had the best 2 days in Egypt with Samir and Shico. They are 2 very kind guys and Emo Tours are lucky to have such professional guide and driver. I would never hesitate to use their service again in the future and I would love to meet Samir and Shico again one day in Egypt when I return, inshallah.

It was a wonderful day, the tour guide (Nermien) was SME on anciente egyptian history and gave me comprehensive overview of both temples, kind people made me enjoy this day

Initially, I was choosing between taking the train between Aswan and Luxor. Instead of that, I found I could transfer between the two cities with this tour to see both sites, and I was glad I did. Although both sites were reasonably far and took quite a bit of time to get to the two temples, both were well worth it. Our guide Emat was very knowledgeable about the sites and able to answer all questions, as well as give us an in-depth view of the history of the sites.

This trip was just amazing, early morning start with Hotel pick up. Although we started from Luxor and went south to Aswan.
Khalil our driver and Ghada Khalaf drove us to Edfu Temple and then to Kom Ombo, before arriving at Aswan.
It's a long day driving but Khalil made us feel secure and Ghada is just an amazing tour guide.
Her explanations are professional and interesting. With over 20 years experience. Ghada will definitely teach you in depth about the Egiptian history and traditions.
We visited the Edfu and Kom Ombo temples, also the high damn and Philae temple.
With Ghada and Khalil you feel well taken care of and supported throughout your journey.
Definitely a great day trip.
Khalil our driver and Ghada Khalaf drove us to Edfu Temple and then to Kom Ombo, before arriving at Aswan.

This was another great day with Salwa. She was so great during our tour to Luxor yesterday that we requested her for Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples. We ended up going to the museum in Luxor instead of Kom Ombo which ended up being a fantastic suggestion from Salwa. I will sure miss her great spirits and knowledge when I leave this beautiful country.

So glad I chose to travel from Aswan to Luxor with a guide and see Edfu and Kom Ombo temples. So beautiful. Ebtesam was a fabulous guide!! So much information about the inscriptions at both sites. Just fantastic. Door to Door transfer and totally hassle free. Fantastic day! Thank you

Second tour with Salwa. She was an amazing tour guide. She was able to provide detailed explanations and make the carvings come to life with her descriptions. The tour was smooth and we had adequate time in both Edfu and Kom Ombo temples. I highly recommend Emotours and Salwa!

2nd tour with Salwa. She did a wonderful job on my first tour that it was a pleasing to know she would be my guide for this tour. Salwa was very accommodating and mindful of the temples visited. I enjoyed our 10-15 minute discussions prior to each site. It allowed her to explain the significance of the site and offer me more in-debt information away from the crowds. Upon return I would definitely request Salwa as my guide.
