¡¡IncreÃble!! Fuimos a conocer la Viña Concha y Toro con ellos y la experiencia fue espectacular. Felipe, el guÃa, fue a buscarnos y en el camino nos fue contando muchas cosas interesantes sobre el paÃs y su vino. Luego, ya en la Viña, se encargó de todo, hasta de las fotos, y siempre con la mejor de las disposiciones. La conversación fue muy buena, sin duda vamos a repetir la experiencia. ¡¡Gracias por todo Felipe!!

Our day with Felipe and Christian was very good. Felipe was an excellent driver. Punctual and accommodating. Christian added value to the experience with his knowledge and picked an excellent wine at Santa Rita for our lunch and provided extra information during the museum tour. We had the local Choclo beef stew which was excellent. Our only criticism of the day is that at Unduragga and Concho y Toro, your tour is not private and both those wineries let too many people on the tour (16-20) making it hard to hear the guide at times. Had those groups been in the 6-8 range it would have been much better. The properties were beautiful and being there at harvest time allowed us to taste many different varietiels of grapes. The convenience of the guide to provide information while we waited for the tour to start was helpful.

Hello again Chris! I’m glad you appreciated Felipe and Christian added value to the experience on service and knowledge. That’s what makes it worth to go private. Nevertheless, the tours and wine tastings at the wineries are not private and depending on the number of people on the tour (usually very small groups) it is some times not as appropriate as one may expects.
We’re launching an ultra premium top 3 experience in which the tours at the wineries are private as well. Let’s see how it works. Thanks so much for your comment. All the best, Juan

I didn't have a lot of time in Chile to visit wineries and so when I saw the opportunities that Maipo Valley Wine Tours provided, I was very interested. I booked the Top 3 Wineries full-day tour and I was not disappointed. Felipe picked me up at my hotel in Santiago right on time and was my driver for the entire day. His colleague, Christian, joined as my personal guide at the conclusion of the first winery tour at Undurraga. From there we traveled to Santa Rita winery where I was able to enjoy a delicious meal at Doña Paula restaurant. The restaurant was closed for two large groups, but Felipe was able to work his connections and get me a table. It was fantastic! From there we went to Concha y Toro where I was delighted by another tour and wine tasting. The best part of all was the friendly and gracious hospitality of Felipe and Christian who, I felt, were like long lost friends. I would highly recommend Maipo Valley Wine Tours to anyone... it's organized, friendly, punctual, and well-connected with all the wineries you'd like to visit.

We were picked up right on time by Carolina. She was our personal guide / driver for the day. Carolina probably knows more about wine than anyone in Chile from her past work with Chilean wine companies and a world wide ambassador.. All three wineries were massive, with lots of vines, lawns, trees etc. There are allot of weddings at these wineries and it's clear to see why, so beautiful. I proposed to my gf at Santa Rita Winery! Carolina kept us on schedule, answered all of our questions, took pictures of us after we got engaged, and shared in our special moment.. We had lunch at Santa Rita, and did not do a wine tasting our tour of the winery, but did have tours and tastings at the other two. Communication with Maipo Vally Wine tours as spot on. This company has to be at the top of the list for tour operators for this area.. You will be very happy this tour. We did 2 different tours with them on our trip, and they were both unbelievable!! Book it!

Well organized. Cristian is a great guide. Very knowledgeable and engaging on all topics. We learned a great deal. The tour is nicely arranged balancing touring if wineyards, tasting, and a delicious lunch. The schedule doesn't feel rushed with time at each stop to take in the atmosphere. We will be back.

Hicimos el tour de un dÃa a viña de la Isla de Maipo. Fui con mi señora Paola y con mis suegros. A mi me gusta mucho el mundo del vino, y a pesar de haber visitado viñas en vacaciones en otros paÃses (Argentina, Uruguay, España, Italia, España y Estados Unidos), nunca habÃamos visitado viñas chilenas.
Aprovechando una visita de mis suegros prográmanos el tour a viñas de Isla de Maipo con Felipe y Cristian, y la experiencia superó completamente las expectativas:
1. Facilidad y buena comunicación para hacer la reserva
2. Cumplimiento de hora programada de recogida, y buen estándar del vehÃculo utilizado
3. GuÃa excepcional, muy conocedor del mundo del vino, de la cultura local y gran facilidad para conectar con las personas (éramos los únicos chilenos, y mis suegros necesitaban comunicación en español). Cristian nos hizo sentir muy cómodos y como grandes amigos.
4. Lugares con sabor local y auténtico: tomamos desayuno con una familia del lugar. El almuerzo también en una casa del lugar. Ambiente agradable, gran hospitalidad, sencillez y generosidad. En el desayuno se sumo Felipe, gerente de la empresa, con la misma amabilidad y empatÃa que Cristian.
5. Viñas pequeñas y medianas (Demartino, santa Ema y Undurraga), con un ambiente familiar y positivas sorpresas de vinos con grandes atributos y buena relación precio - calidad.
6. En Mendoza habÃamos visitado un salir de los olores, y el que tenÃa una de las viñas (creo que Santa Ema) fue una grata sorpresa.
7. Los vÃnculos que se generaron en el grupo permitieron una agradable charla en la terraza de la viña Undurraga.
Es posible que en otras actividades a se incorporen elementos adicionales materiales, pero creo que la calidez de las personas que nos acompañaron, marcan el punto alto de un dÃa memorable.

We were heading to San Antonio from Santiago for a cruise. Maipo hit the spot as they took us to several wineries, some snacks, lunch and dropped us off at our hotel in San Antonio. All the wineries we visited were great and varied (one more established, one more using old methods, one doing interesting blends, etc.). Driver was friendly and professional. Guide knew all about chilean wines and provided info on history as well.
I'd highly recommend them. They were most accommodating with our ridiculous amount of luggage too. Which we added to with wine.
