This was an excellent tour. I couldn’t have asked for better experience. Hugo is the best tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about Peru history and was very patient with the myriad of questions I asked. He knows the trials and how to pace the group to provide the best experience. Felix and his team were able to provide some unbelievable meals. It is unbelievable what they can cook on the trail. I highly recommend this trip on the Inca trail. It is challengeable but doable. This was a great group to share this experience with and when you complete the trail it is the best feeling of accomplishment when you arrive at Machu Picchu.

Valencia travel made our hike amazing. Or guide Felipe fit in perfectly with our group. He was able to keep us on pace, explain the natural and historical significance of where we were, and by the end felt like one of our group. Felipe was always happy to explain anything we had a question about and added lots of historical accounts and incan stories. Felipe made the trail fun and educational for our group couldn't imagine having a better guide.
The porters also did a great job, the food at camp was amazing, having a warm camp shower was way nicer than any of us expected. The entire crew crushed it.

Had a wonderful trip to Peru with Valencia Travel. We visited Cusco, Machu Picchu, and Puno. Shout out to our trail guide Genrri who was knowledgeable and easy to talk with. Our porters and amazing chef made the experience unforgettable.

What an amazing experience with Valencia tours! We just finished our 4 day private tour and honestly could not have wished for a better experience. Everything was absolutely fabulous. Starting with our tour guide, Guillermo, who felt more like family by the end of the tour. In fact we miss him now that out tour is over. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, patient, funny, and we always felt like we were in good hands. Felix, our chef, made amazing meals and Fernando was just so nice as our waiter. In fact, the entire support staff of porters were friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend Valencia.

Our trip to Machu Picchu couldn’t be a success without Valencia Travel.
From our communications abroad to the last detailed informations before departure, the Valencia team of experts were there every step of the way; ensuring that we had all the equipment needed and ready for the early pickup at our hotel.
We had the pleasure to be guided by the senior expert Andes’ guide Aldo Sanchez accompanied by his merry « Chaski », the world renowned Peruvian porters!
From day one, all of them make sure that all of our needs were taken care and made us feel at home each step of the trek.
We were welcome each meal by smiling faces happy to tend to our needs. Food was very tasty beyond our expectations. Toilet tent was always ready for our private use and dining area was clean and welcoming.
We pampered ourselves with some extras on our trek: hot showers were sooooo relieving after a hard day hiking and alcoholic beverages were perfect to extend that relaxing feeling.
We didn’t bring our own sleeping gears, but Valencia had us covered for all our needs; they rent us sleeping bags and mattress for the trek. One of us even got a pair of trekking poles. On that matter, bring your rubber footing if you bring your own trekking poles, otherwise, they will make you buy a pair in order to preserve the trail.
Some other extras we got from Valencia was with the train from Agua Caliente; we rode in the Vista Dome that gives you magnificent scenery of the surrounding mountains, and we bought the extra rail distance to Poroy’s terminus to have less bus ride back to Cusco.
One last thing: pickup you trash people! So many garbage tossed by trekkers along the Inka Trail… so disrespectful.

We had an amazing trip! from the wonderful support from all porters to our knowledgeable guide Rene. Rene is very friendly and helpful. He is very patient with us as our team is a bit slow. He cheered us all the way. We had many jokes together and learned a lot about Inca sites. Our group enjoyed all food cooked by chef Freddy. There were a lot of food! We highly recommend Valencia Travel !

I coordinated a group of 7 women for private service, and it was the best experience. I had no doubt Valencia Travel would provide superior service, and this was because our Tour Guide Wilbur Ramos, who is extremely knowledgeable, safety oriented, comical and genuine in our education of Inca history and its past formidable empire. As we hiked, I felt his encouragement as he played the flute as we climbed up to Dead Womens Pass, He was patient as we took as little more time, but also knew we were strong women taking on this challenge, and it was not always easy.
Our chef, Gregorio, "Goyo", had the best food of all of our Peru!! the culinary expertise of this guy whom planned a menu according to our hike plan, carbs and proteins, and we had plenty.. .I mean plenty to eat. The porters (all 10), with leads from Climico, and special mention to Fortunato who would met us at the end of the trail to help carry our personal packs to our porters applauding our days hard accomplishment. Along the entire trail, Wilbur encouraging the porter of other competitors as his "little brother" to continue to be strong as they quickly passed us on the trail. My respect to the team of Valencia Travel, the porters, head chef and his assistant and mostly to Wilbur for delivering an experience that I encourage anyone to participate in. Thank you Wilbur. we the 7 women from California, USA will forever be your "Flowers".

Wilbur was an amazing guide very knowledgeable, accommodating and safety focused. The food was outstanding. The porters were alway watching and keeping us safe. Best trip of my lifetime.

This was an overall incredible experience that I will cherish forever. The services provided by Valencia were fantastic and each member of their team was friendly and inviting. Nico, our head guide, was energetic, passionate, and understanding throughout the entire trek. Every fun fact about the trail itself, the history of the incans, or any of the numerous ruins found along the way were at the tip of our fingers. It was obvious there was a lot of thought and planning as to how the overall experience was to be felt and they delivered on all occasions. The porters were extremely hard working and deserve so much more credit than they are given. All so friendly and compassionate. It felt like they were really invested in the success of our journey. The food deserves its own review because every meal made us feel like we were dining in a top tier restaurant. The food alone was some of the best I’ve ever had but it was the preparations that they put together for us that emphasized the willingness to go above and beyond. Thank you Valencia for an unforgettable time and I will certainly recommend in the future.

I did not know what to expect going into the hike, but with the help of our amazing guide Nico from Valencia Travel, myself and my group were eager and excited to start the four day hike. Throughout the trek we were stunned by amazing and breathtaking views. Our guide Nico was entertaining, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He would point out many interesting spots along the way and share the many amazing stories and histories of anything and everything. All the porters were fantastic, and very hardworking men. Our cook, Gregorio, was phenomenal. Each meal could have been from a restaurant.
The hike itself was very challenging. If not from the support from my family and Nico, I might not have had the strength to finish. I was able to see views of the incredible mountain ranges and the fascinating Inca architecture at every point on the trail. I was in awe of the construction and foundation of the Inca trail itself.
All in all I found that my experience with Valencia Travel way exceeded my expectations and would absolutely do it again with whoever is willing to put their body to the test again!
