Was quite looking forwards to this as, like the blurb states, it's the biggest winery in the world etc etc. Fun stops there. The guide we had talked so fast even I, an Englishman, found it hard to understand what she was saying, despite her speaking in English. We asked her to slow a little to no avail. My Romanian partner had even less of a clue. The 'tour' lasted 40 minutes and all we saw was a million bottles of wine, nothing about where or how it's made, unless I missed it...then to the tasting part. We were shown to a table with the 3 wines and 2 plates of snacks, very nice, the guide explained what the wines were then said 'sit down', gave us each a bottle of the dry, red wine you get to taste, no choice out of the 3 btw, then left us. We sat and tasted the wine, both a little confused as to how long we had there. No one came and told us that the train was going so we missed our train back to the surface, luckily a group of children and their teachers had a space on their train to take us back up. €35 is WAY too much for this tour. Waste of time and money.

Simply amazing, is everything so Moldavian in this place. the guide explaines the story of the winery and caves and how the place became winery. Is also included in Guiness Book on length of the caves. The restaurant with traditional live music and delicious Moldavian food were perfect to wine tasting. in one world a paradise to vine lovers and reflect so so much Moldavian spirit.

Excellent experience to see how to produce and keep in perfect condition so many good wines. It is an attractive point to visit alone or with your family.
Nice guide, good explanations and finally a small shop to buy amazing wines.

The red and white wine fountains at the entrance are a novel introduction. Vehicles can drive down into the caves and view row upon row of bottles of wine. The wine tasting on our tour was 3 types of wine, red, white, and sweet red. All very good as were the accompanying snacks. The prices in the shop were a steal. A very enjoyable visit.

A big thank you to Corneliu for making this trip extra special.
Not only he was on time to pick us up despite the weather, he was very detailed in explaining everything from little to big about the city and other areas throughout the whole journey.
Overall Corneliu was very pleasant, polite and well mannered and made us feel very comfortable and at ease.
Definitely recommend Best Travel, it was easy to book the excursion online. They were very accommodating even when I called to change the time I originally had booked.
Also the excursion itself was absolutely amazing.

Did a tour with Cornelius. The weather was mixed snow and rain but he still came on time. He thought of every little detail to ensure safety. He was very knowledgeable and would point out and explain certain things we saw along the way. His English was excellent. Exceptional guide. Wine Tour itself was great as well.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a fantastic morning visiting and learning all about the very unique Milestii Mici Winery. We had spent a month touring from Helsinki, finishing off with a lovely time in the sunny city of Chisinau. The day after completing the Chisinau half marathon we deserved a relaxing morning learning about the winery and the local culture of wine making and storing. Simply put - if you find yourself in Chisinau you have to visit Milestii Mici.
We were picked up at our hotel earlier than expected which was great and met our very nice driver 'Mike'. There was only one other person in the car so Mike was able to pitch a lot about the city of Chisinau, the Communist Regime, Transnistria and also prepared us for our wine tour by telling us about the storage tunnels, the fertile land and the process.
Mike allowed us ample time for our picture moments and introduced us to our tour guide. A very informative guide with humour thrown in too which is always a good thing. Driving through the wine tunnels was surreal which ended with fantastic wine tasting, snacks and superb local music around our table.
Mike was very patient and did not rush us for our drive back to Chisinau. What a great day and trip.

半日のツアーを申し込みました。
時間前にホテル前に来てもらい、個人での申し込みでしたが、私個人のツアーになりました。ガイドのCORNELIUは、丁寧なガイドで、英語が得意でない私にも分かりやすい、はっきりとして、ゆっくりな英語を話してもらいました。
その他、色々モルドバの事や、彼女の話なんかをして、移動中楽しませてくれました。終始穏やかで、とてもイイツアーでした。次回利用する機会があれば、もう一度利用したいと思います。

Best travel has very helpful English speaking staff that go the extra mile to ensure your experiences in Moldova will be great.

Our tour guide from Best Moldova did not speak English, but with a little patience and using Google Translate we managed to have a reasonable conversation. He is a very nice man and was also very kind. When he saw that we were trying to take photographs of the Milestii Mici sign on the way in, he stopped the car without us asking, to ensure that we could get a good photo."
Underground all the information was done by a Milestii Mici staff member who had excellent English. The tour was both informative and interesting.
We were very pleased that we did this tour as it was one of our highlights in Moldova.

We're very happy that you have spend a great time in Moldova. You have booked a tour at Milestii Mici winery. In Moldova, all the wineries have their own guide. We just wanted to let you know that on your trip you were accompanied by a driver, that guy wasn't a guide. Fortunately, now we have a driver who speaks English well. We hope to be your hosts next time :)

It is perfectly suitable. You arrive in a car and all of the trip through the tunnels are done in the car. You only get out for short periods and walk very short distances over flat and quite smooth surfaces. I hope you enjoy your visit....make sure that you do the wine tasting....not necessarily the expensive package deal that the winery does, but the package that Best Travel Moldove tours does (you can find them on TripAdvisor).

Yes, that would be fine. Most of the travel is done in a car. The short bits that you walk are fairly level, and the surface is smooth. There are very few steps, but even then people would likely help you.
