The tour was quite an experience. The owner of the agency, Mario, guided me and two other tourists himself, and his English was fluent. The people were great, and the places we visited were practically all for ourselves—not crowded at all. You can see bats in the caves, and if you are lucky, you might spot tortoises during the tour through the mountains as we did. The final stop at the canyons is very beautiful and perfect for swimming. This water that is a bit further then the first you will see is a bit warmer due to the reservoir above, where the sun can reach it. Very unexpectedly, on our way back through the forest, the weather became crazy, with heavy rain, hail, and lightning. Unfortunately, visiting the castle was no longer possible due to safety concerns. It turned into a very long day, but Mario was amazing and made sure we reached our destinations for the night. I would definitely recommend this trip! Thanks, Mario!

Jimmy is great guy and a very patient guide. We can see that he knows his job very well.
The views were amazing and swimming in the canyon was really good too. The local food in the restaurant was great.
Hiking is not that hard except if you have asthma problems.
We spent an incredible day because of Jimmy.
Don't hesitate, this tour is amazing especially with Jimmy the perfect guide 😉.

I really enjoyed this tour and was truly impressed by the cave and its history, dating back to medieval times. Thank you to Jimmy, our tour guide who made the road easier for us and was very helpful and informative throughout the day.
The canyons were just stunning, that for me was a 10/10 experience on my little day trip from Tirana. I also enjoyed our last destination, the beautiful Castle of Petrela, dating back to Byzantine times. Thanks for a great day Jimmy! The tour covers various sites and includes a traditional lunch which was great.

Straight from picking you up, the tour guide was really friendly and well spoken, along with his driver.
He really knew how to make you feel comfortable and had so much knowledge of Tirana with the ability to answer any question you would ask.
Quite possibly the most passionate tour guide of his craft and had the most fun and relaxed experience.

The floor in areas is wet and mixed with the mud makes it very slippy. More lighting is required. But the views inside are stunning. The trek upto and back are also very beautiful views of the mountains

I had the pleasure of having the guide, Mario, take me around the whole day. All in all an incredible trip. He was incredibly friendly and was able to tell me a lot about the area we were in. The lunch at the restaurant near the cave was amazing and delicious. All in all am incredible trip!

L'aspettativa era alta e siamo rimasti delusi. Il tour è durato 5h, la guida era giovane e non molto coinvolgente. Partiti alle 9. Alle 10 stavamo andando alla grotta che si raggiunge attraverso un bel sentiero lungo la montagna ma poi giunti lì siamo entrati e usciti, non aspettatevi le grotte turistiche. Tempo per arrivare 2 h tempo di visita 5 Min.
Il pranzo che abbiamo fatto alle 12, niente di eccezionale anche se il signore del 'ristorante' è stato ospitale.
Subito dopo siamo scesi al fiume.. bello forse solo in estate se vuoi passare la giornata lì ma non da visitare.
Per ultimo il castello, o meglio le sue rovine. Dentro ormai c'è solo un ristorante.. anche lì visita di 10 Min anche perché oltre il bel panorama ahimè non c'è nient'altro.
Ritorno alle 14.
Qualità bassa prezzo alto.

The Hoking experience was Not easy, Enjoyed the nature, the Sun and the great View ,, still the Cave itself it's nothing to see and I don't think it deserved all the effort

Our guide Arnold and the driver were super friendly and answered all of our questions about Albania. The cave was awesome, the lunch delicious and swimming in the canyon was refreshingly cold and the sights beautiful. A great day.

Super expérience humaine avec notre guide Arnaud et notre chauffeur. Rdv à l’heure et facile d’accès avec un parking juste à côté.après 40 mn de route, nous voilà parti pour 45 mn de marche pas toujours facile mais Arnaud nous laisser souffler gentiment en s’arrêtant à des endroits avec une vue magnifique.visite de la grotte noire avec une lampe. On a même pu voir des chauves-souris 👏👏😀Puis retour et un repas typique Albanais avec nos guides, très beau moment de discussion et de rigolades, très convivial…
Sur la route , marche en direction du canyon où nous avons pu nous baigner dans le canyon, très agréable car l’eau était fraîche mais limpide .Après ce moment de détente, direction le château avec une vue magnifique sur Tirana et ses environs , puis retour à notre point de rdv au centre de Tirana . Je voudrais préciser que Arnaud et notre chauffeur ont été adorables du début jusqu’au retour.Ils étaient toujours à nous demander si on avait besoin de faire une pause, si on avait besoin de quelque chose, si on voulait rester plus longtemps ou pas , bref vraiment des gens adorables , on a bien rigolé ensemble 😀😀😀👏👏

We are staying at the Radisson in Tirana do you pick up here? How far is the drive?

When I stayed in Tirana, I sent my guide a Whatsapp message asking if he could pick me up at the city centre. That drive was roughlt 30-45 minutes. Although the city was very crowded when I was there, so how long the drive will actually take depends on that days bussiness on the road. Hope that helps :)
